soup and meat was good.
the soup is quite good except that it could be a little more peppery. Meat was also on point. However the meesua doesnt seem to absorb the soup well enough. Not too bad.

Not one of the main stream brands, but we just casually dropped by for dinner and i must say that we were pretty amazed. Huge props for the beautiful decor and adhering to the oriental interiors.
Soup was savoury and peppered style without being overly spicy! the meat was so tender, and they top your soup up automatically. They mix up the sweetsauce and mixed chillis for you, and it tasted great with the rice and meat!
Will be back!
Terrible service, serves water-down barley.
My family and I had just eaten from the sengkang branch, the soup are very cold when serves, and the staff refuses to change/heat it up, the barley are all watered down. If you don't have enough barley water then just say sold out instead of giving out poor qualities food! The manager even tell lies saying it is because they add sugar in it. please la, we have eyes to see la, so diluted like boiled water and it is NOT SWEET AT ALL, so where does the sugar water from? We are very dissapointed. Please investigate thanks.
Be the first to ReplySingapore famous Old Street Bak Kut Teh
The Old Street Bak Kut Teh at NEX and the other outlet at Paya Lebar Quarter are places to visit if you want to eat pork rib soup. The Paya Lebar outlet is next to the Paya Lebar MRT station. The place is crowded at lunch time. You can order claypot rice, bak kut teh, you tiao and soya bean milk. The food is good and the price is reasonable. This is the traditional Singapore food which was very popular in the 1960s.Only Malaysians and Singaporeans patronise this shop as the Europeans do not like bak kut teh.

I visited with my family and they are happy with the food.
The price is slightly above average.
I recommend order their Set Meal A or B or C.
It is not the best Bak Kut Teh I have tasted.
But the place is clean and the staffs is helpful is a plus.
Serving size is reasonable.
Good warm food
Chance upon this outlet in Suntec. Their dry claypot pork knuckle is heavenly yummy, must try. Their bak kut teh is delicious, soup is refillable, service is good. Will definitely come back.

Love the pork tenderloin soup and yiu tiao! Also, nice environment and well equip. Ordering through digital where it's convenient and efficient, esp. peak hour.
