Savoring Culinary Excellence: A Delectable Journey Through Joel Robuchon
My dining experience at Joel Robuchon was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish showcasing the chef's creativity and expertise. I especially loved the bread and desserts, which were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight to the senses. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, patiently explaining each dish and offering recommendations. Their passion for food and dedication to providing exceptional service truly shone through. It's no surprise that Joel Robuchon has earned three Michelin stars โ the quality of the food and service speaks for itself. I can't wait to return and indulge in another unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Food was not good, i couldn't even eat some of it, plus the restaurant is looking a bit worn with the faded dusty greenery, our bill for 2 with tip was $720 and we felt taken. We felt weird about admitting the food was not good but we have eaten all over the world, so we do have some experience

Wonderful four hour gastronomic adventure. Not for everyone. 13 three star Michelin places in the entire US. (My fourth). New head chef keeps the quality in tact. Excellent warm service. Thoughful dishes, small and interesting. Not a place for a big cut of meat Bread and dessert carts are outstanding, as is the butter and olive oil service. This is an experience, not a meal. Food is personal. Bon Appรฉtit!

My second visit here, first time was better back in 2018. Itโs gone down hill and was kinda disappointing in fact. You can do better for your money.

The best in Vegas our favorite in the world! This might be our 20th time eating here. The consistency is thrilling the service impeccable
Be the first to ReplyA TOTAL SCAM
I am not usually one to write a bad review, but I felt like it was my duty to do so in this situation, with hopes that it'll help someone out there not waste their time or money here. This place is nowhere near the quality and service of a 3-Michelin star restaurant, or any Michelin stars, at that. (I looked up when it received its Michelin stars, and it was 2009. A lot of its other awards were also before 2010. Perhaps the quality was different when Robuchon was alive?) Anyhow, I would not consider the quality of the food and service as fine dining, and I think the worst part about it is how much you pay for it. It is a complete scam. Our server, from beginning to end, made several mistakes - starting with saying "Happy Anniversary" (it was my husband's birthday - but maybe the server was confused since the menu said "joyeux anniversaire"? But did he not know what that meant? I mean, I didn't know what that meant, but it did say "happy birthday" right above it.) I also repeated several times that I had a nut allergy and to let me know if there were items I couldn't have, but he proceeded to recommend items that clearly had nuts anyway. He also would forget what we ordered, then come back to check - only to give my husband an incorrect order anyway, after repeating it to him. Then another server took over and didn't help the situation at all by attempting to justify the other server - "he can't see, and won't wear glasses, and he refuses to write things down." Um, ok? And then the quality of the food itself...some of it was disgusting, and some of it was... just something that would have been passed on a tray at a bad work event. They try to make it look fancy with their presentation, they bring out the bread cart, the dessert cart, whatever... but ultimately, all of the food is pretty meh. And also, the ambiance itself isn't upscale at all. It's pretty tacky, like maybe it was the early 00's. We were seated in what felt like it was supposed to give the feeling of outside? But you're not outside? With fake plants surrounding you? It's very weird. The entire vibe of the place felt really uncomfortable, and I joked that someone must have been murdered there and the ghost was haunting the space. And all of this would have been fine and forgivable if it was some cheap chain restaurant known for low-quality food, but I think the worst part about this place is the fact that they're trying to come off as this fine dining experience that charges an insane amount. After being scammed I googled to find out more, and I found an old YouTube video of the people who run the place saying "you're paying for the memory." I wish I had seen this video beforehand, because what a red flag - if you have to say that, it means your food sucks. And it did. Please don't go here. IT'S A SCAM. And as someone who has eaten at multiple Michelin-star places as well as multiple sketchy places, this is the worst restaurant meal I've ever had in my life.
Be the first to ReplyNot what it was, and even comps poorly to other locations
Over the last 20y this is the 3rd and most disappointing time that I have been here. The hardware, and location in the MGM grand is the same, and fine, but the smallest details, which Joel Robouchon, was insistent upon are now dead. The bread trolley selection, as amazing as ever, but it tasted stale, the bread not warmed up enough, so it was cold in the middle, when served, the 2nd round of bread, served cold. I wanted the guinea fowl dish, but was told of 2.5 hour preparation!, so why not make that warning, that a pre-order is required? Given the fact that I have had this dish prepared in under an hour at other Robuchon locations, makes me dubious, on the words of the waiter. The peaches in the sphere dessert, not quite ripe, and the details issues continue. It was my birthday, so points for a mango sorbet, meringue surprise cake, but to get just a slice, when the a hole cake was presented was a bit strange, and to give something that really couldnt be taken home, was too quickly served, straight from the freezer. For the price, you expect perfection, and this restaurant and staff are far too complacent, living on past glories. So looks like Guy Savoy and truffle and artichoke soup, next time.

Incredible food and incredible service. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Apologies for the prose, but a sea of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of Las Behas
Be the first to ReplyYou spent what? Yes, and I'll do it again.
Three of us dined there for my 60th. My buddy ordered the Vegetarian pre-fix and Village Wine pairings. My wife and I did the full 12 course, she ordered 2 glasses if wine that went well with what she had. with. I had Grand Cru wine pairing. When I read something about people returning food because It wasn't good, especially if you are doing a tasting meal, I say it's on you. The flavors and profiles Unfortunately at times requires The same palate for enjoying extraordinary food as it does extraordinary wines. If you don't like something, sure that's ok, but it doesn't warrent A bad review like what I have seen Especially when you have expectations for everyday food experiences. Anyway, sorry about the rant. The food, the service, and yes that Grand Cru wine experience was worth it and I would do it again. And I will.

One of the best dining experience, hands down! I've been fortunate enough to dine at many Michelin rated and other fine dining establishments and Joel Robuchon is easily the top 2 of my list! Unfortunately my husband and I weren't very hungry and opted for the smallest course, which worked out perfectly as the bread and dessert carts provided us with more than enough food that we can stomach. As expected of a Michelin restaurant, their service was outstanding! There were so many servers handling different tasks, such as one was responsible for solely holding a tray of food while other servers deliver said food. Usually it's the same server handling the food from start to finish. I wasn't expecting too much about the food because not all high end restaurants deliver flavorful food. They may look exceptionally beautiful, but they don't always taste as good as they look. My appetizer was good, not amazing, so I didn't keep my hope up. As soon as I took the first bite of my entrรฉe (Ribeye) however, my taste buds went straight to heaven! It has got to be one of the best... if not THEE best... steak I've ever had! A5 Wagyu be damned! Sure it didn't melt in my mouth like a Kobe steak, but the flavor was extraordinary! Perfectly seasoned with every single bite! No bland piece to be found! My husband's venison dish was flavorful as well but it came second to my steak. The bread and dessert carts were my Achilles heels. I knew not to partake in too much carb prior to dinner but I couldn't resist their selections. The butter was flown in from France and was carved with a spoon tableside. It was just as good as the butter I had when we were in Europe. Very smooth and silky. Although I was stuffed to the max, I had to try some desserts as well. They were just simply too beautiful to the eyes that my stomach couldn't say no to. We had such an incredible experience that we'll be taking the rest of my family here for dinner in the summer. This is truly a place that one must visit in their lifetime.

I would consider myself a well traveled foodie and I have eaten at high quality restaurants all over the world. Joel Robuchon did not disappoint for food quality. However, I was overwhelmed by the price! Iโm good to spend $300-$400 on an excellent meal. But my husband and I each had a three course tasting menu and with drinks our bill was over $700. My appetizer was tiny - a few shaved radishes with some lobster meat between. Four bites. I then had the Scottish venison as my entree. This was amazing!! Beautifully presented. But it was two tiny medallions equaling about 3 oz of meat total. I feel like the amount of food did not equal the price. Taste would be 5 stars but I can only give this place three stars because of the value. Too expensive for so few bites of food.

Iโve been to all the three stars in the Bay Area, and holy cow I love this place. Itโs probably my new #1. To each their own of course, but I loved all the courses, and I have a bias for dessert carts.

I have been to some of the very top restaurants in Europe this restaurant is by far the best. Atmosphere, service, comfort, quality of food, wine list was the most extensive I have ever reviewed. Expensive however not overpriced considering the quality food and wine served. The Master Sommelier was absolutely the most knowledgeable approachable comfortable educational ever. I have been 3-star Michelin France, Germany Spain Austria this by far better. Just incredible experience. We will be back and often!!!!!
Be the first to ReplyJust do it!
If you have been to other Joรซl Robuchon restaurants, you will be very happy with the Vegas one as well. I've had a lot of their "main course" & "tasting menu" but one word of advice, go in starving to death and you will still leave like a fat King! Sometimes you must enjoy the finer things in life and treat yourself. Just do it. I'm not going to go on about the different servings, as this would never affect my decision on eating at a fine restaurant. Also, remember, any Joรซl Robuchon restaurant will need months in advance reservations. It's worth it though. We ate there twice this trip.
Be the first to ReplyBe careful of the sommelier!!
In my opinion you need to be careful of the sommelier. If you don't know wine and aren't familiar be very careful ordering. They will give you a big book with a list of wines and they put a brand name ie. Krug near the bottom at about 350 a bottle but then there's a much more expensive bottle( also Krug) at the top so if you ask for the lower one he will quickly close the book and then bring it a bottle of Krug (the more expensive one) and if you haven't taken a careful look at the label you won't know which one it is. Then the bill comes and the bottle turns out to be $1500 instead of $35. It's an old trick they use in places like Rome or Barcelona but you wouldn't expect it in a place like this. Disappointed they decided to resort to these tactics to repair their bottom line after the shutdown. BE AWARE!!!

I was there for a business meeting and the food was just as good as I remembered it. The service was also excellent.

Really really amazing food and experience, the 12 course tasting menu was out of this world. Some really nice touches that made the evening extra special. Would throughly recommend.
