Unfortunately Husk was an epic let down. I donβt like bashing peopleβs business, but the food was mediocre at best and inedible at the worst. This is not a representation of southern food and poorly executed. Iβm disappointed in the money we sp

We walked in without a reservation at about 8PM after being turned away at two other restaurants on the same street, and were seated immediately for an unbelievably excellent meal and extremely attentive service. The go-to dishes that night were the

Charming place with a welcoming staff (Leslie was great).
Started with the deviled eggs which have a nice kick and wonderful flavor. My wife and I had never had rabbit so she had the rabbit andouille sausage pasta and I had roasted rabbit gumbo. Both were loaded with flavor and we recommend. Had bourbon and

We arrived and were asked if we would like to sit outside or inside. We chose outside as it was a lovely night. We ordered food and were surprised to find the portions tiny⦠apparently outside is for small bites only? Nowhere on the menu does it sa

This is fine dining and what I believe I saw, was a restaurant not so much worried on flipping tables but worried about delivering a dining experience second to none other. The restaurant is broken up into several dining areas and I noticed sporadic
A Charleston staple for it all.
They know how to do hospitality and service as well as food. Went for Sunday brunch and I had a muffin sandwich with fried egg and delicious bacon and a vinegar med tomato- (never would have thought of adding the vinegar, but it was a home run. Great

Yummmmy food, the menu could be a little more clear on the title of the dish, it's sort of just a list of ingredients (which I can see the appeal of!) but the waiting staff knew what was going on so we just had to ask! I loved the brisket, a lii

Remember when Husk was rated as the No. 1 restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina? That was when chef Sean Brock, a two-time James Beard Award winner, was running the kitchen. Then, in 2019, the 41-year-old Brock decided to pack his cookbooks and wa

The ambiance was wonderful for our party of 9.
The food is kind of pricey. The cornbread was delicious! The scallops were yummy. All of the drinks were great selection to the meal.
We came in for some after dinner drinks and some dessert.
We were completely surprised and blown away by the ice cream. Hands down the best dessert, let alone ice cream I've ever had and I typically do not enjoy ice cream. My husband who usually doesn't eat desserts was also amazed at how deliciou
We were super excited about trying out this restaurant.
On the plus side, it is a lovely house, our server was top notch, the Charleston Dragoon cocktails were delicious, and the cornbread side was great! The music really didn't suit the mood. We relaxed when a couple of nice jazz and blues came on,

Save your money
Kind of crazy overpriced for what you get. Service is good but the taste for the price is not worth it. We tried all the recommendations and nothing tasted worth it. Entrees are $40-$50 minimum and nothing special

I visited Charleston and came here for dinner.
I will say, some dishes were better than others, but overall I enjoyed my experience. Ambiance / Service: from the outside, the restaurant is beautiful. The inside isn't nearly as nice as the outside, but it was still an enjoyable dinner. I wore a

We came here for brunch. Service was outstanding.
Loved the separate house " Lounge/ cocktail bar".
Lily did an amazing job making sure we were comfortable. We made our way to the main house for dinner. Our server was underwhelming as they did not recommend or guide us at all through the menu. The first course took far too long to show up and was
Service was world class ~ food was mostly delicious.
Steer towards the oysters, pork and the pimento cheese and away from the scallop tartare.
So disappointed in Husk.
The restaurant was lovely but we were seated at a table right above the air conditioning vent. The server did her best to help us by putting down some panels to block the flow but I don't want to shiver through my meal. The food was very disappoi

The food and service were great! .
.. but then toss in the summer breeze we got to enjoy while eating on second floor porch made everything that much better!!
The restaurant is very lovely.
Service was great. However, the food was just ok. While our meal was not bad, it left little to be desired. Lack of flavor and seasoning. Chicken was well cooked but bland. Cocktails were good. There are definitely better restaurants in Charleston. O

Delicious food at Husk!
We booked this restaurant months in advance as it has wonderful reviews. It is a fabulous historic home and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the shrimp dumplings in a ham broth for an appetizer, and had snapper for my entree.
