I had the pleasure of dining at Le Jardinier in Miami on Valentine's Day, also celebrating our anniversary, where I was blown away by the restaurant's creative and delectable menu.For our first course, my girlfriend and I shared the Beef Tartar, which was an absolute standout dish. The beef was expertly hand-cut and seasoned with just the right amount of spices to give it a rich, savory flavor. The spicy aioli and potato chips provided the perfect accompaniment to the dish, offering a nice contrast to the tender beef. It was a perfect start to our meal.Next up was the Diver Scallop with Shitake Chutney and Lemongrass Emulsion, and it was another fantastic dish. The scallops were cooked to perfection and had a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was absolutely divine. The chutney provided a nice sweetness that perfectly complemented the scallops, and the lemongrass emulsion was a bright, fresh touch that added a subtle citrus flavor to the dish. It was a real delight to the senses.For our main course, I ordered the Wagyu Medium Rare Bavette Au Jus with Variations of Shallot, Broccolini, and Mushrooms, while my girlfriend opted for the Farro Risotto with Winter Flavors and Mimolette. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a rich, buttery flavor that was incredibly satisfying. The au jus was a fantastic addition that brought out the natural flavors of the beef, while the shallot, broccolini, and mushrooms offered a nice earthy sweetness to the dish. My girlfriend's risotto was also a highlight - the farro had a lovely nutty flavor that was complemented by the creamy, cheesy Mimolette, and the winter flavors added a nice, hearty touch to the dish.For dessert, we couldn't resist ordering the Passion Fruit Cream Tart with Raspberry Compote and Yuzu Meringue, as well as the Dark Chocolate Mousse. The tart was light and refreshing, with a tangy passion fruit cream that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the raspberry compote. The yuzu meringue provided a nice citrusy flavor that complemented the other elements of the dish perfectly. The dark chocolate mousse was a rich and decadent way to end the meal, with a deep, intense chocolate flavor that left us feeling truly satisfied, also having white chocolate ice cream in the middle layer. Overall, our experience at Le Jardinier was truly exceptional. The creativity and quality of the dishes were second to none, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience that is both elegant and innovative. It's definitely a must-visit spot for foodies in Miami.
