Sweet & Spicy - You Won't Leave Unhappy
Fantastic Selection and well informed wait staff. Spicy selections in alcohol and food. A nice way to each order something different and try a little of each if you're not familiar w/Asian Foods
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed. Never again!
My family came to Morimoto Asia hoping for a good meal since we been to Morimoto restaurants before and they are not bad. This one is so disappointing. My son ordered orange chicken. It was horrible. It had a bitter taste. It was more like orange tenders. My son also ordered salmon sushi and boy I am appalled by how Morimoto serves pink ginger. What a disappointment considering Morimoto is a Japanese chef. I have been to many fancy Japanese restaurants and they don’t serve pink ginger. Even the sushi chef said that is a no no. So disappointed in this restaurant of Morimoto’s.

The welcome is sad, a real station hall… There were 7 of us at the table and it was small. The map is difficult to read because of little light. We had to ask several times for cutlery. Really disappointing service. The portions are small and the price very high to match. The toilets not clean. Non-functional hand basin, several details which make my disappointment total. We didn't have dessert because we were disappointed. Very nice place but lots of room for improvement

Morimoto Asia is located in Disney Dorinha and is a good option for those who want to try some Japanese food, including Ramens, well-made, comforting food.

Service was wonderful. The food had me doing a “happy dance” in my seat. Best hot & sour soup I’ve ever had. And the lettuce wraps were wonderful. I WILL be back.

It's been 7 years since we'd been here and last night was my 60th birthday. We are one hour away from Morimoto and this was my husband's choice, where to have my birthday dinner. Funnily to those of you who are tourists, we don't have that many 4-plus star restaurants to choose from that are not Disney. But Morimoto still tickled my funny bone. Contrary to recent reviewers the service was over-the-top. That is important to me, because the food was good, sometimes great (we ordered 9 dishes between the two of us). Granted, we got there before the venues closed, but even as the families rolled into Disney Springs, the staff stepped it up and worked their tails off to keep folks who'd just arrived as happy as us who'd been there for over an hour. Our waiter, Hien, was funny, attentive, and he slipped me a take-home bag for stuff we knew we'd never finish under our table ... and a special birthday dessert with a wink. He made my night. Foodwise, it's now "Disney". It didn't feel unique anymore. The presentation was as you would expect from a Morimoto, the food was good Asian-Pacific. We saw huge families near us really enjoying. It is upscale Asian food and the menu is very family-friendly. We have no complaints, but there was nothing really outstanding, fun, even spicy on the menu that would have us return if we wanted the interesting or unusual.

California sushi roll was good. Not great. Crispy shrimp appetizer’s sauce was very tasty but the dish was more heavily battered than I expected. My husband enjoyed his Orange Chicken very much. Best thing about dinner was our server Shavonne. She was so charismatic and beyond efficient. She was the highlight our our evening.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service night
The food here is outstanding. The sushi is amazing let me say that. It may have been a bad night but our server took our order and we didn’t see him for 30 minutes. Our drink sat on the bar for that time and we ordered dirty martinis and they weren’t the least bit dirty. The food actually came before our drinks. I do not complain ever but for that place the service has to be better.
Be the first to ReplyBetter luck next time….
We visit Disney Springs on vacation about twice per year. We always plan a stop at Morimoto Street Food or the restaurant -both are excellent. We really enjoy the ramen bowls at the “ street food” location next to the restaurant. This time was not as expected. Our ramen bowls did not have meat or egg or any of the other ingredients we have come to enjoy. It was disappointing and we didn’t have time, nor did we want to go back to counter to complain. Almost $100 for 3 ramen bowls, appetizers and drinks! Please let staff know that making sure to add these items to the ramen is important. Also, the walk up service was not even that busy while we were there, so not sure why this happened?

Iron chef!!! Anything you order you will not disappoint. Natural ingredients packed with flavor. Went with 5 other coworker and every single person said their meals were delish.
Be the first to ReplyDidn't meet my expectation
Every time I go to Disney for vacation? I pick that one restaurant to go all out and have the best meal ever and this year was this restaurant. I remember eating at Morimoto's first restaurant at Philadelphia like in 20 years ago. I remember every single bite of that meal. It was such an excellent meal that it has changed how I see and taste food. I guess this was too much of an expectation. We went there for lunch instead of dinner. May be it would have been better as dinner. Slightly different menu than what I expected, no blue fin tuna or anything super high quality sushi on the menu. Had some sumai which was fine. I think I have had it as good at other authentic Chinatown dim sum place. Spider roll was ok. Definitely had it better and fresher. The fried crab was warm or crisp, like it sat out for a little. I had bento box with fish which was good peice of fish, but was it Iron Chef worthy?? My husband and daughter had duck which they said was excellent. My son had tonkatsu ramen which was fine. It is a pretty restaurant, eventhough I used the bathroom with my phones light since the light was not working (to me not acceptable at a restaurant of this caliber). Service was ok. Overall fine place, but I don't think we will return next time we are down here.
Be the first to ReplyFinally, fried rice!
Finally, after years of visiting DISNEY SPRINGS, finall had time to sit down in Morimoto Asia after getting off the plane .. .. Beautiful space. Started off with their BLOOD ORANGE GINGER ALE and it was perfect after a long travel day .. .. A delicious HOT & SOUR SOUP followed by MORIMOTO GOMOKU FRIED RICE .. .. One of the better fried rices with a tangy sauce I could have use more of .. .. A great wa to start the trip!

I was able to score a reservation and was very excited to try out Chef Morimoto’s. It did not disappoint! Excellent service, ambiance and cuisine. I had the Duck Ramen, Spare Ribs and Churro Doughnuts. By far the spare ribs were the best. Amazing flavors, crunch and the meat just fell off the bones. The churro doughnut dessert was very good and the dipping sweet miso sauce was good too!

Excellent dinner and service. Hubby was impressed that his bourbon had single ice with writing on it. The menu is a treat to peruse. We are huge sushi fans- the menu here is mostly sashimi and few rolls, so different than other places. Best sushi we have ever had. And ordered fresh wasabi. Tuna toro was exceptional. Loved the cauliflower appetizer. The kids menu comes with origami paper and instructions to make 3 animals. The japanese cheesecake was devoured! This dinner was a highlight of our disney trip!

Excellent food and service. Ordered the pork dumplings, spicy miso ramen, Peking duck for two and spare ribs. Everything was delicious. The duck was cooked to perfection and came with lettuce cups. We paired the meal with plum wine to top off the experience. Absolutely wonderful experience.
Be the first to ReplyBirthday celebration for two
This was my second visit to Morimoto. My first was December 2022. I loved it so much this was a must visit for my husband and I to celebrate our birthdays. We shared the Peking duck for two as a main entree. Best duck I have ever had period including the Peking Duck I had in Beijing many years ago that turned me off from duck. There is a lot of hype around the ribs here and in my opinion it is absolutely deserved. In our top 3 for restaurants in Disney Springs.
Be the first to ReplyAh, Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs ...
The restaurant design is modern and pretty impressive, but the food, well, that's another story. The food did not quite live up to the hype of being the creation of a Famous Chef. I was expecting a lot more from the dishes, but unfortunately, they fell short. The limited variety of dishes and drinks on the menu leaves something to be desired and the taste was mediocre at best. The noise level in the restaurant was quite high, which made it hard to enjoy the meal and conversation with my date. On a positive note, I have to say the service was attentive and professional. However, the prices were definitely on the higher side, making it a bit overpriced for what you're getting. Overall, if you're looking for a modern ambiance, Morimoto Asia may fit the bill. But if you're looking for a culinary experience that truly satisfies, you may want to look elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyBest eating experience I had
This is the second time we have visited this restaurant on a five day trip and once again we feel it was our best experience of the trip. Yes, it was expensive but we got plenty of food for the price (not like the skimpy servings at other high end places). The staff is excellent and the menu selection is great. They do offer a special that we ordered. It came to the table piping hot and was absolutely delish. We were not rushed even though there were plenty of people waiting on a table. We like to dine early but make a reservation, it was packed when they opened at 4.
Be the first to ReplyBest restaurant in Disney Springs
We loved this restaurant so much we came back twice during our vacation, the only restaurant that lured us back more than once during our trip. The fried rice and the ramen were both very good, but the peking duck is the true gem at this place. It rivals my favorite of all time, NYC's Peking Duck House. (but Morimoto costs more...) If you are in the area or on a Disney trip, you cannot miss the opportunity to go here.
Be the first to ReplyOverrated! Overpriced!
OVERRATED!!!!! Save your money and go to your local Chinese or Japanese restaurant. I read some reviews and thought it might be good. Since my family and I visit Disney Springs often we figured one day we would give it a shot. WRONG! We made reservations! Arrived on time & still had to wait 12 minutes. Afterwards, we sat down and the waitress greeted us but throughout the rest of our time, she was dry, not friendly and she definitely dropped the ball with us. We ordered shrimp tempura sushi for appetizers. We saw the other tables get their appetizers but we never did. So we figured let’s ask our waitress which was no where to be found. By the time we saw her, our main entrees arrived. We quickly told her - forget it. She said “sorry” and kept walking to her next table. Strike 1 We ordered the orange chicken and half rack ribs. The menu is limited. Our utensils were dirty- strike 2 Orange chicken was so so. I liked that it was fully white meat chicken. Usually the Chinese restaurants give dark meat. But it’s a little dry, didn’t come out that hot. Ribs- they are authentic, different, flavorful, tender and crispy at the same time. I give it a B+, not juicy , a little dry. Needs more sauce. Both dishes comes with sauce. We will never come back! But if you want to get that tourist vibe out of your system then this is the spot and spend money for overpriced food then by all means come through Gorgeous aesthetics! It was great during the day, but at the night it must look better.
Be the first to Replyfresh sushi but no specialty rolls
Great ambiance. Seated on the 2nd floor with lots of steps, but they do have an elevator. Sushi tasted ultra fresh but were priced a little high. No specialty rolls.

Great food and great venue. Daughters birthday and weren’t disappointed. Staff knowledgeable and great advice on menu. Food amazing. Slightly on the expensive side but was a special occasion.
