Group of 10 Sunday dinner
Dined as a family of 10, celebrating grandpa's birthday. Service was professional, very friendly and prompt. Food was excellent especially crab meat tofu, oatmeal pork, San Lao. We will be back. We are grateful that they were happy to help with bday cake cutting and taking photos too.

Totally terrible experience.
How can this ever be a Michelin before!? What a scam. Fish soup was totally bland and tasteless. Overpriced food. Lousy atmosphere. So hot and stuffy and aircon was not even cold itโs as if Aircon was not even existent. Even I can cook better fish soup than here. Seriously. Donโt bother giving here a try. Not worth every penny.
Soup like collagen
We really like the sliced fish and the fish fillet beehoon soup. Tasted very healthy yet flavourful. We saw people eating zichar and it looks good too

Food standard has dropped. The sliced fish soup noodle
Was terrible. Fishy smell and diluted broth. I canโt understand how the standard has dropped so much. Rest of the dishes are ok but nothing to shout about
Very good
Very good food. Servings were quite large and at reasonable prices. The prawn rolls were particularly tasty.

Great food and atmosphere, attentive wait staff, fish soup is fantastic as usual, as was the ha jeong chicken

Came here for lunch after being overseas for a number of years, this place standard has dropped drastically and still riding on its reputation. This place is basically known for its fish soup and prawn paste chicken when I was eating here during my working years in the CBD. Order the fish soup and prawn paste chicken, zero marks for the fish soup, soup is not robust, aromatic and had a fishy smell. The fish is not fresh, thank goodness the chicken still had some maintain some decency.

First time visit to the restaurant as heard so much about the food.
Restaurant is located within the NUS Medical Alumni. For parking, visitors to restaurant are allowed to park on site.
The restaurant is clean, comfortable and with simple layout.
We ordered both the Dry Ho Fun and soup version, their signature pork strips, fried chicken, Goh Hiang (Prawn Cake) and top up with ToFu (Bean Curd) and vegetable.
Most dishes tasted good, except the soup Ho Fun which was a let down. Lots of fish slices, but not tasty. I would come back again, but the soup Ho Fun is a no no.
Ok food with rude service
Visited this place after hearing good reviews about the fish soup. It was a tasty, no-MSG added soup with a reasonable amount of fish for the price, but it was not served hot enough.
The service from the female staff (especially the young female) was horrible, there was not a smile on her face from the moment we entered, all the way until we received our change from her.
We found a strand of hair in the tofu dish, and the older female staff took it away without a word and with a frown on her face. A replacement dish was served later on by the younger female staff who dropped it on our table without a word as well. It totally spoiled our appetites.
The elderly male staff was helpful and nice, though.
Overall, would not recommend unless you want your dinner spoilt by rude service.
A blast of the past...almost
Good home cooked food....the fish noodle signature dish is still good but not like the past....soup did not have enough ginger flavour. Sweet and sour pork was good..but the har Cheong chicken was dry. Bitter gourd spare rib extremely oily. Overall, above average.
