It appears that they're infested with mods and other flying insects. When we first checked into our room, there was a huge moth on the wall and other gnats flying around when we went to complain, we were told that they are aware of the infestation, but there's nothing that they can do the hotel is old, they did change us to another room, but we noticed that they booked somebody in the same room less than 20 minutes later and they never even went in to get rid of the visible bugs. The manager was extremely rude and was mocking the fact that I stated I didn't want to stay in a room with visible moths and flying insects. Not to mention that there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and the bathroom sink was dirty. The hotel is old, and desperate need of renovations and an overhaul on management. This hotel is not a hotel closer to a motel The furnishings are old and scratched up and the pool closed at 5:00 pm. Our first night at the hotel, I spent the majority of that time speaking with managers about their insect problem, getting my room changed and then moving my stuff to a new room. This is not how I planned on spending my vacation.
Be the first to ReplyOverall experience at Horseshoe Las Vegas was good, nothing
Overall experience at Horseshoe Las Vegas was good, nothing special but good. The best part of our visit, for me, was the easy of parking. They have clear signage directing which lane to enter, and then an attendant will come out to help you. When entering the hotel, check-in counters are to the left, and I have to agree with the other Yelp reviews that the wait can be challenging. However, we used the kiosks, which made it easier and faster. The casino is ok. Machines are machines, but the overall feel seemed to be on the older outdated side to me. It was nice that it's connected to Paris Las Vegas, so we walked through and spent more time at Paris than Horseshoe. Also, just walk outside and cross the street at the light to the Cromwell.
Be the first to ReplyClean, remolded and nice.
Avoid the blanco tour though. Too small and weirdly designed. The other rooms are great.

We got a sphere view honeymoon suite room and it was pretty great! The room had all the outlets we could need, an empty fridge, a giant tub... etc, but no microwave in the room which was a let down. The room was clean, the service was good and it was conveniently within walking distance of plenty of activities and amazing food places

Located in the center of the Strip with everything from unique shows to an outdoor shopping plaza. So many different experiences like Dino Safari, Real Bodies, mini golf at Twilight Zone by Monster Mini Golf that is in the dark with black lights. There is also a Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop where you can indulge in a rich and sensational concoction. Definitely a casino you have to check out!!
Be the first to ReplyFor the place and location, this is okay and decent.
I mean you do get what you pay for. It's not as extravagant like the other places. Parking is meh especially when you get stuck in traffic during the hot hours too. They don't have like 5 stars chefs or restaurants here. However, it is a good location with the greats. Easy walk to Paris, Bellagio, Caesars, and Venetian. They got the standard casino, games, and some stores.
Be the first to ReplyStayed at the Horseshoe for EDC since it used to be Bally's.
Rooms were comfortable and large. Staff was overall friendly. They dont have many people working the front anymore, it is all machines to check in and out. If you want to request early check in, that will cost you $40. Bathrooms look renovated. Beds were nice and for its purpose, it did its job.

I stayed at this hotel and was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. The faucet, shower head, and shower handle were all visibly filthy, mold growing on the shelves in the shower, which made me question the overall hygiene standards of the Horseshoe. Additionally, there was dust and built-up grime all over the ground, indicating that they hadn't vacuumed properly for a while. Despite the entertainment downstairs being the one plus, I won't be returning due to the unacceptable condition of the room.
Be the first to ReplyI very much enjoyed staying at the horseshoe.
Other than the pool being closed and the high limit room being remodeled, location wise it was perfect. Just check for availability on their options is the only heads up. Being connected to Paris is also a plus.
Be the first to ReplySpent 10 minutes at Express Check In Kiosk.
Went through everything, and at end said I had to see agent. I get in line. ONE HOUR I spent in line--they had ONLY TWO agents working the "common people" and 8-10 empty stations. This is at 7-8 pm!!! We missed our dinner reservations and was a horrible start to my wife's birthday! Maybe they should take some of their $50 a night "resort fee" and hire some front desk people!! I'll never stay here again!!

They entered our room even though we had left the sign DO NOT TO at the door. So then, a casino ticket that was on top of the table went missing. Definitely not a good experience, we didn't want people organizing our stuff. And yet they did. They didn't take any responsibility for, even if you leave a sign don't disturb, it's not guaranteed they won't enter your room. Horrible experience. Updating: They send me a letter that they won't take any responsibility for what happened. Unbelievable.
Be the first to ReplyRoom was not up to standard.
Dirty walls and outlets not working. Stand up shower only that had doors that when opened hit the entry door. Asked for a room switch and was told sorry all sold out, which I don't believe for one second. Avoid.
Be the first to ReplyOverall, I enjoyed my stay at Horseshoe and would stay
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Horseshoe and would stay again. It's not the most elite and has some obvious issues but the value is great for the location and room size. We arrived pretty early and weren't able to check in so we dropped our bags off and explored the strip. The front desk is pretty much self serve with the exception of maybe one staff member floating around here and there. I was able to check in on my phone while we were put and about and opted for the bellagio fountain view upgrade for about $23/night. The view was decent, but the unfortunate part was the old Bally's building which looks absolutely terrible obstructed some of the fountain view. The room was huge and having an empty fridge we could actually use was great. The bathroom fixtures needed some painting but overall, the room was nice. The location is fantastic, it truly is midstrip and close to all the things. It's big, but smaller than other hotels. We went to a magic show at the hotel and didn't have to walk 6780 miles to get to the theatre. The elevators are really the only inconvenience I felt during my stay. They were extremely slow, stopped at every floor and there was one elevator that was down during the duration of my visit.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I were completely lost after self parking on
My wife and I were completely lost after self parking on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. I had my ankle replaced and am in a walking boot. We obviously missed a turn in the casino and ended up at the Paris hotel. Asking employees at 3 different boutique's I got 1 "I don't know " and 2 other people sending us the wrong direction. We finally backtracked to the elevator and saw a small sign that said Horseshoe with an arrow. All I can say is, when we finally found the registration there were a line of people before us and I couldn't stand much longer on one foot. There were some self check in kiosks that we decided to try. They were a little bit confusing and I asked a young lady if she worked for Horseshoe because we had a few questions about how to check in. Her name tag said "MICHELLE" and "WAS VERY HELPFUL"! She walked us through the whole process! I had already mentioned to my wife let's go to a different hotel. WOW, MICHELLE sure turned our attitudes around! Our room is clean and has a great view of the Sphere and a giant Ferris wheel! Thank you Michelle YOU saved the day and all 5 stars are for YOU! Thanks!!!

We had a wonderful time; however, the hallways needed vacuumed, almost every evening when we returned to our room. We had a cabana that needed dusted and swept, because of the recent windy days, lots of leaves. In the morning, the elevator walls were smeared with I don't want to know.
