Good cuisine, friendly service, worth mentioning in Michelin
Nice, but noisy setting. Original dishes, worth a mention in Michelin. Very friendly service and good food. We took the suggested menu with matched wines. Open kitchen.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food in a great atmosphere
Great place! Great food with very friendly service. We recommend the 4 daily specials with the 4 wines. Everything goes together wonderfully. Make sure to make a reservation as the place is very small
Be the first to ReplyCozy and family restaurant
Cozy place. Intermediate course concept where you have to take 3-5 dishes. Two dishes and a small dessert are enough. You also get bread and snacks. Adequate level of service, cozy venue with sensible sound level. The champagne was good, not turned down for us. The rooster as well as the trout were a hit. Everyone in the party was satisfied.
Be the first to ReplyMid-course adventure
The restaurant follows the new Swedish fashion that you can no longer eat a 3-course menu, but that instead there are a number of "intercourses". We wanted a glass of bubbly as an apรฉritif, but the only sparkling that was available was a mediocre and very rejected champagne. Tip: There are bubble resealable caps that work great! Honorable that the restaurant does not, like many others in Stockholm, pirate French cuisine with meager results. A "cassoulet" had nevertheless slipped into the menu. However, it was not a cassoulet at all, but rather a kind of lentil stew, so why not write it? The ox cheek, however, was excellently tender, but oh so vanishingly small. Fish in general is easily overcooked and dry, and the minimal entree format made the piece of cod extra dry. "Dessert Rum raisin, almond, pith, ice cream & vanilla" consisted of a few yellow raisins, completely without rum flavor, sprinkled over a tiny piece of ice cream. There was no almond or "marrow" (whatever that is) to be seen. And the prices were not exactly moderate (moderรฉs) as they should be to qualify for Guide Michelin's Bib Gourmand ..

Friendly staff. All dishes were well composed and very good. Good wines. Small, pleasant restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Recommend to visit!

Gets expensive if you want to get full, smart concept. The food was far from a pleasure in terms of taste, but it seems to be more about concept and appearance that count. The food was cold. The char was a dry story in an almost tasteless broth. The rooster was good though with lovely creamy sauce. Savoy cabbage ok but pork cheek not fun. The flavors simply don't fit. It was only tourists the night we were there. Says quite a lot.
Be the first to ReplyHonestly not recommended. Unfavorable quality/price ratio.
If you want to eat here you must consider taking the 4-course menu (615 crowns) to eat a meal that is quantitatively normal because the courses are very small. Unfortunately, not even the quality of the dishes we ate was exciting... We took a plate of potatoes and one of meat or fish, thinking that we would eat them together and instead we received and ate the small plate of potatoes first and then the meat or fish. (maybe because the table and the room in general are very small?). Upon our request for 4 "additional" pieces of bread, the price was 160 crowns (butter included). In Stockholm you can eat better and at lower costs.
Be the first to ReplyVery expensive for what it delivers
Very expensive for what it delivers. Super small dishes (not medium, as advertised), not great flavor. Service was super confusing (a single person) and rushed to the restaurant's proposal, despite the goodwill and extreme friendliness of the waitress.
Be the first to ReplyA Wonderful Dinner
A very intimate fine dining experience. I went here while on my recent trip to Stockholm and it was by far my favorite meal of the whole trip. The food was excellent. I got four dishes and all four were incredible. The fish dishes were especially impressive. Don't skip out on their bread and smoked butter either! The setting is small and intimate, so you get to see the chefs creatively preparing your food. The service was also top notch. I would love to come here again next time im in Stockholm!
Be the first to ReplySmall smart and cool
Excellent and cosy find. Delicious and expertly made small dishes, contemporary twist on traditional Swedish ingredients. We had the surprise set menu of four dishes - highly recommend, great value. Wonderful friendly staff. Only about 28 seats in total, 8 at the bench overlooking the chefs at work which I would highly recommend - ask for it when you book.
Be the first to ReplyNice dinner in a cramped atmosphere
Four course surprise dinner with small size portions was ok but dessert was missing from the menu. The tastes were good but the dishes were all quite similar. The separate dessert was a small disappointment.

Be the first to ReplyNice late dinner
We have tried the place during our long weekend in Stockholm. Tou can eat late here, open till midnight on Saturday. The menu was nice, especially the venison and the onion soup was special.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic evening
Loved the vibe and the food was amazing..I think I was very lucky to get a table, as it is very popular, I love the friendliness of the Swedish people, and they make it very easy for some of us british that can't speak any other language. Got speaking with Swedish people on next table, you are very welcoming and lovely x Very very close for a michelin star xx Thank you everyone, especially the chef and waiting staff also the couple sat next to me x

Amazing dining experience at Kagges - highly recommend the tasting menu with wine pairing. If travelling solo or with a partner. I would recommend sitting on the bar. Staff were very friendly with the chef even stopping by to hear my thoughts on the dishes
Be the first to ReplyAvoid this place
This restaurant was a major disappointment. The room is so small it was difficult to move around. The coat check did not have an inch of space so I had to sit with my coat, scarf and hat on my lap. Our table was literally in the entrance way flanked by two other tables which were less than 5cm away from ours. When we started to look around for another seating option the waitress immediately attacked me before I had even opened my mouth with a request. She told me โ there are no other, tables, they have all been bookedโ. My answer to her was we too had booked a month ago. She then proceeded to give a couple who walked in after us a decent table at the window with more room! I was hoping the food would help to redeem the situation but sadly all the dishes were served luke warm, two dishes were so salty I couldnโt eat them and all portions were so minuscule we left hungry! One waitress came to our table twice eating something, which was unreal. We could not wait to pay and leave. Unfortunately this place is trying to squeeze as many heads in as possible at the expense of the food, the ambience and the overall experience. Stockholm has so many amazing places to eat, donโt waste your time and money going here.

The portions are small - as expected, since you need to take 3 to 4 per person, around 150-200SEK/portion. From one choice to the other, it can go from very tasteful and original to just average. It takes forever to get your plates, likely 20 to 30mn between each, so youโd better not be the kind of person who loses appetite due to that. Wine is not up to a place thinking of itself as being high end. The waitress seemed pushy so we ordered more - but we were simple not ready to wait an extra half hour. At this price tag, much more is expected.
Be the first to ReplySophisticated comfort food
The restaurant was exactly what I hoped it to be! I felt like I was invited into the chefsโ private kitchen. The waitress was friendly and helpful too. They all made me feel welcomed, which was nice since I was traveling alone. They recommend the tasting menu and it EXCELLENT! The chefs checked in on me and explained what they had prepared. The food had a unique styleโฆ almost sophisticated comfort food. Would strongly recommend.

The food is absolutely fabulous but the portions are Ethiopian in size. Total food for 4 courses might be 2 ounces. The steak was easily 1 ounce max. The service if you spoke Swedish was great, if not you will be lucky if your plates are removed. We went to MacDonalds after to eat because we were hungry. Definitely overpriced for the portions. Too bad, the food was really good. We paid $230 Krona and were hungry for two afterwards.
Be the first to ReplyCute and cosy atmosphere
This restaurant had a cute and cosy atmosphere, itโs not particularly large. The staff are really friendly and more than happy to help with food recommendations.
We chose the chefs 4 day choice which was the perfect amount of food and all our courses were delicious.
The prices were reasonable and so this is definitely somewhere Iโd recommend visiting
