The food here is good, but I think you can find better food of the same style elsewhere, alongside better service and vibes. The waiters here are typically inattentive and I feel like the wait time is just a little bit longer than it should be. The prices here are mid-range, so I never expect too much, but it would be nice if the service was better. I like their pasta and appetizers. They're good, but not great. Try not to get seated in the back/basement, they'll forget about you

ok yum! i got the Gramigna which was to die for!!! also got the limoncello spicy margarita-- which was also very good but didn't have much spice. burrata was killer and the vibe on a saturday evening was cozy + sweet. service was great too: they take your whole food order at one time so they can time it with the kitchen. overall, will be going back :) we walked in on a saturday night and got lucky.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, kind, pleasant staff, & a cozy atmosphere.
The spicy limoncello margarita was sooo good, as was all the food. This place is close to my apartment and I've also been for brunch before. Will definitely be back.

Everything about the place was wonderful! The drinks, the apps, the entrees and the service. We were a party of 7 including 2 out of towners and everyone enjoyed their meals. Some of us had pasta others had chicken Milanese. Our server was excellent! I asked for a slight addition to my meal and he accompanied it perfectly! The restaurant was packed but we were not rushed at all!!

Amazing service. Gorgeous ambience. This place is great for a date or for a celebration, and it's wheelchair friendly.
Be the first to ReplyGood food and drink.
Loved sitting in front - more quiet. Portions are nice to eat solo or share a few together. This site has pizza. Looked really good. Nice waitstaff.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Italian food in a fun and trendy setting.
I've been here once for dinner and once for brunch, and have thoroughly enjoyed both meals. It's stylishly bright during the day and romantically dim in the evening. The menu isn't expansive but has a nice selection of good dishes - from eggs benedict on the brunch menu to delicious tagliatelle. Their tiramisu is adorable (see picture) and a must-get for me! Service was always efficient and courteous.

It was packed on a Thursday night, so we were very glad we had reservations. The snacks (whipped ricotta?) were fantastic as were the pasta and fish we ordered. We happened upon another location after visiting the Whitney a few days later and stopped in for some fantastic salads. Service was top-notch each time.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for any time in the day.
The ambience in the evening can be sexy with the dim lighting but not too over the top for a first date sinceIts loud. I actually found it a bit too loud but it's manageable. It's super busy to make sure you either make reservations or are not in a rush.We didn't have a reservation and although it was busy we didn't have to wait more than 10 minute which is amazing. We ordered the roasted cauliflower ommmgggggg yasssss I wasn't too sure about the raisins but they're in to something, then went gif the rigatoni vodka which was perfectly creamy then should have done a adjacent buttt lefts be real, we got the garganelli pasta which had mushrooms and pesto and it is divine. Highly highly recommend it if you're looking for something new to try! Service is good as usual. And it's a solid spot for hosting friends from out of town or a girls night or a casual date night! Pizza looked amazing. Will be back for more.

Ambiance 10 Service 10 Food 5Cocktails 8I was really excited to try this place. The food was average at best and a disappointment. I'd recommend a cocktail at the bar and meatballs instead of dinner. Drinks: Wine pours very small Aperol drinks were good Other cocktails looked good and unique cocktail menu Apps: Calamari 6 - nothing specialMeatballs 8 - this was the best thing other than dessert. 3 large meatballs. Very delicious and comes in a flavorful sauce with bread. Cacio Pepe balls 6 - the creamy texture inside was unexpected Zucchini fries 7 I got the Brussel Sprout salad with salmon as my entree. The salad was clearly tossed hours earlier and did not have the crunch you'd expect from brussel sprouts. The salmon was baked with no salt pepper oil flavor NOTHING. Completely bland.Dessert: Budino was excellent

Came here for my birthday and I was extremely happy with the experience. ย The food was absolutely amazing. ย We started with some Cacio e Pepe Fritters which were fried balls of yumminess. ย If you know what Cacio E Pepe is, then you can imagine what these are. ย All the best parts of a Cacio e Pepe dinner minus the pasta rolled into a mixture. ย So essentially black pepper and pecorino cheese mixed together just right and then fried. I seriously could have just eaten these all night. ย They are unbelievable. ย (I just looked online for the recipe, they seem simple enough to make and I'll be doing so sooner rather than later). ย For my entree I had the Campanelle pasta. ย This dish consisted of roasted wild mushrooms, arugula pesto, garlic and pecorino. ย If you enjoy mushrooms, this dish is a must. ย The flavor was intense and wonderful. ย My girlfriend ordered the Gramigna which consisted of curly pasta, house-made sausage, broccolini and chili flakes. ย While I definitely preferred my Campanelle, this dish was excellent in its own right. ย Excellent flavor. For dessert we split the Chocolate Hazelnut Budino which is a pudding of salted caramel and crumbled wafer. ย Again, ย what can I say other than they did this right! There was a nice cocktail selection and wine list to choose from. ย I highly recommend a bottle of the Etna Rosa. ย It was a lighter red which complimented everything perfectly. So with all of the above said - what keeps me from giving 5 stars? ย ย The ambience. ย The acoustics here are not good. You can hear everyone talking all around you. ย If you have hearing issues, this will impact you. ย There are measures you can take to muffle ambient noise - they should implement them. ย I've been in far more crowded places where this hasn't been issue. ย With that said, I know a lot of people enjoy this type of scene - so if it's your cup of tea, you'll feel very comfortable. Also - our reservations for here were made with the Resy App. ย We made it very clear in the reservation that this was a birthday dinner. Despite that, there was no recognition of the birthday made by the staff whatsoever. ย I don't know if this is a staff issue or whether it is a Resy issue. ย And in defense of the restaurant, we should have told them when we were there rather than just relying upon the app to speak for us. ย Regardless of my two complaints - the food we were served outweighed them by far. ย I would happily come back here and dine again. ย The food was just that good!

I recently visited La Pecora Bianca for my birthday, and had a pretty terrible experience from the service provided. While the food and ambience were great, what was not so great was the lack of care and attention by the kitchen in preparing the food. Specifically, our table ordered the Chicken Milanese and when we received our dish, we bit into a paper clip in our food. When we brought this to the attention of the restaurant manager, Gina, she was less than gracious regarding the incident, and claimed that there were no paper clips in the kitchen and implied that our table must have added it into the plate. This type of behavior was less than welcomed for a party of 8 that was spending well over 600 dollars that night. Not even 10 minutes later, we received our receipt which was, ironically, paper clipped. ย While the food was great, the service, and management's lack of tact with their customers is a very clear reason to not come back to this restaurant. ย Funnily enough, the restaurant website states the below: "We hold ourselves accountable to follow through on our commitments, recognizing that a relentless focus on execution is the path to excellence. We own up to our mistakes without shame or embarrassment and act with integrity in our relationships with guests and each other." Management at the Midtown location acted evidently without integrity and lacked respect for their guests. They certainly don't live by the philosophy outlined on their site. Don't waste your money here - there's places where people will treat you better.

I find it extremely rude and disrespectful that a restaurant would blame and accuse their customers of puting something in their meal. There was a full size paper clip in my meal. Once we told the waitress she immediately looked at me as if I had placed it there looking for a free meal. She starred towards the register area where they keep paper clips for the bill. You still no be seeing me there again

..Every time I'm in NYC I made it a point to come here for dinner. My bf and I are obsessed with cacio e pepe, and they make it the best here!! Make sure you get the burrata with it - a huge cheese ball that made me so happy I was giddy. I've been to 2 locations so far, and I liked the atmosphere of this one the best.

Words can't even fathom to begin how much I love La Pecora Bianca. Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I've had in NYC, ever. The champagne we ordered might have helped with the enjoyment but I can't wait to come back here and try one of their wines!Roasted cauliflower- Delicious, and had a yummy sauce. Highly recommend. Rigatoni with burrata - Phenomenal, perfection, delicious flavors. Must order. The special we also had was the tagliatelle with truffle slices, and this might have been better than the rigatoni. It was smooth, flavorful and 35 dollars worth of bliss. I hope they add this to their regular menu. For dessert, we ordered the olive oil cake. It came with homemade vanilla cream and apple compote, ugh so delicious I still have dreams about this cake. The cake was perfect, every bite was incredibly moist. One of my favorite dinners to date in NYC, La Pecora Bianca is a must-try!

Didn't have reservations. Asked the host if they had a table and since I'm 8 months pregnant didn't want to sit on a high chair at the bar. Not only did the host completely ignore me and never even looked up as she was too busy with her tablet, but didn't even bother to accommodate my request.

This was my second time attending this restaurant and I was throughly satisfied with my experience. The food was amazing, I ordered the Campanella and it was perfectly crafted. The pasta was delicious and it had just enough seasoning to bring home the dish. The service was good but could have been a little better. Overall I would say it was a good experience.
Be the first to ReplyReally excellent dinner experience.
Headed here for a later dinner(~8pm) and started with brussel spouts. Great tagliatelle bolognese for me, exactly what I was looking for. My cousin said the rigatoni alla vodka was also delicious. Service really stood out- inobtrusive yet responsive.

Bruh. This place... just GO. I booked my boyfriends birthday dinner here and wasn't sure what to expect but they completely exceeded expectations. We ordered the Burrata, Whipped Ricotta, and Zucchini Fries. I was instantly impressed with how good everything was. I ordered the Vodka Rigatoni, and basically kept saying omfg, holy shit and oh my god the entire time i was eating it. I did add the burrata on top of course! The sauce was perfect, pasta cooked perfectly al dente and they even sprinkled Malden salt on top and it elevated the dish that much more. Anyways, i will for sure be coming back to try it again!!!
Be the first to ReplyCame here for lunch with little to no expectations,
Came here for lunch with little to no expectations, considering the average reviews. It is one of their many locations scattered throughout the city, this one is in turtle bay and mid-priced. The crowd is a mix of diplomats and embassy folks (the UN is close by as are many foreign embassies) , a handful of wealthy-ish ladies who brunch on weekdays and some corporate types who work at Midtown- Park Avenue. I came here armed with reservations which is unnecessary. Atleast on a weekday. The food was surprisingly good even though we didn't get anything other than two entrees (we weren't very hungry). We also got a Chardonnay and a vodka drink off the menu. We got the branzino and the Campanelle pasta. The campanelle was earthy with mushrooms, garlic topped off with Arugula pesto. The branzino was good too, could have used a bit more seasoning but it was light and flaky on a bed of arugula, capers and green olive salsa. The service was great, the wait staff was very kind and accommodating. My only gripe was that my Chardonnay pour was disappointing for $17. Not like I was expecting it to be a lot but I felt shafted. I'll be back for the Campanelle and other pasta dishes as they all looked promising.

Decor/ambiance was lovely, waiter was kind, the food and drink was actually very lovely as well. I got the gramigna with burrata, which was wonderfully al dente and well-seasoned. Pasta and a cocktail came out to about $50-60 per person. The decor was wonderful as well; a wide-open space, somewhat dark. Works for intimate occasions, although most guests (a Friday evening in early January) were groups of friends. The seating arrangement was somewhat crowded, although given how popular the restaurant seems to be I can understand the choice!
Be the first to ReplyOrdered the burrata, calamari, bucatini, and the chocolate
Ordered the burrata, calamari, bucatini, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. LOVED the burrata, would definitely recommend. The burrata is so fresh and comes with figs that makes the perfect combination of sweet with cheese. The calamari was also really good -- soft and not chewy at all so you can tell it was really fresh. Bucatini pasta was cooked to perfection -- not too soft but not quite al dente. If you like pepper, it's definitely the perfect dish for you (I myself am not the biggest fan of pepper so it was a bit much after eating a lot but it's definitely my bad for ordering a pepper pasta). Chocolate mousse was the perfect way to finish off the meal. It was so thick and delicious and had some caramel to contrast the rich chocolate. Definitely would recommend.
