🤮 1/5 - I normally put quite a bit of stock in a Michelin rated

I normally put quite a bit of stock in a Michelin rated restaurant but this place is not worthy of a mention, let alone a star. We've dined at many all over the world. We arrived on time for our reservation but were told it was not ready. They suggested we sit at the bar. We ordered a drink and within a minute they told us our table was ready. We got the check and were shocked to see a bill for $90 for 2 tiny martinis served in a cordial glass. The hostess informed us that our table was upstairs via a winding staircase. When we asked if they would carry our very full drinks up for us, they said no. We finally got upstairs, taking time not to spill a $5 drop of our drinks and were seated at the "chefs table" which was basically the counter. The ambiance is nothing special. Trying to be a bit Parisian but not quite making it. We opted for the 7 course tasting with wine pairings. The 5 courses we had were on average-average, with some being very good, others being bland. The wine pairings were not good and the sommelier was very condescending when we asked questions. The wait staff was friendly and we chatted about this being our first time in Miami. What was shocking was when the waiter brought our 4th course, I was told that "the lady may enjoy her water" as he poured the wine pairing for my husband. After taking a moment to comprehend the situation, we inquired about why I wasn't being served and were told the sommelier had said I was slurring my words! We asked to speak to the Manager. When she arrived, she told us I did not seem drunk at all but she needed to support her staff and that they were "responsible for the safety of their guests". We had taken an Uber and my husband was apparently fine so not sure where the "safety" issue came into play. We opted to leave. They charged us for the full meal and wine. $1200 with the mandatory 20% tip. The restaurant would have received a rating of 2, maybe 3, for the service, wine and food, especially for the price, but for the added cost of being treated with such disrespect, I give it a 1.
