Service was incredible, how can they stay in business with
Service was incredible, how can they stay in business with such bad service. We ordered from 4 or 5 different wait staff and not a single order made it in. Had to order everything 2 or 3 times because we'd wait 20 minutes before asking if anything was coming. They said no and asked us what we wanted after we waited 20 minutes. And this was multiple times. Worst service I've ever seen. They took two orders of fries off the bill because they knew the service was bad. We didn't even ask for anything off and didn't mention bad service. At one point, one of the waitresses asked us how long we'd been waiting since we ordered. I lied and said 2 minutes but it was more like 22.

Kiki's is one of those rare trendy spots that feels more
Kiki's is one of those rare trendy spots that feels more cozy than pretentious, and while the food was a bit underwhelming, it makes for a good downtown date night. We went out of our way to visit this spot located in an old Chinese storefront within the nebulous borders of Dimes Square, and although packed, were happy to find a seat at the bar located in its second dining room across the street. Although arguably one of the city's most buzzy spots, the interior is hardly hip, and instead reflects a homey, lived-in Mediterranean vibe. We started out with a huge, medieval jug of their chilled white, and then settled on dinner. We started with their tzatziki and horiatiki, followed up by Greek potatoes, honeyed saganaki, and gigantes bean stew. Everything was fine, if not a bit straightforward, but nothing I couldn't get from most Greek taverna-style restaurants elsewhere. Regardless, the buzzy, young atmosphere makes this spot a scene.
Stupid Terrible service.
Greek is greatttt. Culture: balance Thrive always..... hahaaa
Had a nice lunch at Kikis, which I had been meaning to try
Had a nice lunch at Kikis, which I had been meaning to try for some time. Two people shared Tzatziki, grilled octopus, and Imam Baildi (eggplant with peppers) and it was a good amount of food. The tzatziki was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The octopus was very lightly grilled and moist. I prefer octopus to be a little bit more charred, but Kiki's lightly grilled preparation is probably more authentic. My favorite dish of the meal was the Imam Baildi, which was eggplant with peppers on top and dusted with cheese. I am not a huge fan of eggplant generally, but it is so good in this dish and the tomato sauce and peppers pair very well. In terms of service, the resturant was full including the bar seating, and the two servers were obviously not able to keep up with all of the tables. I felt this was unfair to both the customers and the servers, who I am sure would get better tips if they were able to provide standard service. I hope someone was just out sick that day and that Kiki's doesn't routinely understaff lunch service.
My go to Greek spot in the city! Such a gem in the LES.
The ambiance is great and they're almost always packed. So make sure to reserve before going.
Loved that Kiki's on the outside feels like one is entering
Loved that Kiki's on the outside feels like one is entering a print shop. The decor is minimalist but has a lot of character. We went on a busy Saturday night and got great service. The octopus for starters tasted great. So did the lemon potatoes . The zucchini chips were a tad too oily. Don't get the house red even though it's priced great ($26 for a 1L carafe). For mains we got the lamb and branzino. They tasted okay, nothing that would bring me back here except maybe for the vibe.
I went with a couple friends, one who had been here before.
It is hard to recognize since the sign above the place is left over from the previous business. I really enjoyed the food here, their spanakopita (feta, spinach puff pastry) is so so good. The place is super cramped so beware of that, but its great for a late night meal before you continue on with your night in LES/Chinatown. Every dish seems very authentic, and the flavors are rich and delicious. I would love to come back and try more dishes!
Greek in NYC 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

As a Greek American I can proudly say this is my favorite
As a Greek American I can proudly say this is my favorite Greek restaurant. Everything either tastes like home or has a new twist on a classic dish and I love it. Affordable and cozy. Fantastic service for a crazy packed place. Worth the wait if you have to but my table of 4 sat no problem at 6pm
The food was amazing.
The tzatziki and eggplant dip were so fresh and delicious. They go perfectly with the pita chips. The Greek salad was simple but fresh and was a perfect addition to the meal. The saganaki was so good. A combination of savory and sweet, but if you're not a fan of cheese, I would avoid it as it is very cheesy. The lamb chops were amazing! Very juicy and soft and not gamey at all! The space was bigger than it looked from the outside and is very casual. It would be good for larger groups and even small groups. The service was amazing, and they were very attentive, especially to our allergies. Would definitely visit more!
Kiki's
I was introduced to Kiki's about a year ago by my most artsy-fartsy friend. I hate that term but struggled to come up with something better that gets my point across. He is also the friend that takes more pride in his food choices, and genuinely thinks he has better taste than most everyone on the planet, maybe in the solar system. But in fairness he does rarely miss so... I'm rambling. Locking back in. I met him at Kiki's and really just was struck by the energy that hits you right when you walk in, or even near this place. It's a youthful energy in the best way possible. People are eating outside, laughing, smiling, and seemingly just enjoying life and their presence in here. That discreet corner where Orchard and Division meet is magical. For food, that Mama's oven roasted chicken is actually life changing. It is cooked to perfection and fell off the bone, served with lemon potatoes in a sauce that was to die for. At $16 I'm putting it in my inflation buster category, as the portion size is easily enough to split with someone, unless you're a big dawg like myself. The Marousalata salad is one of my favorite salads I have had in the city. Since popping my Kiki's cherry wit Mr. Artsy Fartsy, I have been back 5+ times. Kiki's was my introduction to Dimes Square, and I have since fallen in love with it. The only place in NYC that I feel challenges East Village as a cultural mixing pot layered with character is Dimes Square. I adore it. The mix of people who are flooding with creativity and simultaneously being absolutely nutso is really unmatched. My favorite kind of people. It's not worth the wait and the treatment.
Frankly, a very despotic and arrogant treatment. They do not accept reservations and there are queues. They made us wait a long time and the treatment was very unprofessional. We went at 9 at night and without having booked option B, so we decided to stay despite the deal. but they passed people in front of us without any criteria. Not worth it.
amazing food but worst service ever!
food delicious and decent prices but the service was extremely bad!!! never seen anything like this in my life anywhere. i was in shock. extremely rude, zero welcoming and a bit assholey. michael and the red headed girl horrible they should not be working there or anywhere with that attitude! the only nice one was the hostess very nice and amazing attitude and service.
