On the 59th floor of the Four Seasons hotel, which is the tallest building in Philly, you can't get any better views than that. We went at 2.30pm after lunch and before dinner so it was a light bites menu. We got to see 360 degrees view of the city during daytime, sunset and the city lights at night. The elevator up to JG was definitely a ride and an experience. The decor as you enter during the holiday season is just prestigious looking and the interior decor was beautiful, especially with the reflective ceiling mirrors. Now for the food, we had the hash brown caviar, kale salad with salmon, sea trout crispy rice and wagyu cheesesteak spring rolls. The $68 caviar hash brown was good but definitely not with the price. I thought we would at least get a few pieces of hash brown but it was just one small piece. I did like the soft and flaky hash brown but I've never understood the priciness of caviar. The cheesesteak spring roll was good though the meat was rarer than I expected. I'm used to normal medium rare wagyu but didn't expect for the spring roll to have that though. It had a light cheese inside and personally I prefer it that way. It came with a very vinegary tomato chutney type of condiment which was good but I ate that separately instead of combining it with the spring r The kale salad was refreshing and had a light drizzle of dressing. We added the salmon to it and that was cooked pretty well and soft and flakey. The sea trout crispy rice wasn't as crispy but I didn't mind the less crispy texture. The sea trout tasted like spicy tuna but with a stronger flavour. However, I've had better crispy rice tbh. Overall, definitely an experience to have. Reservations are hard to get for lunch or dinner. The downstairs bar area open just after 5pm.
