Les Arlots is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris right
Les Arlots is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris right now. The atmosphere is small and cozy just like you want a French restaurant to be, and the service is great. The menu is small, but each of their dishes are well thought out, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the saucisse purée and the duck (not pictured). Just be aware that the menu is very meat heavy and they don't always have a vegetarian option.

Came for lunch and ate all 4 appetizers and both main courses. Everything was amazing. Extremely well put together dining experience in a casual format. The service was friendly and prompt. Excellent in every way.

Absolutely amazing! We went to various Michelin starred restaurants and bistros in Paris and this was by far the best meal we had. Food well seasoned not depending on sauce. Service was friendly. Staff spoke English and helped us order and navigate the menu. Wine ordering is fun. No menu. You tell your waiter what you like and they find something for you. Excellent meal. Incredible prices. Ambiance excellent. Would highly recommend. Anyone who bad mouths this place is lame, doesn't have taste buds, and didn't come in w a reservation.

It is intimate, and it was packed when I first got there towards the end of lunch on Thursday. The waiter/bartender told me to come back at 15 minutes later, and they made a setting for me. I ordered the deviled eggs, the sausage + mashed potatoes, a white wine that another waiter recommended, and the chocolate mousse. All of it was perfect. The person sitting next to me in the restaurant (a Paris native, who recommended that I get the deviled eggs) told me that is was a very French, excellent bistro, and I couldn't agree more. Definitely go here!

The service, staff, and food are a notch above. I ordered a steak and my partner got the pork sausage. The waiter suggested a glass of wine, and it all was like jazz (perfect). We didn't have a reservation, and if you want to eat at this gem, I suggest you get one. I'm not French, so I am leaving a review for a French restaurant in Paris in English. They didn't have a printed menu, and the waiter spent some time with me telling me what to eat and was incredibly kind. What a fantastic experience that I will cherish. Best meal of my Parisian adventure.
Be the first to ReplyJust as excellent this time as the last time I was here.
The sausage with the potatoes is absolutely amazing. Intense. You might think that mash potatoes don't have a high ceiling, but this is next-level. Wine pairing is excellent.

I hate writing mediocre reviews, but I do feel that my experience at Les Arlots was average at best. I came to Les Arlots under the recommendation of Action Bronson's Paris Eater segment. Arriving to Les Arlots, I felt that my interaction with the person who welcomed me was very rude - setting off a bad vibe to genuinely enjoy the food. The daily special was a beef loin special, while the presentation, sauce, and potatoes were great; the meat was very tough and hard to cut through with a knie. The tiramisu was great though!

If you are looking for a small, local place to eat in Paris, then stop your search here. Les Arlots has everything you could ask for in terms of great quality and memorable food. The execution is simple, but incredibly delicious. The staff was welcoming and spent time helping us choose what ended up being our favorite wine of the trip. Everyone was happy and lively, which only added to what was an overall great experience.

Steak was super rare, sausage and mashed potatoes, this is nothing interesting. Is it worth 100euros for this and 2 glasses of wine, beer, appetizer? Not. Skip it find 10 good restaurants down the street. Sorry.

My husband found this place online and wanted to try it while vacationing in Paris. I made a reservation for Saturday. I highly recommend that you make a reservation as we have seen people get turned away and the place isn't that big. They do not pass out menus, the dishes of the day are written on a large portable chalkboard that he brings to your table. The owner himself is the wine menu and he will recommend a bottle after conversating with you. I had one of the best gnocchi's ever here, they were pan fried to perfection paired with chicken and this amazing cream sauce. My husband had the steak with potatoes that literally melted in your mouth. The octopus salad was so good, I wanted to order a second! But had to save room for my entree, The chocolate mousse was fantastic and I don't normally like it. Overall every single dish here from appetizer to entree to dessert was perfection!
Be the first to ReplyOne of the greatest french bistros in Paris.
The food is amazing and the hospitality is even better. The chef took us back to the kitchen and showed us where he works, and was even kind enough to throw in a few free appetizers. The waitress and host were equally as nice. Definitely a place I recommend going to just make sure you have a reservation or try to get a table during lunch

Truly one of the best meals I had while on vacation in Paris.Excellent wine selection as well.

We tried to come here for dinner one night, as it's a very small place they were fully booked so we discussed a potential better time to visit, Friday at noon. We arrived at 1230 and the owner immediately remembered us and felt remorse he didn't have a table open. He went above and beyond to make sure we got a table for the three of us while many locals came in and out and were denied tables. I have had countless amazing service experiences being a bare minimum French speaking US tourist, and the man in charge here was top notch. He helped picked two fabulous wines per my remedial taste profile requests and treated us to a special-after-lunch shot to celebrate our time in Paris. This is all said before the food, which was UNREAL. A perfect balance between rich and light dishes with dimensional flavor profiles. While we were given the best of the best special treatment, try and make a res here in advance if you can because it's a must go. Much love and blessings to the crew behind this special, little spot in the 10th

The first thing I wanted to do upon arriving in Paris was take my girlfriend to an authentic Parisian bistro. There are thousands in Paris, lots of them tourist traps. Not Here.... Les Arlots is snuggled away in a side street in between two random shops, it seats about 15 people at time, but don't be fooled this place is top notch!! We came for lunch around 2 which is normally pretty late, because they close before their dinner service. The door was locked but the bartender was kind enough to let us come in. He sat us at the only empty table left. Their menu was on a small chalk board w a few starters, two entre choice, and a few dessert options. We chose the chefs recommendations and they were Epic! If you are in Paris, don't pass this place up, especially if you are looking for authentic Parisian food!!!

Amazing food! Rustic French food elevated with contrasting flavors and texture nuance to make your taste-buds sing. We also enjoyed the atmosphere created by the great people working there and the casual, neotraditional decor. Octopus carpaccio is a must as is the seasonal vegetable fumée. The sweetbreads were unbelievably perfectly cooked.
