My friend and I decided to try this gem on a Friday night
My friend and I decided to try this gem on a Friday night after a long work week. It did not disappoint. The food and wine are amazing. Great service at the bar and our sever. The bartender made great drinks and our sever was knowledgeable and just a joy to talk with. You can tell both love their jobs and enjoy talking with customers. The ambiance is perfect for a date night, solo dinner at the bar or happy hour with your friends. Make sure you make reservations as the restaurant fills up quickly. I highly recommend the 3 courses menu which changes monthly.

Very cute and cozy little wine bar in the west village with natural "funky" wines as well as the basics. Limited food options, but just enough, and all delicious choices. The entire staff are very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go again! Great for dates and small friend groups.

5/5My hubby brought me here for a date night and oh my what a great place!I like all the food I tried, really wish I could give the 5 star but the duck was a miss for me. It was really good but not the best I've tried. However, the beef tartare was amazing They had a huge selections of wine, I was a bit overwhelmed by the selections but the nice server helped us to choose based on our preference. It was a really nice wine to pair with all of the food we got.I will give this place a try again, I hope they have different menu to try from. Overall, a really nice experience.
Be the first to ReplyWOW amazing restaurant.
Better than some French place I've had in Paris! The portions are decently sized. I think you can do 5 dishes for 2 people. I was really blown away by every dish, but in particular my favorite was- Steak tartare. AMAZING. One of the best beef tartare's I've ever had. You MUST get this. - Beef cheeks gnocchi. Unreal. SO GOOD. My second favorite dish! - Lamb parparadelle. Another fantastic dish! I was honestly blown away. The food is amazingly well cooked, delicious, and very very rich in flavor. Highly recommend. I am excited to come back here with a book, and order another tartare with a glass of wine for nice wine down day.

I went the Eve Eve of Christmas and it was a memorable dining experience. I gave it 4 stars (if given the choice, I would give 4.8 stars) because I loved the plating, vegetable to meat ratio, service and all but my partner had a tough time with the vegetables on his plate. If you don't like vegetables, you may be hungry. Now onto the experience..!We had the 2 course menu of the: beef tartar, gnocchi, lamb entree and sirloin steak entree. All of it was refreshing and new. The plating was beautiful and the meats were all cooked perfectly. The beef tartar was fresh and delightful. The gnocchi was smaller than most gnocchis but the sauce and pasta together was special. The sirloin and lamb entrees were magical. While it was dark, I ate everything with no regret. The plates made sense. Harmonious! We couldn't have the desserts because we were so full. They are also special from other places as all of their wine are natural. We learned that because they were natural, there is a type of yeast that leaves a flavor palate different for every one. Lastly, the service and host were just fantastic. Never did we feel pushed or neglected. We were attended and were given the space to enjoy our food and each other's company. This place will make any day a special and intimate eveningThank you for a wonderful evening

I was looking forward to dinner here based on the menu, we arrived 30 minutes prior to original time reserved and were seated right away with a choice of indoor or garden dinning. We choose the garden dinning, the weather was fantastic and our waiter was friendly, energetic and highly knowledgeable of the menu and wines. I noticed we were still in time for happy hour and so we decided to taste some white and red wines by the glass, giving us time to peruse menu and ask questions regarding the menu. Items we had for starters from dinner menu are:Yellow Fin Tuna with passion fruit, avocado and togarashiHand cut Beef Tartare with quail egg and crostiniScallop Ceviche with green tomato, chili, drizzle with coconut milk Lobster Bisque, i have to say it was surprising as it had hardly any cream and it was actually more like a soup or a light broth, but truly well executed. Our main courses were:Grass fed Ribeye (med rare) with bone marrow crust, Colorado Lamb with pencil asparagus, pistachio crust and panisse.Temperature on all proteins were executed to perfection, portions are good, they leave enough space to consider desserts.Strawberry Mille Feulliate, loved it but the puff did not taste freshly baked. The Cherry Clafoutis with banana and coconut was out if this world! The chocolate tart with cardamon cream and pretzle crumble was a bit to dark for my taste buds, not a fan, way too rich. The buttery Clafoutis, was baked to a soft, custard, buttery texture that just melts in your mouth. The cherries, banana brulee and ice cream are all paired to perfection to cause a palate overload that is very indulgent but in a delicious wicked manner. Should be a sin to eat a Clafoutis; very similar to a ditch pancake except it was very tender and it was hot as it had just come out of the oven!I was disappointed that i did not see soufflé in the menu, i hope in the future they add it to the list of desserts, no French restaurant should be without it. I look forward to my next visit with my family and friends.

I showed up for my reservation but got wrongly charged for $120 as the cancellation fee by this restaurant. I emailed them in the morning but got no answer for the whole day. I called them just now but got an arrogant answer that I should wait patiently. This reminds me of my bad experience of dining last Saturday. I have never seen this terrible service in NYC.
Be the first to Replywe had the most amazing dinner here for my birthday.
the service was impeccable. we did the 3 course option and every bite we took was delicious. our waiter gave us excellent wine recommendations, as they only carry natural wines. he let us try a couple before we settled on a wonderful white. i will definitely be dining here again!
