Worth the visit
Worth the visit. The food is great at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. Very fancy and very classy. The food is delicious. Great restaurant.

One of the best meals we have had. We secured reservations at the restaurant. To our surprise and joy, we had the opportunity to reserve seats at a special collaboration between this restaurant and Mila Omakase. The service, food, and presentation were unmatched in quality. A very special evening. Would highly recommend and hope to be back again.

L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon has some of the best food around. The meal was delicious. Really enjoyed the attention to detail. Great place to dine.

Exceptional Michelin star establishment. The dishes were creative, delicious and innovative. Fantastic dining experience.
Be the first to ReplyGood, but Opportunities for a True Two Michelin Stars Restaurant Experience
My husband and I were looking forward to this experience as it is the only two star Michelin Stars restaurant in Miami, but to be honest we were somehow disappointed. Having been to some other Michelin Star restaurants, they lack some very important details that some of the one star take very good care of. First one, there were several guests wearing caps and for those who want to spend a delightful evening in a luxurious dinner, having people with very informal attires such as t-shirts and caps, is not nice, we have been to restaurants not even close to being Michelin Star, and they request customers to remove their caps while in the restaurant, they definitely should be as rigorous in a two Michelin Stars restaurant. Second observation is the way the service is synchronized to make your experience wonderful, although waiters are extremely nice, the time in between courses took too long, of course you don’t want them to rush you, but a Michelin Star restaurant has impeccable synchronization and they don’t have it here, maybe it is that there was no master chef in the kitchen the night we went, or at least we did not see him, but the crew seemed disorganized. The tasting menu was good, the “le crabe royal”, rissoto, gizzard and of course the original recipe of Joel Robuchon’s mashed potato were some of our favorite ones; and the pastry they gave us to bring home was a very nice touch. Overall, good tasting menu, good decoration, good selection of wines and nice to see the kitchen from the counter; but considering the two Michelin Stars they need to care for the details that will make the experience truly extraordinary, so you feel that it is worth to spend such a significant amount of money and that the Michelin guide is not overrating them.

If you are in Miami and want to have a once in a life experience this is the place to go . Having dinner here is just a privilege. The menu is perfect with many choices that combine traditional recipes with a unique touch that makes the experience so pleasant . The service is perfect and the knowledge and advice about the wine list very professional. Thanks
Be the first to ReplyFirst Class Dining with Great Food
I was in the mood to treat myself after a long day of business travel and decided to make a reservation for the counter at L’Atelier. They had various tasting menus available, but I ultimately went with the Chef’s Tasting Menu, which was $155/person for 5 courses, including dessert (this did not include any drinks). The standout star of the meal was definitely Le Risotto, a saffron risotto with razor clams cooked with chorizo. This was hands-down one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted – the saffron risotto exceeded all expectations and there was an unexpected crunch that the razor clams and the chorizo added to the dish, which made it supreme. Everything else was delicious, but the foie gras was so rich and decadent – truly a treat! Service was first class, sitting at the counter is always fun (you get to meet some fun people!), and the ambience still had the elegance of an upscale New York restaurant, but the energy was Miami all the way.
Be the first to ReplyVery good but…
There is no doubt that going to a 2 star Michelin restaurant creates a huge bias on someone’s mind. Same food in a non Michelin restaurant would not generate as much enthusiasm! Having said that some of the dishes were exquisite. We had a la carte menu and very much enjoyed the artichoke and pigeon (signature dishes). We had a truffle pasta that could barely feed a 5 year old but was super pricey and nothing more special than your neighborhood local pasta restaurant. Definitely eating with Christophle silver plate created a sense of luxury in a fancy environment. In summary this was a great meal but…fell short of the vibe although I would rank it in the middle of my ranking of Michelin 2 stars I have been to (I have been to worse and better).
Be the first to ReplyExquisite!
Absolutely exquisite from beginning to end. Every dish on the seasonal tasting menu was sublime, delicious and artistically presented. Service was on par, sommelier made excellent wine paring suggestions, ambiance delightful. We chose to sit at the chef’s counter which afforded an excellent view of the chefs at work in the open kitchen. When you’re paying these prices you expect perfection and L’Atelier delivers!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent expérience
Everything was perfect. But at first I nearly ran away as the hostess was so unfriendly. Menu was great and very tasty even though the price was very very high. Aside from the hostess the GM was very nice and accommodated is very well to catch up for his hostess
Be the first to ReplyA big disappointment
First of all, to reach the restaurant L'atelier de Joël Robuchon, you have to go through the restaurant le jardinier! then climb a fairly steep staircase which is not convenient for people who have difficulty moving around, because there is no elevator to access the first floor. The reception is quite cold, without class. It feels more like entering a bar than a starred restaurant, the tables are very high like in a cafeteria (which is not convenient for the service, a little too relaxed) or you are sitting at the bar ! The lighting of the tables is very bad part of the table is lit the rest is in the shade, which is not pleasant to appreciate the visual of the dishes. The music is way too loud and the room is very noisy. It is also deplorable that there is only one toilet, man woman disabled, for the whole restaurant we have to queue to go there. On the kitchen side, we tested the 8-course "EVOLUTION MENU" tasting menu, the amuse-bouche already counts as one dish, it is only one and tiny, the smallest 1-star restaurant offers at least 3, king crab, tuna, sea bass and the soufflé are very good, we had to wait 15 minutes to be served the overcooked and rubbery sweetbread without accompaniment and wait again for the filet mignon which fortunately was delicious. the desserts were very good; as for sweets generally there are several just a small lemon pie. The big problem with this establishment is the prices, which are EXECESIVELY HIGH, the value for money is not there, it is not worth two Michelin stars. It's a big disappointment.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing in all the aspects!
Where do I start, we come from the restaurant downstairs which was very pretty , with a great vibe and nice crowd . After a spiral staircases we were nicely surprised about the decor and the setting of the restaurant. We were sat promptly at the table by a friendly hostess . There are some table in the dining room and even outside but we love to be in front of the kitchen , where you can see the action and didn’t minded to be next to other couples, because that’s all about, sharing the same experience. Giancarlo was the server. He was very professional and knowledgeable, he guided us through the menu and told us about the special Truffle pasta which it was a great recommendation . He is from Italy and make it our dinner experience fun since sometimes when you go in this tipe of restaurant, won’t be . We decided for the Winter menu adding the truffle pasta. All the dishes were a journey of culinary art and flavor. We will be back for sure. Thank you Giancarlo to made our night special in a so elegant and fun way. Congratulations to all of the kitchen staff for such an amazing meal. Well deserved the 2 stars Michelin.

We chose the chef menu with the wine paring . Dishes were extremely small and the veal was hard and the taste was questionable . The service was on point. The wine paring was not included with the meal and it was an additional $250.00 per person. In general neither my husband and I were that impressed > we won't be back. I also didn't appreciate the free show that an old man with a young woman gave us . He was all over her touching her in very inappropriate places . For such an exclusive and expensive restaurant i think the manager should have said something to him

Great experience, love the concept. The quality of the ingredients is really what you get. High quality in every single aspect.
Be the first to ReplyBest experience and best restaurant in Miami
Best experience that I had in terms of culinary. I did the tasting menu with wine pairings. I recommend it 100%. Is not only looking perfect, the taste is unimaginable good.
Be the first to ReplyA DINING EXPERIENCE TO BE REMEMBERED
My wife and I got the tasting menu. We loved the red meats and seafood items. So tasty. We had a bottle of wine with it that our server recommended. Service was very professional. The dining experience was expensive but worth every penny.
Be the first to ReplyThe most preeminent culinary experience and an honorable tribute to the late Joel Robuchon
OK. If you want to (or are onle able to experience) just one place with a Michelin star, do this one. It will not be cheap, but that was never the point. Come if you care about the most excellent French cuisine turned into an art form by the “Chef of the Century”, the legendary late Joel Robuchon. You will feel his presence. Come if you want to feel like your hard earned money have not been wasted. Come if you want something to remember for a long time. Arguably, there are many places where enjoyable fine art can be found, but there is only one Louvre. Similalrly, there are many places serving elevated cuisine, but there was only one Joel Robuchon, one elBulli, one Bourdain who added his unmatched narrative, and so on. Even though we feel that much is being made about exclusive eateries (and we don’t care about the foodie hype often constructed to justify exorbitant prices), L’Atelier stands on its own with its 2 Michelin stars. Not because it is pretentious or chique, but because the food is simply great and the service impeccable. Sure, there were 1-2 minor issues, but those are subject to one’s palate and the youth of the dedicated staff. We prefer that over pretense. Seated at the kitchen counter, we found the interactive view-of-the-kitchen ambiance deserving the place’s name: you can just enjoy your meal and watch an artist in his studio /atelier at work. The place was not packed (a surprising fact initself) which we thought was good. Seating shoulder to shoulder at the counter could have been a bit too much. We thought that seating on the terazza /outside defeats the point, comes short of the Chef’s intent, and we would not recommend it. As far as what to sample, we went a la carte, focusing on testing the variety of dishes and techniques: cold, hot, seafood, meats, soups, mousses and deserts. Generally no more than three flavors are harmonized making it easy to follow the trail on the food’s origin. Everything was really good, but the beats, artichoke, pork and beef ruled. The duck underwhelmed a bit, still good but in a really tough competition, langoustine a bit predictable but, again, one of the best one would have ever tasted. Just one more word on deserts: the chocolate sensation but especially the pumpkin will blow your mind. The pumpkin does not have equal. Ok, enough said. Try it. Bon appetit.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service, great flavors, but inconsistent quality.
We have dined at Joël Robuchon in Paris & Las Vegas, as well as at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Paris and NYC. This was our second time dining at Joël in Miami. Our first time was during the pandemic; at which time the food was very good but not consistently excellent. We thought the lower quality was due to the pandemic and “excused” the lack of precision. Our experiences in Paris, NYC, and Las Vegas have always been excellent & consistent. Last night both of us chose the Evolution Tasting Menu. Some dishes were excellent and others were not. On the latter, there were true issues with the food. Example: The Poached Black Bass was delicious and the sauce accompanying it was amazing, but on the plate sat a stuffed zucchini flower that I could smell overused oil coming from as the dish was served to us. I thought it may have been something else but when I tasted the flower it was oily, soggy & over fried. The above is just one example of several issues with the food last night. How L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Miami obtained 2 Michelin stars will always perplex me. Great service, great dishes, but inconsistent quality.

Be the first to ReplyCooling is an art and L’atelier is the most gifted artist
I had from far the best experience in Miami ever! Everything is perfect from the moment you step foot in the restaurant. The service is impeccable, food there is not cooking, it's an art. All the flavors are to die for, the dishes presentation like a painting. By eating at the counter you witness how everything in the kitchen is like a ballet where everyone works flawlessly. It’s definitely the best restaurant in Miami.
Be the first to ReplyThe culinary arts at their best!
We ate like to eat at the counter where you can see the artistry of the chefs at work. Truly splendid food and service from the foie gras foam amuse bouche thru the rest of the menu. The Iberico pork dish was amazing, as was the saddle of lamb/merguez combination and squab. Great strawberry/rhubarb dessert. As good as food gets!

An excellent and unique experience in Miami. Nothing to envy the original in Paris. The usual mashed potatoes with that unique taste of L’ Atelier. Excellent service, André and his assistant did a very professional job making us feel like royalty. The sommelier will become your best friend and ally for this experience; Enrique knows what he does and he does it very well. We had the winter menu, it was perfect, balanced and exquisite. We will repeat!
Be the first to Reply5 star food and service, but still room for improvement
Service and food were 5 stars. Absolutely excellent. However with a reputation and price tag like this, everything should be perfection. The following are my grievances which result in only 4 stars.
- I booked last minute a day or two before. When I booked there was an “express menu” online which was half the price of the regular fixed price menu. This was not actually available when I was there, and I also heard others in the restaurant asking about it. Although I didn’t plan on ordering it, it struck me as a very dishonest way to get diners in the door.
- Sitting at the counter is a great experience watching the kitchen. It’s a pity they seat people directly in front of the till where all the servers gather to input the orders, so you’re constantly overlooked. Either move the till, or seat people away from it. There’s plenty of space, or else seat people accordingly when the restaurant is not full.
Cooking at a High Standard
This restaurant is terrific. Have been to the other outlets in NY and Paris. Always a great meal. The foie gras amuse bouche, the eggplant, artichoke, pompano, beef, chocolate desert were all excellent. Service was excellent too. The meal is expensive. The best seats are at the bar. The cost was bout $600 for two with a $100 bottle of wine, four courses each.
Be the first to ReplyI want to come back tomorrow! That’s how good the place is!
Absolutely spectacular!
From the first bite of the most delicious foie gras I have ever tasted to the last bite of decadent desert, this was nothing short of excellence!
I would suggest to try chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing the first time you visit.
Wines have been carefully selected to complement the culinary masterpieces.
Enjoy!!
