The farm-raised salmon was awful
The salmon was pale, almost white and so I knew it was farm-raised. It actually had a muddy taste which I could not eat. I am feeding it to the birds. What a waste of $29 plus tax.
Be the first to ReplyGreat sushi, convenient locations!
Ko Fusion has great sushi, as well as stir fry, and we really love their dumplings. The location near campus is great for students and offers dollar sushi. Really food for the price.

Be the first to ReplyKo Fusion Downtown Champaign - One of the Best!
Highly recommend this restaurant after our experience on Monday night. Our server, Nick, was a true professional and one of the best servers we have ever had, anywhere. His knowledge of the menu and his recommendations were spot on. We will definitely return and ask for Nick again.
Be the first to Replywow- cant wait to come back!!
stopped by on a friday evening around 4:00-they do have their own parking area-when walking in the place takes your breath away-so ultra modern and sleek and shiny-were greeted instantly and taken to our table-we were greeted by our waiter who has a personality that is unreal-so pleasant, mannerism was out of this world-he was like a trainedprofessionall waiter-his name was aaron k. we have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and never had anyone that was as good as he was-started out with a margarita which was super-i ordered the dol sot bi bim bob with pork belly-the bowl is huge and was to die for-i was so full but could not stop eating because it was so good-wife had the tofu stir fry and it also was a very big bowl-she said it was excellent-we live over an hour away and we cant wait to come back to champaign to eat at ko fusion again-this was probably our most enjoyable meal from start to finish that we have ever had-again thanks aaron k. for making it a great afternoon for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Panang Curry!
We stopped by randomly as we were passing through Champaign. I was shocked at how amazing their panang curry was. It was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. My daughter had the ramen and loved the entire dish.
Be the first to ReplyQuality of delivered food is not on par with expectations
We frequently order sushi delivery from Ko Fusion and for awhile there it was always fresh, always on point and always high quality. Lately, however, the food quality has really gone down. What once used to be nice fat rolls, fat slices of fresh fish and an overall care for delivering a good experience even at home has taken a turn for the worse. The last three times we've ordered from them the rolls have been small, the fish sliced as thin as one might expect at an all you can eat sushi buffet not a 5 star restaurant and they never deliver chop sticks, soy sauce, wasabi, etc. most of the time even when you expressly order it (and, frankly, these are staples of sushi and should be included anyway as they typically are anywhere else). I gave them three shots to keep me from writing this review but after the most recent delivery (last night) I just couldn't let it go any longer. I will not be ordering from them any more because the quality has dropped so drastically. Even their unagi sauce, which they did deliver, was so watered down with soy sauce it wasn't even unagi sauce any more but a slightly sweet soy sauce. Very disappointing. Spent over $150 and didn't even get a chop stick, much less the size and quality of sushi I'd come to expect from Ko Fusion in the past. I don't know what they're doing differently, but if they want to earn my business back they need to do a 180.
Be the first to ReplyFood tastes good. Really,
Food tastes good. Really, really good. Like really good. And the service is really good too. You won’t regret it.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice restaurant and lunch
This was actually our 2nd time visiting Ko Fusion. This time was just as good as the 1st. We were seated right away. I had the stir fry and they were nice enough to customize it by eliminating some things from the meal. Everything about it was good. The rice, beef, vegetables, and sauce all tasted great! My wife had sushi and loved every bit of it. We also had the cheese curds to start off the meal. They were a little different than most.....they were light, with jalapenos and scallions. Also came with a spicy sauce. The service was great. Plenty of menu options so I will definitely go back.

Our first time eating out at a restaurant since the covid pandemic began, over a year ago, was well rewarded. Friendly and engaging servers and staffers made the
dining experience a treat. Very nice neo-asian decor ser the tone for a wonderful delicious dinner. All of her sashimi was perfectly fresh and the flaming tempura roll took my breath away. This is what we got vaccinated for! Boffo!
Best Panang Curry Chicken
This is a great dish. I love it as take out and always enough for two meals! When the sauces soaks up into the rice......ummmmm......
Be the first to ReplyNice lunch
My wife and I stopped here for lunch while traveling through town. This was a great unexpected meal. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and nice. My wife got a sampler of sushi and loved all of it. She just wished they had been labeled so she would have known which ones she was eating. I got beef stir fry. This was very good! The beef was tender and the sauce and rice and veggies were full of great flavor. They give you a nice sized portion too. We also got the tempura friend cheese curds and they were very good. we didn't have any drinks, but based off of this meal I will definitely go back. The only problem is finding parking, but that's minor.
Be the first to ReplyAlways Delicious
Had lunch yesterday with a friend and was not disappointed... Never disappointed with the quality of food, service, menu options, etc. KoFusion is one of CU's best venues for food, ambiance, service, etc. Will always return for a great meal.
Be the first to ReplyNot the place that it used to be
My family, friends and I have eaten at KoFusion for both lunch and dinner for many years. Of all the sushi restaurants, KoFusion has been our go-to. So for my son's 21st birthday it was no surprise where he wanted to go to celebrate lunch. Our waiter Aaron was truly amazing and went out of his way to accommodate us from frequently filling our drinks (water) to the sushi we ordered. I had ordered the buffet and planned on also eating the sushi rolls we would order. Much to my surprise though, the buffet was a total disappointment. We were 2 of around 10 people in the restaurant, (@11:30am) however, the sushi on the buffet (jalapeño poppers that day) was rarely filled. When a small plate did come out, there were 10 people also anxiously waiting to enjoy, so very little came my way. I believe I got 2 pieces! Understanding that the buffet was not going to meet my expectations of our visit, I began to look forward to the 2 Chicago rolls 1 big roll and 1 volcano roll that my son and I ordered. Unfortunately, the Chicago roll came out and after eating several, we both noticed the fish was raw which has not been the case in any of our previous visits and not stated that way on the menu, so we chose to not finish the roll. When the big roll came out, which is my son's favorite, it would have been better called the little roll! I remember the days where you couldn’t fit the big roll in your mouth but for this visit, they were the size of a half-dollar. Our bill came to $77.48 which because our waiter was amazing, we tipped him $20 so it came to $97.48. As for the quality of our visit, I believe this will be our last. Understanding from our past experiences that we have truly enjoyed spending our hard-earned money at your establishment, makes this visit of spending $100 for lunch on two people very hard to swallow and why I felt the need to send this email.
