Great!!
Penne ala vodka was great!! Thila was amazing very friendly and attentive!! Would recommend to friends. The sunset was beautiful.
Came for the view/ stayed for the amazing food
Brilliant - food and service exceptional. We will be back and bring others to share the experience. Everything was delightful
Lunch at Lavo
The newly renovated space made the lunch experience feel luxurious, and staff are incredibly friendly. We were given great recommendations for food and drink options. The restaurant has a lovely view of the entire marina area.
Great Service & Ambience, Limited Food Variety.
Had lunch here with friends, a total of 9 of us including kids. After the renovation, the food variety seems more limited, but the dishes we ordered were still enjoyable. The signature meatball and spaghetti with tomato & basil were excellent. The Italian oysters were average, while the Margherita pizza was fine but not remarkable. The service was excellent - attentive and accommodating to a big group with kids. The ambience was great, with the top-floor location of MBS Hotel adding to the experience. A solid dining spot for gatherings, though I’d love to see more food choices return to the menu.
A good choice for first timers in Singapore!
First timer there and we all enjoyed our meal. The portions were perfect ( pizzas are big enough for a proper dinner !), and the atmosphere is amazing. We sipped our cocktails enjoying the view, the peace and the friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
10/10 experience
Unbelievable experience, came here for our honeymoon and it was everything we hoped for. Food was insane and the waiter Sandeep was extremely nice, looked after us all night and made sure we got amazing service. Recommend to anything visiting Singapore 🇸🇬
Amazing Dining Experience
Our experience of dining at LAVO was sensational. From booking through to the end of the evening the care taken by the staff to ensure we were having a great experience was second to none. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our 25th wedding anniversary was special. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful table, service, view, wine, appetizer (baby artichoke salad), main courses (seafood Alfredo and truffle ravioli) and dessert (tiramisu). Would absolutely recommend! Thanks so much Lavo!!!
So here's the deal.
. I've been to their Vegas location and had zero complaints but Singapore seemed to miss in several areas. We ordered four cocktails and one came out with bright red lipstick on the martini glass that was visible as soon as the drink was set on the table but apparently not visible to the bartender who made it nor the server who brought it to us. Typically this warrants a check in from a manager, something comped off the tab or at minimum an apology- we received none of the above. We got the meatball, a pizza and calamari to start. Meatball was amazing, pizza was mediocre and the calamari was flavorless even at $30- pro tip; a little salt goes a long way... We followed up with more drinks and when being served them the servers could not differentiate between which cocktails were which or who ordered what. Seems like no one is studying their menus here. For entrees we chose the gnocchi and white bolognese. Bolognese tasted like great value hamburger helper out of the box and the gnocchi was denser than a hockey puck. Overall the "vibes" of the restaurant were great and the view was unmatched but this place is nothing but a cash grab and I've had better service at my local McDonald's. Oh and, this meal was over $400- I would only suggest this place to my worst enemy.

The cardboard tasting pizza gave me nostalgia for my high school days. But at least my high school cafeteria didn't charge $30+ and another $6 for water (but hey, it would be unlimited water!). The view is good if you're lucky enough to get a good seat. Seafood pasta also tasted bland, so maybe don't come here for the food.
We had a lovely evening at the rooftop at Lavo.
A friend had to create a membership to get us a reservation while we were there a couple of weeks ago. My daughter, who is studying there, joined us. We had a great view of the light show and the food was better than we expected for a restaurant more known for it's view than it's food. Our friend was also celebrating a birthday so they brought us a birthday desert to share! I had the scallops! The others had gnocchi, lasagna, and carbonara I think. I highly recommend a sunset reservation so you can see the view and the lightshow!
Really nice Italian restaurant in Singapore.
Food was good, atmosphere and service were excellent. After dinner, you can go outside and enjoy the spectacular view of the city.
Food was ok.
I ordered spaghetti con vongole and the clams were overcooked and chewey. It wasn't as flavorful as I expected from a high end restaurant. The meat ball however was super delicious and would definitely order this again. My husband ordered steak and he said that was excellent. My sister's pasta was also great. I must have ordered the wrong dish. The reason why I have a 3 star is because of the service. We booked reservations for an early dinner and asked if we can be seated outside. They declined and instead seated us in a small table for 6 people which was really crowded. When we left, the tables outside were still empty so they could have accommodated us. Our server was ok. She was average and had to flag her several times. She wasn't as attentive as what is expected in an expensive restaurant. I don't really recommend this restaurant. Give it a try for the views but make sure you are seated outside except when it's raining.
Let's dive quick into Lavo.
FOOD 2/5 I won't recommend this place for food. I don't care who cooked them, or if they were cooked by some renowned chef (which I highly doubt it). The pizza? If that' was what gourmet pizza was, you won't find me eating pizza ever again. It was a mid overpriced pizza. Roberta's pizza at Shoppes at MBS was way better. Then my friend also ordered some not sure what it was with fig, that was a no too. The only item I would order to eat would only be the tiramisu. That was a 5 star delicious tiramisu. The rest? They would not be rated more than a 3, more like 0-2 stars. Mocktail was not bad, but could anyone really go wrong with making a decent mocktail?? Hmm... AMBIANCE 5/5 I have to give credit where credit is due. Lavo definitely nailed it on ambiance, then again ambiance can't be taken. The biggest question is would you want to pay pricey, mediocre food just for the ambiance? The view was amazing! SERVICE 3/5 Service was not bad, tho staffs kept asking if we wanted more drinks. I found it a tad annoying. The bottom line here is if you want to go to Lavo for the amazing view (only if you can secure one), by all means. I won't recommend this place for the above reasons.

View outdoors is lovely but outdoor seating is limited and accommodated on a best effort basis. We had put down a request for outdoor seating on our reservation but there wasn't an available outdoor table until after dinner for dessert and drinks. Indoor dining room was a bit noisy. Octopus appetizer and mushroom gnocchi were very good; tuna tartare appetizer was generously portioned but otherwise quite standard. American palates in the group thought that the chocolate peanut butter cake could have been sweeter, but still a fun dessert to share; tiramisu was enjoyed by all. Either valet parking at the hotel or self parking at the adjacent mall requiring some walking through the mall to get to the restaurant.
Very disappointed in this location of LAVO.
The hostess named Lily engaged in racism by letting in multiple women wearing flip flops and Birkenstock sandals and then told me I didn't meet dress coat in Birkenstock sandals. I don't know why she thought she could do this because the woman directly in front of me was wearing flip flops and next to me was another woman in Flip flops and one in Birkenstocks. I had also watched multiple women similarly attired enter without a word in the 20 minutes I stood in line. I pointed this out to her and she tried to act like she didn't notice I was literally surrounded by women in sandals. Eventually allowed in. I don't mind a dress code as long as I am not singled out. Also the food at this location was awful. Perhaps as an American I should not expect good Italian American food abroad. And we were seated in low couches with a coffee table for dinner so it was difficult to eat dinner and not fancy enough for a dress code actually. Our server was incredibly sweet though. But service was otherwise slow especially after his shift apparently ended. Do not recommend.
I'll give this place 3.
5 stars. Vibes were dope and the view is amazing but the food to me didn't match. We got one of the chef specials, Lasagna with wagyu beef (6/10), which in theory should be amazing but it was just ok to me. We also got the calamari which was just ok as well. I might go again if I'm back in Singapore but mostly for the vibes and view only. Might have had a better experience if I set my expectations a bit lower because of how nice the restaurant is.
Lavoooo it ❤️
Lavo is definitely a place at MBS you won’t regret to dine in. My friend and I had our birthday dinner at Lavo Marina Bay Sands to try their foods & especially to have the scenic view of Marinay Bag area. We have totally enjoyed the food especially the Meatball with very authentic taste because of its flavour mixed with different herbs and spices. On top notch, I definely feel the warm of the people wo gave us exceptional customer service namely Yvsven (I forgot how to spell her name) Markie and I forgot the guy who served us the rich 20 layer cake. They never felt any inconvenience during our stay especially they keep on anticipating things for us. Feel warm and great experience.
Birthday dinner
We enjoyed our dinner. The service is great and the food is delicious. We also love the ambiance and view of the place. Thank you Lavo!
Birthday Dinner
The staff that attended to us were so helpful and courteous. The place was so private for our celebration. Nice to see the evening view.
Anniversary dinner at LAVO
This was a repeat visit for our anniversary . Excellent food . Quick service . Friendly and cheerful staff . Overall experience was very nice .
Solo visitor
Ask if there’s a table available outside!! Stunning view of the city, absolutely breathtaking. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. Was very enjoyable even as a solo traveller. Worth the price just for the experience, I’ll remember it forever
Best place to celebrate special occassions!
Really enjoyed our dinner. Will definitely come back. Great view, excellent service and very good food. Highly recommended.
Anniversary dinner
Beautiful location with exceptional food, staff and customer service!! Would highly recommend booking in here for dinner while in Singapore.
Great Italian styled food with a breathtaking view.
A splendid pause from Asian cuisine with a view like nothing else on Earth. Located in appr. 500 ft (150 m) above the Marina Bay area on the south end of the famous Sands Hotel you could have a great Italian styled menu with a view over the busiest harbour of the globe on the one side and the towers of downtown Singapore on the other side. Indoor stylishes, but not directly Italian. Extremely friendly and good humoured staff, a - at least at lunch time - acceptable priced menu item. Recommend to look out for the days special.
Stunning views and great food.
Great location to create a memorable experience. Friendly staff, large (!!) portions and of course stunning views. Prices fit the premium experience.
it's the first time visit to Singapore for some of us.
Food and service are great. view is exceptional. i would have given 5 stars if not for the fact that there are no AC for the indoor tables. For a high end restaurant, i would have expected AC indoor, given the weather and humidity in singapore. we were sweaty and sticky from the heat so it wasn't comfortable.

Food quality & taste were nowhere close to what they charge!! Portions tiny, but wouldn't mind paying if the food was decent. Sea Bass was disgusting, tasted like a thick cut of dry talapia left on the grill!! I'd leave a negative Star if I could!
I came here to see the skyline views which were amazing.
The balcony area is super open (didn't feel crowded at all), and we had a view directly next to the infinity pool. I was able to catch the last few minutes of the light show! I ordered a ginger beer, which came with a side of olives and popcorn. The popcorn was mostly unpopped, so I didn't eat much. The service was great and the ambiance was also unparalleled.
Birthday
We had a great time on my birthday! Staffs are approachable and attentive, especially Staff Zin. 😊 Great view outside!
Awesome
Had fab night,made very welcome& fabulous experience,highlight of visit to Singapore,everyone relaxed&welcoming
Amazing views
Fantastic place. Dinner and a fantastic view! Fast service, may be a bit quick! Highly recommend. You can go for drinks or food.
Don’t bother!
When we got to the hotel we found the lift and checked in with reception before heading up. When we got up there was a big queue for the restaurant and it was unclear if we needed to wait here since we had a reservation. We waited while and then I went up to go check as we’d be late and the lady on front desk was very rude about this. Our table wasn’t ready so we needed to wait. When we did get our table it was nothing special and you couldn’t really see much of the outside which was the point of us going there. The cocktails were nothing special. My pasta dish was very nice but my partner ordered sides with his chicken and the potatoes were not good at all. We complained and then the manager came over and said she’d tried cutting into them and couldn’t see the problem. I felt this was a bit argumentative. She did take them off our bill but to be honest this whole experience ruined our night here. After this we just paid and left. I wanted a nice meal for our last night in Singapore and now can just see this place is no fine dining experience and is just part of the MBS hype. I felt like crying after visiting here as I was so disappointed for what we got for our money. The quality of the food does not meet the price we paid. You also shouldn’t bother dressing up since it looks like they just allow people wearing anything up there. It seems people had come straight from the pool.
Overpriced For Standard Food
We had been before to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and had drinks and food at the other end of the building on the viewing platform. That was brilliant. We chose this restaurant as it was our anniversary. Sadly very overpriced for what it was. There was no ambience at all having to listen to the loud base blasting out of techno music. Paying for water was a cheek and the Carbonara was a solid lump when it arrived as was the penne. I think they had been kept hot and had dried up. Sorry but if you charge these prices the food has to be bang on and you can’t just rely on the fabulous views.
Great food + view + value
Great view. Great food. Super friendly staff. Special thanks to Ms Princess Dea and her team for assisting us. Wonderful experience.
Village idiots on the loose.
What a shambles, the check in process, the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, and if you’re really bad you have to line up with the others plebs in the “rope section” why is this, I had a reservation, no point. After you’re shown to your table the wait staff are excellent and explained everything and even provided us a sample of their blue cheese sauce that accompanies the garlic bread. But all downhill from here, the pizza oven is too hot as the base is cooked yet the toppings aren’t. All a bit basic in the food department. Then there’s the village idiots who have just scraped enough cash to buy a drink and sit on it for 2 hours while they take selfies of the view and share it all over the place with their stupid two finger sign and pouty lips, they all deserve a big slap. If the food was any good you’d have a minimum $200 charge to stop the time wasters.
The value is the setting and views
Food and service was good. Views spectacular. Disappointed that water was charged for in a circa $200+ meal which was a sunrise in a warm country.
Singapore from top
Stunning views with excellent service. The quality of the food and cocktails is really great!! It is worth going there instead the visitorplatform

The views from the restaurant are amazing! Great food and service. Great cocktail menu, the Vieux Carré was excellent. I recommend the sea bass with burrata for an appetizer. Wine menu is limited. Highly recommend a sunset reservation here to your visit to Singapore.

Such an incredible experience with one hell of a view! My husband and I popped by on a Saturday night and somehow managed to land two seats at the without a reservation. We did have a bit of a wait, but if you know anything about LAVO it's typically booked up weeks in advance - so do yourselves a favor and just make one NOW. The bartenders were knowledgeable about more than just the drinks and kept us entertained throughout our entire visit. We hadn't planned on eating but after some conversation we decided we couldn't pass up the 1lb meatball - and so happy we didn't! Aside from the food/drinks the atmosphere is fit for any event or celebration. I'd be lying if I didn't mention one of the best parts about this place is the incredible view you get from the rooftop deck.
One way to get around buying tickets to SkyPark Observation
One way to get around buying tickets to SkyPark Observation Deck is to eat at LAVO. One of three rooftop restaurants at the Marina Bay Sands. Unfortunately, it was raining hard the night we went to LAVO. The rain did eventually stop, but the outdoor furniture was wet, and we could no longer enjoy our dinner out on the balcony like we wanted. So, our party of 4 ate dinner inside. Dinner was nothing to write home about. Like I mentioned, we were here to check out the view. Nonetheless, the food was good, the portions of the pastas and salads we ordered were fair, and the prices, honestly, were reasonable. We were pretty satiated after that but decided we would order a couple of desserts for the table to share. One of them was the 20-layer chocolate cake. I don't know why we all thought this was the kind of thin crepe cake layers because it was not. This massive chocolate cake was so large that even with 4 people, we were only able to eat half of it. As for service, our server was very nice and attentive. In fact, all the staff members we interacted with were all very nice. After we wrapped up dinner and paid the bill, we went outside on the balcony to take in the beautiful panoramic view of Singapore's skyline, the Gardens by the Bay and the Dome of the Esplanade below. Even though it was dark, we could still make out the Merlion. We spent a good amount of time up there, taking photos and enjoying the view.

This was a lively rooftop restaurant and bar at the Marina Bay Sands with gorgeous views. They had great music and just a great vibe overall. We made the reservations for the space alone and glad we did. Loved the ambience here, but the food was also wonderful. The service was a little inconsistent but it was also a busy dinner service during the holidays, so it was to be expected. It wasn't too extensive a menu but they had quite a few appealing items and the portions were all pretty big. The jumbo shrimp were certainly jumbo and very tasty. I really enjoyed the wagyu beef carpaccio, light and refreshing. The carne brick oven pizza was decent but nothing too special. The 20-layer chocolate cake was intimidating but totally worth it. We were pleased we were even able to finish 1/4 of the cake slice. Had some nice leftovers for late night snacks.

View from 57th floor was fantastic! A must purchase is " the meatball" to share!!! Excellent service.
Seriously disappointed.
Seating area looks like a cheap buffet, right next to each other!
This place is not good at all.
It was the worse Italian food I had in a long time. The service was not great and he gave us a bit of attitude when we had to send back one of the plates that was just not up to the standard we expected from this restaurant. Observing the crowd I can see that people come here because of the name but do not be fooled. There much better places in Singapore. The view is nice and that is the only reason why it gets 2 stars.
Poor service yesterday and I left.
The service was much better tonight. The food was plentiful and quiet good. The 20 layer cake and crab legs were expensive yet amazing! The checkin process was very long both days. The views are the best in the city. We got to view the lights show at 8pm and it was amazing.
Food is delicious, the ambience is nice, loved the music
Food is delicious, the ambience is nice, loved the music selection and the service was nice!
(3.5/5, rounded to 4) Lavo is seated on top of Marina Bay
(3.5/5, rounded to 4) Lavo is seated on top of Marina Bay Sands, at the security entrance right before you enter the infinity pool. It's a perfect brunch spot with the family or a date spot if you go at night. Expect higher prices because you're in MBS and it's an international household name, but the portions are at least very reasonable. I wasn't a fan of the pizza as the flavors were lackluster but the two pastas were both excellent, al dente and creamy! I wish we had time for dessert as I was eyeing the layered chocolate cake as soon as I opened the menu.
