Excellent Italian cuisine in Summerlin
A very good Italian restaurant in Summerlin. The menu is seasonal and very well executed. From the margarita pizza to the pomodoro, the food is excellent. I mention these two dishes because these simple dishes are actually quit hard to do well as everything rides on the quality of the tomato sauce, the pasta or the crust. Rigatoni was excellent too as are the salads (tried almost all of them over several visits). Iโm not a huge rosemary fan and I really enjoy the Focaccia (itโs seasonal) too. This is an excellent restaurant with a wonderful decor and ambiance in Summerlin.

Wonderful local restaurant with outstanding pasta. Nice decor and an upbeat vibe. Menu is small but interesting. Not your typical American Italian fare. Pastas are made in house and delicious. Had the Stracci and enjoyed it immensely. Wines by the glass list is curated and very good. Service was good. Definitely recommend.

We have been to La strega numerous times over the past few years as it is right in our neighborhood. I vacillate between loving it and hating itโฆ On the bright side is their amazing homemade pasta which is absolutely stellar (try the stracci for example). Their fish dishes and pizzas are also excellent. But the major issue, which for us is a huge issue, is Chef Ginaโs steadfast refusal to accommodate anyone with dietary restrictions. My wife, who needs to eat gluten free, has had immense trouble having anything rewarding to eat at La strega on numerous occasions. We have asked for her to be accommodated and it repeatedly has fallen on deaf ears. She has a salad and we call it a night. So I love it, she hates it, and literally no one at this restaurant seems to care about this major issue, which in this day and age is a major problem for many folks looking for a good meal.

We were visiting family in Summerlin for Thanksgiving. Weโve eaten at La Strega before (LV family favorite). The food here is fabulous! Husband said it was the best Caesar salad heโs ever hadโand heโs had a lot of them! Everything we had was amazing, including the desserts. We were staying at the nearby Element hotel (recommended, separate review). Donโt miss La Strega if youโre visiting and make sure to go if youโre a local too!!

What a true gem around 20 min from the Strip. Attended an event here for 50 people and the team delivered!! Excellent service and without a doubt, here I had the best pasta dish I have ever had. Homemade pasta with truffels - could travel just to Vegas for this dish again!

The staff is on point from the young man that greeted us at the door to Mathew, our waiter, everyone provided amazing service. Matthew knew the menu inside and out and really helped us when deciding what we wanted to try. My wife got the Alessandra cocktail. We both loved it. The anchovy appetizer was not our favorite. My wife ordered the jalapeรฑo pesto and me, the stracci for our entreees. Both were incredible. The jalapeรฑo pesto have the flavor of jalapeรฑo but no heat, really delicious. It was my first time getting stracci and it was the best pasta dish Iโve ever had. The service and food here are top notch. The interior has a cool vibe, but the seating felt a little cramped and it was super loud inside. Overall, if you love pasta, then you definitely should try La Strega.

I would like to congratulate Chef Gina and the staff for being voted one of the top 100 restaurants in the country. This is a well deserved honor. The continue to go above and beyond and the food is unparalleled

Las Vegas, as it turns out, is a foodies paradise. We have been exploring different restaurants around town and have been blown away by the global mix and the styles/seasonings/creativity of the different chefs. Our dinner in La Strega was not only a delicious culinary experience, but the team that works there was extraordinary, and made our dining experience all the more special. The freshly made pasta was perfect--al dente, as it's supposed to be, and the flavor on target. We had a pomodoro pasta--probably as simple as it gets, but the flavor , the freshness and quality of the ingredients made it outstanding. The dandelion pesto pasta was interesting and delicious as well . Our hostesses and server made sure they answered all of our questions regarding the menu, describing the menu items knowledgeably and helping us make our choices (LOTS of good stuff to choose from). Our cups were always full, our table never cluttered, and all done with subtlety. Truly extraordinary service and enjoyable dining experience!

Worth the short drive from the Strip, this cozy space is filled with fresh ingredients and rich flavors. The homemade pasta is a must for at least one selection and the choices and portions are generous. The bay scallops were delicious, along with the beef cheeks, and affogato for dessert was a perfect top-off. Prices were reasonable and service was impeccable. Highly recommend...

Went last night and it was a great find off the Strip. If you are staying on the Strip, it's worth the short trip up to Summerlin. Nice room, music was not too loud. The food was spectacular. I didn't take photos but probably should have. Maybe next time. I have seen a lot of reviews talk about the pizza and it's great since it comes from a wood fired oven. Don't miss the fish like anchovies or sardines if they are on the menu. Really creative and great. We didn't have the pasta, but it is all fresh and homemade. Their bolognese sauce is interesting since they use Ndjua in it which gives it some kick. I had whole fish and it was super. Done in the wood fired oven. The service was fantastic. Not rushed. I thought the wine list was well chosen and well priced for a restaurant of this quality. They have corkage of $20/btl limit two. If you have some great Italian wine in your cellar you want to drink this would be a good spot. Don't go to the wine shop and buy a bottle on the way in. They have some fun amaro's to drink as well. Would love to see them set up a retail fish shop next door. They do one every so often but I'd love to be able to buy fish through them at a regular clip. Coming from Chicago, I was looking for places like this. True gem of a place.

Unassuming on the outside with tasteful dรฉcor inside. From a welcome greeting by their GM Stefanie to top notch service from our server Meghan and ultimately a chat with Chef/Partner Gina we felt cozy & well attended. The food was incredible ! The wild boar rigatoni was rich and flavorful. our appetizer of Carciofi was delish with tender artichokes and a flavorful yogurt base. The star of the night though was the Orecchiette with rich, deep flavors of truffle and maitake, with a little chile to spice things up. Finished off with their home made Limoncello which had the perfect balance of tart, sweet & a nice kick!
Awesome place to go off the strip at a fraction of the price with 10 times the flavor and presentation!
Very pricey but incredible
Prior to telling you how great this place is, I need to share its cost. Tucked away in a remote spot in Summerlin (off 215) the menu was quite unique and the prices bare that out. I ordered the shrimp dish. The dish had two (2) shrimp, very large, and a small amount of veggie compliment and it cost $42. Yes two shrimp for $42. The bill for 4 dinners, one salad, a wine, beer and two drinks was $200.
The Atmosphere- very comfortable, airy, clean and crisp
The service - Tony was INCREDIBLE! Tremendously helpful, constantly watching for our needs and he surprised us at the end with a Birthday dessert.
The Menu- unique for this area. In fact, I would challenge you to find 2 of the menu items anywhere else in Summerlin. The prices appear to be reasonable, however, the dishes that are the most sort after are pricey.
The Drinks- spot on. I requested the Bartender special and it was an Old Fashion with a burnt cinnamon stick and orange...to die for!
The food- Delicious, unique, prepared excellent, with an incredible presentation.
All in all 5 Bubbles! Just be sure to bring extra cash.
Great spot in Summerlin
Amazing new spot in Summerlin. Nice ambience in a space that has needed a good Italian restaurant. Fresh food and very high quality

If you are looking for a place to go and have a wonderful Italian experience then this is it. I sat at the bar where there were a number of people and I overheard a few of the patrons talking about the food establishments where they worked. They were being very complimentary toward the food and drink they were having so I knew I was in for a treat. People in the food biz don't eat out at bad restaurants. Todd the bartender -- really knew his stuff and made me an artful and delicious "old fashioned". Then I had the Salmon Crudo - light and delicious. For dinner I had the Stracci and it was just incredible and melted in my mouth. All in a pleasant environment. Todd really knew his stuff behind the bar and was very passionate about his craft. Very nice to see. He makes a number of his own drink mixes with fresh ingredients. Give yourself a treat and stop by La Strega!

Worst service ever in Las Vegas! Reservation at 6:30. We were on time. They seated us at 7:05. Place was very noisy. The table they gave us was small and cramped. At that point, we left.
