We came for my birthday dinner.
The portions were generous and our appetizers (halloumi and something else) and my seafood rice entree were also delicious. Unfortunately my fiancé's chicken was dry as a bone. Seafood may be the play here. Service and ambience were both great, but they didn't do anything for my birthday, even though my fiancé had put in a note when he made the reservation and we saw three other tables get candles and in some cases, a birthday song. It wasn't a big deal at all, but it was amusing trying to see if a candle would make way to our table.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Greek food in a fun atmosphere.
Greek sparkling wine was very nice. The decor is well done, bravo.
Be the first to ReplyHad to wait 45 min for our 9:30 reservations on a Friday.
But honestly, service was superrr quick as soon as we got seated and the atmosphere + energy had us forgetting the wait immediately. Steak kabobs & spanakopita was delish! Efcharisto Kyma!

Amazing food and great ambiance! I highly recommend it to everyone! Josh was great with our service!
Be the first to ReplyI'm giving this place 3 1/2 stars.
A place for the vibe not the food. Ambiance is great, lot of younger crowd , very lively especially towards night time. Theres two levels but downstairs is reserved for bigger parties. There is a big bar upon entering the restaurant and lot of people were hanging out around there. If you are coming for a table of 2 be prepared to be sitting very close to another party.. can practically be in their conversation as well. Now lets get to the food... ordered the tuna and salmon tartare, greek salad, zucchini chips, and trio dip for appetizers. They bring you pita bread on the house which is just ok. It was a bit too dry for me and could have used more seasonings. The tartare was just ok too.. it needed some of sort of crisp or chip on the side in my opinion. Greek salad was fresh and tasty. Zucchini chips were also just ok, they lacked seasonings and the fried feta that came on the side wasnt good at all. The tzatski sauce is delicious however. The trio dip with spicy feta/tzatski/skordalia was delicious and flavorful. For the main I got the seafood youvetsi which was priced at $44. I am not sure why you're paying $44 for barely any seafood. The mussels were so tiny and so were the clams.. there was barely any meat.. some were the size of a penny and smaller. I believe there was 2 or 3 shrimps on top and they tasted just ok.. however i did like orzo, it was also mixed with a small amount of crab meat. For dessert, ordered the baklava and i did like it but Ive had better.. Overall the food was very mediocre especially for the price you are paying. The vibe of the place is nice and thats what youre mostly paying for. So if youre a foodie, you wont be too pleased.

Super fun spot with delicious food! My group had an 8:30 reservation and we were seated just after 8:45. Top dishes were the seafood orzo, spanikopita, and halloumi. Service here is good and slow, in a good way because throughout the night the lights got darker and music got louder and finally at about 10:30 it turned into a whole party! Sparklers were passed around and napkins thrown in the air as guests danced around. Truly felt like I was transported to greece! It was such a great spot for a group night out for any age, just note that the later it gets the more rowdy the ambiance is.

Did the bottomless brunch with a large party of 20, had to register online. Was a rough process getting responses from the event manager so that was what threw me off the most. The other Kyma locations had fast response times for getting a party event going tho. The food was Aii pita bread was valid, branzino was Aii, chicken was dry but the 2 hour limit for the drinks was valid. Overall food was like a 6/10 , online booking was like a 2/10, drinks 8/10 . Decent spot I guess
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambiance, music and food.
Would definitely come back. Thank you for a memorable evening

Amazing decor, attentive staff, great portions, and good food. I've been for birthday brunches and a mellow weekday lunch. I love how much variety their bottomless brunch menu has.

Exceptional service and food! It was my first time at Kyma and was celebrating my birthday. They paid attention to one special request I had and the surprise baklava with candles for dessert made me feel truly special. Every staff member I interacted with was wonderful and very attentive. I had a fabulous experience and will be going back.

Pre-concert & with no reservation, we rolled up to Kyma's bar and perfectly timed at happy hour. The two people at the bar were AMAZING! I am very sad I didn't get their names but they were FAB! A gentleman & beautiful young lady took great care of us. We ordered drinks & ordered happy hour menu appetizers for dinner. BEST DECISION EVER!!! We ordered the pikilia, tomato salad, spanakopita, avgolemono & the sesame feta... everything was phenomenal. The sesame feta was one of the best things I've ever had & the vibe was amazing. The restaurant was lovely and I only saw the ambiance of the dining area in my way to the restroom (which was also lovely & clean). No regrets here people, we had a 10 out of 10 rating at the bar. Great service & FANTASTIC food. Thank you to the lovely mixologists that made our evening perfect!

Gave away our table. Never coming back. Also worst martini I've ever had
Be the first to ReplyThe food, service, ambiance, and music were all incredible.
This was my first time going to Kyma and I will definitely be back soon.

I came here on an online date and I think the entire situation made me uncomfortable because I think both tables to each side of us could tell it was a first date and I feel like my date was edgy and kept saying ridiculously inappropriate stuff and I feel like everyone could tell I was a nerd in over his head.As for the food, I thought the tuna tar tar and haulomi were amazing but I thought the pastichio spring roles and the rib eye were not that good. The rib eye was not a great piece of meat, literally couldnt cut it (I got medium rare).I went to the Hudson Yards location once before and thought the food was incredible so its possible we didn't order well.
Be the first to Reply3.5 rounding down to 3. With how high end this restaurant
3.5 rounding down to 3. With how high end this restaurant is, I was expecting better. I tried the halibut risotto and it was nothing special and if anything it lacked salt and any other kind of seasoning. Wish I could've had a better review because the service was great and the ambiance is beautiful.
Be the first to ReplyI've walked passed this restaurant for years and never came
I've walked passed this restaurant for years and never came in...until today. This is a greek restaurant. Upon walking in, you can smell the seafood. Absolutely divine. Not an overpowering smell, just enough to let you know they make it and season it well. The decor inside is very beautiful. Neutral colors, whites, browns, tans, etc. It all goes together very well. I ordered from the prefixed menu. For appetizer i got the beet salad. Super delicious. The beets had this weird coffee/chocolate taste. The first two pieces were good but after that, i was over the beets. The arugula was delicious. The salad was topped with feta cheese and pomegranates which were my fav part. The salad also had these thick slices of onion which aren't pickled or put in warm water to kill the spicy kick or overpowering onion taste. Everytime i ate one, my eyes watered and the onion taste killed my taste buds. Overall this salad was okay. For the main course, i asked for the chicken kebab. It comes with chicken pieces on a stick (2) with salad, pita, fries and tzatziki sauce. I didnt get a greek salad, instead i was given the same arugula salad i already had but with tomatoes. It was seasoned so i loved it regardless. The chicken was tasty, not dry or too charred from the grill. The fries were good. Some absorbed the tzatziki sauce and salad dressing but that just made it even more delicious.I think the $30 prefixed lunch is a steal. With how ridiculous food prices are right now, i think this is a great deal. The service has been pretty good. Upon entering the restaurant, the host walked me to a table right away. The front of the restaurant seemed a little empty but once taken to the back, there were 6 tables occupied, three of which had five or more people. So it was pretty lively in the back. I wish i would of sat at the bar. I possibly would of gotten quicker service. I noticed that my waitress WAS the bartender. Which had to have been difficult for her. I feel that she shouldn't of had to handle the bar and tables, thats alot of pressure. And also leaves the customer, like myself, waiting for service when she was slammed at the bar, not cool.My food was delivered by a food runner to my table. He was also picking up the plates from the tables and cleaning them up, etc. After ordering my food, i didnt see my waitress again until i got the check. The table runner did come and check on me but not the waitress. I also wasnt asked if i wanted another beverage, nothing. I ended up asking the runner to pack my food to go. The waitress then came by and asked if everything was ok. I asked for the check, paid and left. I dont think i would be back here. Simply because i am always looking for a restaurant i can be in and out of within an hour, because i am on my lunch break. I got here at 1:08pm. I didnt get my main entree until 1:40pm. I rushed to eat what i could but had to take my food to go. So that was a bummer. The service could be better but it wasn't the worst. The food was tasty but i wanted more. Overall, okay place for a visit. Come with enough time so you won't have to rush.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is truly a blast.
I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday and a friend of mine recommended the party brunch at Kyma. Didn't take much convincing on her part for me to make a rez....what 30 year old isn't a sucker for brunch?? Kyma runs a party brunch the last Sunday of each month. This isn't your average brunch. There's a DJ, people playing instruments, sparklers, napkin tossing, and standing on the furniture is not only allowed but encouraged. There were 9 of us in my group and we had the best time. The food was tasty, the service was wonderful, and the entire staff was kind and attentive. This was a great experience and definitely worth the price. The bottle service was on point and all the food came out piping hot. Everyone was here for a good time - the crowd was lively and fun. I really want to come back for dinner. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun brunch in the city.

Came here for brunch on Sunday with family & the food was delicious! Ordered calamari, sesame feta & kyma chips (zucchini & eggplant) to start then entrees. I really enjoyed the sesame feta, it was warm inside too - haven't had something like that before so it was a nice surprise!
Be the first to ReplyWent there to see the best bartender Myra.
She creates amazing cocktails and always adds personal touch to each drink. The food is delicious! Especially fish bronzino must try, it's so moisture and crispy at the same time! I even was offered complementary dish octopus in cheese!Sunday are the best day to visit Kyma. Music doesn't destroy my ears and the place is half empty, which positively reflects on service. Servers have more time to talk to you and not just run around to serve other tables. And food prepares really quickly.
Be the first to ReplyKyma pronounced: Kee-ma My girlfriends were dying to go to
Kyma pronounced: Kee-ma My girlfriends were dying to go to this place . I already thought it was too pricey for what they deliver but okay thought we'd check it out anyway 1. Ambience : GORGEOUS . Huge space . 2. My favorite thing : they have a DJ after 7:30 pm on Fridays and I think Saturdays .he was very good3. Drinks : Very good! I wanted to try the whispering lemonade (rose /mint /lavender syrup/ lemonade ) but our waitress told us not to get it!! I really wanted to but she was like so sure of her self , so no one wanted to after that . My friends got the pure passion (vodka passion fruit) was delicious , Kymatini (cucumber martini) , lychee martini and I for a sparkling rose which wasn't bad . It was $18 for the glass and it's prob $18 for the whole bottle outside tbh .My friend got white wine at $15 and it's supposedly $9 for the bottle . I hate when places do this. I understand every one does this. But not to that level!!!! Kinda shameful tbh. Atleast serve something slightly better . 4. Food: Ugh. Apps : we got the tomato salad which was mediocre. The kyma chips (zuccini) were outstanding but cake with such little tzatziki. It's like c'mon. The entrees we got were : Filet mignon kebab . Which was delicious. But came w chimichurri sauce. Like hello I thought this place was Greek ...but ok .also it came w pita and potatoes and it's just like ugh cmon something green or a veggie to freshen the plate would be nice! Esp when ur charging $42 for a plate ! For a single skewer of kebab. Felt very like fast food-ey My friends got the cauliflower steak lol don't ask was very stupid $29 for just a head of cauliflower not even well cooked or seasoned . WTFMy other friend got lobster pasta which came w chunks of lobster. It's a pretty plate. There were multiple birthdays and mine got me a blueberry cheesecake with sparklers. Which was actually incredibly delicious! Its kind of one of those pretentious places. Not actually sure why they're so overpriced. I guess location ambience dj. The food overall is so terrible and over priced . Drinks were 4/5. Maybe the best way to enjoy this place without feeling jipped off is to just go sit at the bar and orders few cocktails whole enjoying the dj. Let me know . Otherwise unless you have a lot of money to spend and don't care about quality and just wanna take a bunch of pictures then fine.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is a party on the weekends.
It gets wild and so much fun. They have a great space downstairs for groups and their set menu is awesome. It is a good price and a great vibe. Make sure you get the dips and the Kyma chips.

Karma is a great option for a branch with friends or a nice date night. The ambiance, food, and service are on point. Appetizers: Kyma chips are a must. It's your classic fried zucchini thinly sliced with tziki class Michael was amazing and took care of us the entire time. Tuna tartare was fresh and delicious. Chicken and waffles could have had more sauce. The tomato salad was nice and fresh and the cheese bread halloumi was delicious. No the steak and eggs and eggs Benedict were classic you really can't go wrong here.
Be the first to ReplyBasically eating in a night club.
If that sounds like fun to you and you love Mediterranean food, go here! It was pretty packed for a Saturday night and very loud. We were a fairly large table of 20 to celebrate a friends birthday. I have to say, service was exceptional. Food was good too! We had a pre-fixe menu and got to choose our main entree. There were a few choices, fish, sirloin, lamb chops and one other I can't remember. We had family style appetizers as well to start, plenty of pita, assorted dips/hummus, saganaki, tomato salad, calamari and spanakopita. Everything was really good, liquor was flowing and lots of Tequilla. Overall, a lot of fun!
