We are visiting from the OC and wanted some good non-resort food. Il Corso was great! We went for lunch, and they have a lot of specials as well as the bar menu (pizza) and full dinner menu. Frank was our server and provided excellent service. Highly recommend - we will be back!
Everything! Food and services & ambience are wonderful.
We would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Delightful supper.
A weekday, late afternoon - comfy table outside - wonderful service - delicious salad with beets and two yummy pasta dishes. We are going back in a couple weeks to share with friends. Yummy!!

Incredible ambiance! Warm welcome and amazing at squeezing us in(even at the bar during the rush)! Great drinks!Delicious, creamy, bringing all the warm fuzzies to contentment!!! We had Caesar Salad, truffle/sausage pasta, Cacio D'peppe, lamb shank arugula/radicco salad. Don't miss this one!
Nice Visit
Nice evening at Il Corso. Pleasantly greeted and taken to our table, then served some nice bread with a pesto type dip. We had salad and two different pasta dishes, all pretty good. Wine a little pricey, but overall very good.
I love Il Corso for it's magnificent Sicilian dishes.
..arancini, grilled calamari, pasta alla Norma so I'm very sorry to have to post anything negative. Tonight someone in our party ordered the spaghetti alla vongole and 1/4 of the clams were bad/unopened. I mentioned it to both our waiter and to the manager who came by at the end of our meal. aside from an apology from the waiter the manager did absolutely nothing to offer any degree of compensation.... not so much as to offer a lemoncello to the affected guest. This is just shocking to a good, repetitive client. Needless to say I will no longer host dinners at Il Corso.
Soooooooooo yummy.
Every SINGLE thing we ordered was great. We stopped by for dinner and had several appetizers, stuffed zucchini flowers, home made sausages, caesar salad... then finished it off with home made tiramisu. And a perfect espresso. What a grate experience. Our server was a sweetheart too. We will be back. A lot!

Highly recommend this restaurant!!! It was a busy night and the manager still was able to squeeze us in at the bar top. Food was absolutely delicious. Every single plate ordered was left empty. Thank you for the great service! All the servers were incredible and checked on us.
Great pizza,cocktails, service and atmosphere! I can't
Great pizza, cocktails, service and atmosphere! I can't believe it took me so long to come here. This will for sure be my new spot to grab a drink and have some yummy bar bites! Omg and the dipping oil for bread is to die for!
Health Code Violations
Let me start by saying that this restaurant is a far cry from anything Italian. In fact, you'd find better authenticity at a fast-food chain. The management here is abysmal, and it reflects in every aspect of the dining experience. The wait staff is poorly trained, lacking refinement, and completely clueless. It's unfortunate to label this as the worst dining experience, but it truly was. We were a group of four and the ordeal started with a tedious wait of 25 minutes just to place our drink and appetizer orders. Another half an hour passed before our appetizers arrived—calamari and bruschetta that were disappointingly subpar. Moving on, we ordered salads while simultaneously placing our entrée orders. The salads never made an appearance, but after an eternity, our entrées were unceremoniously brought to the table. To our shock, the suggestion to hold our filet mignon dishes until the salads arrived was nothing short of absurd. Who in their right mind would hold such delicacies? Opting to forgo the salads, I received my filet, a visually unappealing grey-tinted slab that turned out to be as dry and tough as cardboard. A complaint led to a ludicrous suggestion from the waiter asking me to cut the filet in the middle to get to the juicy part, indicating a severe lack of training and finesse among the staff. Sending the filet back, I settled for Tagliatelle Bolognese, only to experience another appalling surprise—discovering a wire bristle, a few inches long, lurking in my pasta. I was on my second bite when I tasted the hard object in my mouth. It was a terrifying moment, as this could have had serious consequences had I swallowed the metal. Summoning the manager, Ernesto Gonzalez, I displayed the foreign object in my dish. His revelation that it originated from their pot-cleaning wire sponge was beyond unacceptable. Refusing any more food from their kitchen was my immediate decision. The manager's attempt to rectify the situation by offering to remove the dry, tough entrees from my bill and inviting us back for a complimentary meal felt insulting. He should have just comped our current meal. Engaging in a call with Gonzalez a couple of days later, expecting an explanation, led to further disappointment. Instead of addressing our grievances, he became defensive and argumentative, a glaring reflection of the restaurant's leadership. It's evident that the issues here stem from the top down, with Gonzalez failing at his managerial duties. My concerns escalated further as I pondered what other health hazards might lurk within their kitchen. The final straw came when my husband, rightfully outraged, contacted health inspectors, resulting in the revelation of multiple health code violations and a downgrade to a B grade. I have no intention of revisiting this establishment, and I strongly advise against dining here. It's a risk not worth taking, considering the appalling service, unpalatable food, and concerning health standards. You can visit the Riverside County Environmental Health website to see this restaurants violations. TripAdvisor forbade me from posting the link. Adding insult to injury, despite the owner's offer to reimburse the cost of the meal, there has been a conspicuous failure to follow through with this commitment. It's a blatant display of insincerity and further evidence of the disregard this establishment holds for its customers. Such empty promises only serve to deepen the disappointment and reinforce the lack of accountability at every level of this restaurant's operation. It's disheartening to witness such a dismal excuse for a restaurant.
Everything Excellent
I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant and I must say that the experience was unforgettable. The food was simply delicious, with a menu that offered a wide range of culinary options. The wine list was equally impressive, with a varied selection that accompanied each course perfectly. But what really made this evening special was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, courteous and always ready to meet our needs. Without a doubt, a place to recommend to anyone looking for an extraordinary gastronomic experience.
Disappointing experience
I’m a local and have dined and lunched at Il Corso quite a few times but last night was likely the final time. Il Corso is generally a lively place so not quiet but also not terribly noisy. We arrived on time and the couple we were meeting were already seated and the dining room was full. As we started chatting I realized we were all having to shout to hear each other. Then I noticed a wood plank wall on one side of the dining room. I could see light and movement coming from between the slats and then I realized there was a loud voice on an amplifier coming from behind the wall. We asked our waiter about it. He said it was a private party. The restaurant’s management thought it was okay to host a private party with amplified sound that greatly reduced the dining experience and enjoyment of paying customers. It was great seeing our friends so we made the best of the situation. It took a very long time to order as our server was also waiting on a table of 16 customers. When our waiter finally got to us his attitude was surprisingly surly and did not improve over the course of our dinner. The food was okay but not great especially given the steep prices. Wine prices are quite high too - we ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir for $50 and it was just okay. Today we looked up the same wine online and saw it retails for about $8. It will be a long time before we return to Il Corso.
Disappointing experience
My husband and I have dined at Il Corso multiple times. After this recent visit We doubt we will return. When we ordered our meal I specifically asked about the sauce used on the pappardelle norcina pasta. I was told by our waiter that it was a butter sauce, hearing this I ordered it as I did not want a tomato based sauce. My husband ordered tagliatelle bolognese. The pasta arrives and the sauce is a tomato based sauce. I let our waiter know and he says “oh, they must have changed it”. He asks if I would like a different pasta and I chose linguini alle vongole. My husband has almost finished his pasta before my new pasta arrives. I basically eat my pasta alone. In this situation I expected not to have to pay for my pasta as the waiter was wrong about the pasta sauce on my original order. We order coffee and dessert to end the evening. By this time we have been at the restaurant 2 hours. When the bill comes I see that the waiter did not charge us for our cappuccinos. I called the waiter over and explained that i basically ate alone because of his error. He asked the manager and I was told that because I ate my pasta it could not be removed from the bill ($30) but he removed the dessert and cappuccinos ($24). To say that I ate my pasta so he can’t remove the charge?? Well I ate my dessert and drank the coffee but you were able to remove those charges ?!?! So disappointed. The food was good but a bit overpriced for what you get.
