Delicious Max's classic dishes served quickly for departing passengers
My wife, 3-year-old daughter and I had our last meal here before departing from Manila. We would previously eat at Mary Grace but have increasingly realised that Mary Grace is overpriced for the quantity and quality of their food. The prices at Mary Grace are unreasonably high, even at their regular branches. Prices at their airport branch are even higher. We were pleased that we decided to eat at Max's instead. Having experienced variable quality at different Max's branches, we were expecting to be disappointed at the airport. Instead, we ate the most delicious meal we've ever had at an airport. We ordered chicken, fresh lumpia and pancit canton, along with mango shakes, leche flan and buko pandan. Our orders arrived quickly, even when we ordered additional spring chicken (half a regular chicken wasn't sufficient so we ordered half a spring chicken( and even though it was past 9 p.m. The spring chicken was crunchy and melted in your mouth, while the other dishes and desserts were delicious as well. All restaurants at the airport mark up their prices, but we still found this to have good value. We were pleased that the restaurant options at Terminal 3 are getting better and better, although all the good restaurants are located in the public area of the airport, before going through immigration. Kenny Rogers seems to be the only restaurant located in the secure area.

Having arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 and checked in for my flight 3 hours before departure. Went to look for a place to have ;inch on the 4th level. Came across Max's and having dined at the Robinson's Place Mall branch previously where I received really good food and service. I decided to have a quick bite. Ordered the Half Spring Chicken (without the rice) and Halo Halo for desert. On ordering I also informed the person who took my order not to serve the desert until after I had finished the meal. The chicken was served about 10 minutes later and as I was about to finish it I requested the server for the desert. After about half an hour there was still no sign of the desert. I ended up cancelling the order for the desert as it was already time to proceed to Immigration and security clearance. I When the bill came the desert was still on the bill, which I totally refused to pay for. Finally after another 10 minutes, they adjusted the bill and I paid and left. Fortunately I had already checked in and there was a slight delay for the flight departure. I had just enough time to clear immigration and security and make it to the departure gate. Otherwise I would have missed my flight back to Singapore. So I would suggest that if you choose to dine here, make an allowance of at least an hour before you proceed to Immigration and security. Which typically takes about 30 - 45 minutes depending on the number of people in the queue.

Holiday Seasons are never complete without at least one visit to Max's Fried Chicken. As much as it is a fast casual dining place these days, it still delivers the classic sit down Filipino meal.

We have a ritual we go to max almost every Sunday. It's close and easy. This is first time we visited the one inside Mall of Asia. Same good food and same quality. Just a little higher priced here. Guessing it's for the rent inside the mall.

Max has probably the best food in the terminal. Not a lot of choices but when you have some time to kill waiting for a flight or even picking someone up, you can't go wrong with Max's.

Costs Everyone P200 to travel trough it. Far to big for a domestic airport and everyone is always SUPER RUDE! The filipinos and the guards are always rude. not organized at all. air Con is terrible. All the flights always delayed. Awful airport.
