I like coming here for tea on special occasions and now they have outdoor seating. You should definitely reserve your table in advance and be advised that you must also pay to enter the gardens, your reservation to the tea house does not get you in t

I love tea. I'm a reviewer comparing this experience to stellar tea services I've had in Boston. The service and menu are shockingly limited for its price point. I was disappointed that we weren't offered to try different teas after fi
Disappointing!
This new "improved" tea room was a big disappointment. The new Tea Room is austere and modern, not nearly as charming as the old one was. It was my friends 1st time and she was wondering what the big whoop was about it. The food was fine,
Honest Review - Don't Go!
Avoid you are European, Australian or from elsewhere and have seen real English high tea. The roses were ordinary looking, not really pretty or special. The tea sets were in pretty, no special ornamental shape, painting or colours. Just bland whit
Expensive and worth every penny!
A real bucket list place to eat. Many fabulous pastries, scones, and finger sandwiches. Indescribably delicious! You get to choose your own tea and since it was over 100 degrees, I had it iced. The waitress even brought me a piece of chocolate cake
No Reason to ever go back

Make sure to book your reservation when the rose bushes are blooming. Note that if you want to go during this optimal window of April and May then reservations are going to be more difficult to get on Open Table. The Tea Service is great to break up
Beautiful experience will come back for sure.
Delicious bite size sweets and savory treats
So disappointed.
Had been so excited to go the newly renovated tea room. It took nearly a year for the reservation. While the inside certainly looked nice, the service was minimal and the food average at best. They didn't even have Lady Grey tea....they had run out
Very disappointing - I loved the OLD Rose Garden tea room.

Good and bad
It was a pleasant experience, the food was good and the tea (Huntington blend) delicious. But it is very expensive and one of the main problems is that "Open Table", the website for reserving a table, DOES NOT WORK. We came and had a table
There's room for improvement
If the Huntington's tea room weren't at the Huntington, I'd give it three stars. I'm adding the extra star because being able to walk around the gardens and galleries before and after tea adds immensely to the experience. I had tea at the Huntington
