We were very impressed by the venue, the food, and the service! We appreciated how above and beyond our waiters took care of us. We were initially sitting outside in the balcony enjoying the view and wine, but a little bee decided to follow us around

PERFECT LOCATION FOR OUTDOOR LUNCH WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS OF THE BAY!
I'm a local and have been coming to the Claremont Hotel for dining for over 50 years. Yes I'm a Senior, but still relevant! My sister and I used to refer to the Hotel as "Humpty Dumpty's palace".... not a bad review for eight

Donโt go
Served raw eggs (clear, fork couldnโt pick up). Sent back and received new raw eggs. Table behind us also sent back raw eggs and got new raw eggs. This is a safety issue for more vulnerable groups.

The fourth star is for the view, otherwise would have been three only! We made a reservation for outdoor. The table for two is a really small table. Our request for a bigger table was frowned upon and ignored, even though the place was only about

Food: Overcooked, dry fried chicken, oily mushrooms with no depth of flavor (tasted only of garlic), starchy fries. My date said his burger tasted good. Drink: Bartender forgot to add spice to our spicy cocktail. It was also sickly sweet. Service:
What a shame
Food was excellent, but the service was unimaginably slow and unprofessional. At one point the bartender spilled a bottle of hot sauce on me. I would've been satisfied with a comp glass of wine, but nothing. I paid the bill and won't be bac

Dinner with an amazing view
Had a great dinner with a great friend in the most beautiful setting last night. The sunset and fire of SF from our window seat was unreal. The food and service was 5 stars. Try the steak sliders; you wonโt regret it
Holiday Sunset Appetizers
Our family visited 12/28/24 for cocktails and appetizers and were amazed by the spectacular sunset view of San Francisco and the Bay! It is a Bay Area must do in my opinion! Our party of ten included three under five years and we were welcomely treat
Boring and way overpriced
A major disappointment. The wonderful location and spacious ambience were ruined by a very mediocre, unappetizing dinner. Fried chicken was soggy and oversweet outside and dry inside. Broccoli similarly oversugared. Sides of potatoes and mushrooms we
Ok I guess
Really kind of a letdown. Not much in the way of food selection. I wanted to get a salad and add a protein to it and they said oh we canโt do protein at night. What the heck does that even mean when they serve all kinds of meat? So I got the a
Skip Limewood restaurant at the Claremont hotel
Skip this restaurant. Food was awful. B.E.L.T. Had soaked soggy white bread, raw fatty bacon and not enough other ingredients to mention.
Best restaurant in Berkeley
The food was delicious, and the menu has so many options Our waitress was accommodating and kind. View from the patio is breathtaking, especially at sunset.
