This is a go to place for breakfast.
My groups been here a number of times. Accommodating service when we bring a large group (16). Chicken and Waffles are superb. Have their mushroom omelette. Excellent. Good coffee. Bloody Mary was tasty but could have had a bit more kick. Highly recommend the Parsons Ave location. Tried to do the campus location but too hard to find parking. Go to Olde Town.

Chicken & Waffles, Sloppy Seconds and Hoe Benny ALL delicious. I can't remember the last time I had Chicken & Waffles and the waffles weren't hard and/or cold. We really enjoyed the food and our sarcastic server, Stephen. Fun, laid back atmosphere. Would highly recommend

I had taken my father for lunch after a meeting close by , I was a little offended by the wait across the street. It was the first time I had been able to get into this restaurant without a long wait. The food was excellent. The staff is friendly and as efficient considering the client mob. This is a definite go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch especially during the week.

Wow! This place is a must eat!!!!! Our incredible waiter, Stephen, was quick, helpful, and hilarious!!!! Best waiter! Everything eaten by my party of 7 was delicious! I ordered cinnamon roll French toast with a side of bacon and an over easy egg. Oh my it was all perfect! The French toast with the icing was so good and the egg was cooked perfectly. The bacon! Oh the bacon! It is a peppered bacon that is thick and crunchy. The maple syrup is local, from Akron and also delicious. My husband enjoyed BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) and my daughter enjoyed her omelet. If you get bread, get the biscuit! It's big and fluffy. I also got a strawberry mimosa (a current special) and it was good. When I'm back in town, I will definitely return here! Delicious diner! It's a cute diner with pop decor on the wall. Hilarious menu titles.

i just want to take time to let everyone know that I found CHEWED GUM stuck on my B.E.L.T. the manager proceeded to imply that it must be my fault. lmao. what a joke! I was here with work colleagues and we were all appalled. I even contacted corporate about a week ago and STILL haven't heard back. this is absolutely disgusting!! I will NEVER eat here again and would never recommend to anyone. if I can clearly see chewed gum on my sandwich then what happens to the rest of your food that customers can't see??? do better, specifically the management. Im leaving reviews everywhere I can until this establishment holds themselves accountable for their serious health code violation. I almost ate someone else's spit.

I'd been to the other location and liked it. Today I needed some rest and sustenance after a blood draw and before working out. I think I got the frog eyes at the other one (sausage biscuits and gravy, with eggs on top.) So, need to mix things up: here I got the Smothered and Covered, _chorizo_ gravy on biscuits, with eggs (over medium but a bit underdone) and chicken. Yum. The chicken was perfect, crispy outside, tender and moist inside. The biscuits were good, fluffy but sturdy. The gravy was good (not spicy though.) The eggs were good. Service was great. The ambience is, well, not fancy, but cozy and cool. Easy street parking nearby on a weekday at 8am; not a whole lot of spaces so probably crazy at peak. Lots on the menu I want to try.

This Kiche little breakfast spot in Olde Towne East is popular with Ohio State alumni returning for games. It's also super popular with Columbus locals. They have a super fun menu with a lot of creative items. The service was excellent but you might want to call and put your name on the waitlist! They have indoor seating and an outdoor patio weather permitting. It's super adorable place as well as great food!

The Pollo Party was to die for, the best breakfast dish I've ever had. Stephanie G was a fantastic waitress, she rushed our food and checks since my coworker and I were on the clock and just stopped in to get a quick bite. The vibe in here is very classic and upbeat, if the food doesn't put you in a good mood, the atmosphere will. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone I care about.
Be the first to ReplyService was fantastic.
Wonderful brunch spot with great food at a reasonable price! Great spot for college kids or a family visiting the Columbus area. In a cute part of town that is walkable with many shops to peek into!
Be the first to ReplyHOE has a special place in my heart for breakfast.
As an OSU alum, I've been frequenting the two Columbus locations for years now. The OTE staff makes the absolute most of the space they have to get patrons in and out while still giving the best possible experience. The servers are always extremely friendly and, despite the craziness that comes with a weekend trip, always are efficient. The frog eyes are a personal favorite and I love to get the HOE fries with peppers and onions. They never disappoint! Ps. Please bring back the breakfast quesadilla!!!

I get the chicken and waffles. Service is always great. Also the mimosas are great

We checked in as a party of 4 and we're quoted a 10 minute wait. We actually waited an hour and a half. The waiting room was very cramped and constantly had more people coming in. The hostess was very absent and there were often tables open and nobody moving. The original wait time was 10 minutes and ended up being 90. When finally seated, the waitress arrived quickly but the drinks took quite awhile. When they arrived, the milkshakes were warm and had spilled all over the side and there were no napkins provided. Food was very good but came slowly. Whole environment was very disorganized.

Wait staff was pretty rude and finding a gluten free meal was difficult. Food was decent. If you're somewhat hard of hearing (like me), it's also hard to hear friends your with.
Be the first to ReplyThis is my favorite place for brunch in Columbus.
The staff is friendly and fun, the food is delicious
Be the first to ReplyI can easily see how this is a mainstay in this area.
We stopped here for a quick-ish breakfast on our way out of town. It's located in the Ohio State Campus. Parking was a bit of an issue. We ended up paying $8.50 for an hour and change to park in a garage that was maybe a 3 minute walk from the restaurant. Now to the food: their menu has an iced French toast latte on it. I asked the server if they could make it hot and they said no problem. However, as you can see in the picture, it's coffee with French toast syrup added. Granted, the description of the drink says coffee, but they call it a latte. The manager heard me talking to the server about it and agreed that the title is a bit of a misnomer. It was my least favorite thing that I ordered, but to be fair, I DID order off of the menu. Smothered n' covered was DELICIOUS! It seemed like it had been sitting for a bit before they served it, but it was so tasty I didn't care. The chicken was so wonderfully flavored, juicy, and crunchtastic. The real start is the "hoemade" chicken chorizo gravy. So. So. Good. Also, the pickles were a delicious addition. Chicken chorizo skillet: exactly what it sounds like. The flavors were so nice and the textural mix with the grilled chicken and the chicken chorizo was perfect. The biscuit that came with it was a bit burned on the bottom, but fluffy nonetheless. The vibes in the restaurant were definitely college-y, but in a good way. Our server was super sweet and attentive. All in all, it's a safe bet for a solid brunch!

Breakfast tacos were delicious! We'll the filling was at least. The flour tortillas were actually falling apart so it would've been a good idea for them to double up cause the feeling got a little soggy. Overall breakfast foods were pretty basic and can't really be messed up but if you're a lover of breakfast this is the spot for you. Their on a college campus so def a younger crowd. Go w good company and you'll have a good time
Be the first to ReplyBest breakfast in Columbus - hands down.
First of all, this place has such fun vibes. Hang Over Easy = HOE for short, so everything is HOE this and HOE that. Made me giggle. Then there's a cool rock n roll sensibility about the place, the staff and the patrons. Good music playing, comic books on the walls. And the food. Oh, the food!I don't know how I decided what to order here. Everything sounded amazing. Everything brought to the tables around us looked and smelled incredible. I finally went with the chicken and waffles which was superb. Perfectly spiced, crispy fried and tender inside. Hubby had the Dirty which is like an everything burrito and oy, the flavors. So good! We're literally coming back asap. This place is a treasure.
Be the first to ReplySuper cool place, with friendly employees and great food.

3rd time and still so in love! Every moment we waited on a busy Sunday morning was so worth it! Met fun local folks who are just as passionate as we are about this gem! Started with Pineapple mimosa & Kentucky Sunrise cocktails to die for..got a great table and fabulous service..ordered a Korean chicken sandwich and omg the small house salad with waffle croutons and big chunks of bacon rocked my world!!! A fan for life!!
Be the first to ReplyHangOverEasy is a Columbus staple that I highly recommend.
Their Hoe Benny is my favorite--one of the best breakfasts in town!
