the music on a Saturday night is upbeat. The staff were compassionate and attentive to my service. Thank you again!

I suuuuper want to give this spot a higher score but it's so expensive and most of the food was underwhelming. The frittelle are an easy 11/10, so I'd come here just for those. I had a lemon basil spritzer with Prosecco that was delightful. But the risotto special was underwhelming as was the tuna tartare and the margherita pizza. It's hard to justify spending $200 on dinner when you don't really even want to bring your leftovers home.
Exceptional service and food.
Will definitely come back again to try the rest of their dishes! Antonio or Tonio was the manager I believe and he was awesome, super attentive. Everyone makes you feel very welcomed and warm. Every single dish was seasoned to perfection and flavored beautifully.

My girlfriend and I came for Galentine's dinner and it exceeded our expectations. We ordered Fritelle, Trofie E Polpo, Briscetta, and Brussels Sprouts. Everything was delish!!!! Food was amazing. Everyone from the host to the servers were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

My fiance and I love iTalico, and this past Friday was an especially great visit. We had a reservation but it was a busy night. We did have to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but the host gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco while we waited which was a very nice touch. Somehow even when its busy it is never too loud, we always enjoy the romantic atmosphere. Everything we ate was delicious, I especially liked the Fritelle appetizer and the Gnocchi. Once we were seated our food came out quickly which I really appreciated. We'll be back soon!

The only thing my cousin wanted for his 80th birthday was to spend time in Palo Alto eating at an Italian restaurant he had not been to before. Luckily, I found this wonderful restaurant after a lot of research here on Yelp. Thank God for Yelp. We all had a wonderful time. Our gleeful party of four left the restaurant completely satiated with delicious food and drink. Our waiter, Ricky, was terrific, too. Always smiling and considerate of our special dietary needs. Their heated outdoor patio area is awesome -- VERY nice looking and well constructed. They allow dogs, which is one of the huge benefits I took advantage of, as a dog boarder. My client's Chihuahua was safe, dry and calm throughout.

The best Italian meal I have had in the last 20 years! The pasta specials have been amazing every visit, and they always go great with the recommended wine pairing. The staff is warm and welcoming. Everyone in the restaurant seems to be enjoying their meal and having a great time. It is perfect for team dinners and romantic dates. I will continue to eat at iTalico as my go to place for a great Italian dinner.
Starting with the look of the restaurant itself, the decor
Starting with the look of the restaurant itself, the decor was great. I really enjoyed the contrast of the chandeliers to the wood interior and the glass dividers. The lighting was perfect: not too dim like you'd expect in the evening but not so bright that your eyes burned off. The food was also very good. We had the octopus appetizer, truffle fries and brussel sprouts to start. The octopus was tender and flavorful. The truffle fries were wonderfully thin and crispy with freshly shaved truffles right on top. The brussel sprouts left something to be desired though, it could've used some acid and salt to really round out its natural flavor. But I did really like how crispy it was. For a main course, I had the special tagliolini with truffles and sausage. The sausage had an amazing flavor that was set off by the freshly shaved truffles. My husband had the Trofie, but didn't think too highly of it. The octopus in the pasta was well cooked and the pesto was flavorful. The only downside was the pasta was a little over sauces. Overall it was a good meal.
Overall good pasta and pizza.
The pastas were a bit more unique than your traditional italian restaurant. Highly recommend the gnocchi, the dumplings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was strong in umami from the truffle oil. Pizza was good; the crust was a bit chewy and wet for my taste but had good flavor. Restaurant was full on a Tuesday night, so definitely make reservations if you can!
Waste of money
This was a pretty poor experience all round, beginning with a churlish maitre’d, who couldn’t read our reservation, to a ninety-minute wait for our main courses. I could’ve tolerated that, if the food was decent. The ‘special’ fish was sole(?) or was it the sole of a shoe? $36 for curled up dried-out tiny fillets with three pieces of beetroot and three mini potatoes. Awful. What a disappointment. I will never bother with place again.
Good Italian cuisine and atmosphere
Usually when I'm abroad I never choose Italian restaurants but this time I trusted and I did well! I chose an osso buco and it was very tender and tasty. The seafood pasta I tried was equally well made. Abundant and varied starters. Wine list with Silicon Valley prices, but ok. Then the owner is super cool and surprisingly even sang for us (excellent voice). Nice evening.
Wow 🤩
Wow just wow ! Great food & great service… location on the beach is fantastic…… Nutella desert pizza is to die for ….. 😎
Good place, OK food
Went for Saturday dinner, we had a reservation. After arrival we were promptly seated outdoor (as we went with our dog). Location is good - on California, it was easy to park as there is parking place close by. Service was good and prompt. Food is presented nicely, taste is average (maybe slightly above average, but nothing to brag about). Got veal osso bucco, well no vegetables to be found on the plate (despite a description in the menu), have not come even close to what I experienced in Italy (maybe I have too high bar 😉), despite all this it was tasting well. My wife got fish (special of the day) and said it was OK.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

How to list a Nobu Malibu reservation
Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

I posted a request for a reservation this Thursday between 6:30 and 8 pm and initially the potential seller said it would be fulfilled by today. Now they changed it that they will only fulfill it by 5pm that same day. Basically I would have an hour and a half to get to the restaurant. Is this allowed?

Give the best answerApp
This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
