Great place with one exception
Reasonably priced Korean barbecue, my family and I went and it was well worth it. Very attentive staff, constantly made sure we were good and would take our orders immediately. Best was the soy chicken and the beef bulgogi. However, I would be wary about getting the seafood. What we got was not fresh, and the shrimp especially had a strange aftertaste that we could not get out of our mouths. I would definitely reccomend this place still, though, just would suggest to avoid the seafood.

This was our 1st time at a Korean BBQ the staff was patient with us and gave us the rundown good food and service, My favorite was the Cajun shrimp hubby loved the steak.

Korean BBQ at its best! We ordered Wagyu beef, short ribs, chicken, jumbo shrimp, and other apps which were already cooked. The meats were sliced thin and were high quality. We had a fantastic time and it was all delicious!

Terrible BBQ poor quality! Rubbish service manager gave 10% off for frozen meat and tasteless food!! Donโt waste your bucks!!!

First time doing the Korean BBQ experience. Had a great meal. Everything was tasty, huge amount of options. A lot of unique meats to try. Our server Candice set the bar. Super friendly. Explained the different meats, sauces side, etc. She made a good meal a great one. Hope to return when we're in Vegas again!

Be the first to ReplyOver Charged
While on vacation in Vegas, we went to this little restaurant. The service was ok, there were different waiters asking the same questions, orders were mixed up. Then they charged someone else's order to my card that was a couple of hundred dollars, they fixed it but that didn't stop my bank from putting a hold on my card. Then when they charged the correct amount, supposedly. When I got home I noticed that they added more to the tip that was already given in the amount of $10+. When it was brought to their attention they told me oh our servers wouldn't do that. I sent them the requested information and I have not received a refund or any other communication.

Delicious Korean BBQ in Vegas are a dime a dozen so I HIGHLY recommend against coming to this place.
We called, made a group reservation for 10 people. I asked for 7:30pm the next day and was told on the phone that it had to be either 7pm or 8pm. I said ok, let's go with 7pm. The person on the line asked me if I could call back the next day, an hour before the reservation to confirm that we would still be arriving - no problem, I happily obliged. Then we show up at 6:50pm to check in for the reservation and was told that they needed a minute to prepare - again, no problem. 7:15 rolls around and I check in and was told that the tables weren't ready and that they were waiting for a group to get up. Again...nothing happens so I check back in around 7:25 or so and am told, neither big groups have paid (there were 2) and one of them was the manager's friends so they were not going to bother them. I was then offered two tables that would be separated from each other and was told I needed to decide soon or else they would give up those tables as well. So cool, we decided to accept the split tables. However, as soon as our first grill dishes were delivered, the first big group got up and I asked if we could have the big table now and have our group put back together. I was told "yes, no, yes, no" by FOUR separate individuals. The last individual to tell us no said that it was the "final" decision by their supervisor. I then asked to speak to the supervisor due to the constant back and forth and they told me that the supervisor doesn't speak English well. And then I was told that there was a group of 9 coming in at 8pm that needed the big table and we had accepted our fate. I still asked to speak to the manager and was told "we'll call him on his cell and if he answers, we'll put you on" - of course he didn't answer. And then the second big group gets up and I asked again, "hey can we have that big table now" and was told "we'll look into it but we do have more people coming in". And they never came back to us.
BUT GUESS WHAT?!!! Both big tables ended up sitting only 4-5 people at EACH big table when we had to split up our group of 10 that I MADE reservations for. And was told that the time I wanted wasn't available and that I needed to show up at either 7pm or 8pm. They did nothing but charge us a service charge on top of all of that!
NEVER EVER EVER EVER GO EAT HERE. There are far better Korean BBQ places in Vegas that provide much better customer service. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by MULTIPLE people in one restaurant before. It ruined my meal, and we were charged a service charge for what? Absolute trash.
Best BBQ place in Vegas! Worth the trip from the strip!
We had a large party at the Tiki restaurant next door and ate at this restaurant. They could not be friendlier or more accommodating. One of the most attentive restaurants Iโve ever been to, and genuine hospitality in a city thatโs not always known for it. Everything was delicious! If youโre staying on the strip and looking for BBQ, itโs worth the Uber. If youโve left the strip, you should also hit up Freemont after while youโre out!

I had high hopes for my dinning experience at Hanu, due to all the great reviews online. Unfortunately, my experience wasnโt what I expected. Hanu offers late night dinning until 3am and I arrived at approximately 10:45pm. It wasnโt very crowded and other patrons around me were receiving prompt service, but me and my family had to ask for everything at least twice, from the initial water being brought to the table, to just about every time we requested meats and side dishes. The food was good, but the service was satisfactory.

This was our first time trying Korean BBQ. The wait staff was friendly and helped walk us through ordering and cooking the different meats. Everything we tried was delicious and since it was all you can eat, we were able to try multiple foods.
Be the first to ReplyGreat value, excellent quality
Great restaurant. The manager Christopher is a genius at managing a super crowded restaurant. We went on Christmas day without reservations with a party of 18 and he was able to accommodate us. Highlights include the Argentine shrimp, wagyu rib fingers, rib eye steak, scallops, marinated skirt steak, marinated short rib, housemade Kim chee. So many choices we couldn't try everything. The rib eye was so tender. The servers were super friendly and
efficient. Is this a5 wagyu beef? Absolutely not. Is this a great place to take your family? Totally. Kids under 4.5 ft half off, under 4 ft 8 dollars, and younger children free. Great happy hour. Must try. Best Korean bbq. Best yakiniku. Great restaurant Chinatown Las vegas.
Must try!
My husband and I had dinner here and all we can say is this place is absolutely amazing!!! The meats used in the Hanu sampler are definitely high quality and are very fresh, not cheap cuts of meat. My husband (who is a chef) was very impressed at the marbling of the ribeye and the tender Argentinian shrimp. The Korean side dishes are the freshest I've ever had. I was told the kim-chee is made in-house. I really liked it because you can tell the difference!
Our favorite dish was the special shrimp with Cajun butter... It was so mouthwatering!!! You will only find it here... my husband enjoyed the pork joules .... Yes!! They were so tender!!!
The service is simply outstanding! Second to none... The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and the price you pay is definitely worth it!!! It is an AYCE option but the quality of the dishes are NOT the typical AYCE quality (if you know what I mean). Bottom line - this is THE BEST Korean BBQ we have been to in town.. Can't wait to go back and bring our family and friends to experience it too!!!
