It's a classic in Hollywood! Been coming here for years and won't stop . The food and atmosphere are always on point. You feel like you have stepped in the 1940's . Such an elegant place to eat and drink, perfect for date nights .

My third time here and it was fantastic! From the service to the meal, I can't recommend it highly enough

This restaurant is basically the only reason a local should spend any time on that main stretch of Hollywood Blvd. It is one of the things that makes our town what it is. Oh, and the steak is great too! Go with any of the old-school classics and you won't be mad about it: my favorite sides are the mushrooms and the mashed potatoes.

Enjoyed Donny with 1 other Besties. Started with Real Dirty Martinis extra olives and that great sidecar Ordered Scallops so sweet and delicious with asparagus and potatoes Au gratin delectable!! Friends had rib eye that was amazing and spaghetti Like in Italy. Atmosphere was super exciting and over all always a treat. Unfortunately stayed a little over 3 hours and $14 parking became $25 plus tip. No fun but Now we know park elsewhere or leave without extra drinks and desserts
Be the first to ReplyLA native, first time visiting the restaurant.
It was refreshing to experience nice hospitality from all the staff. Our waiter Benjamin was top notch ~was thorough with his recommendations, attentive to requests and made sure we had a great night! The martinis were strong and a good value (considering the extra serving). We got the ribeye and it was fantastic ~ well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back. Big thanks to Benjamin.
Be the first to ReplyThe atmosphere was nostalgic with a feel of classiness.
The Roast Prime Rib Of Beef with a baked potato and Filet Mignon were prepared just to our liking, and the savory sides (Truffled Mac & Cheese and asparagus) were just the right amount of portions to share family style. The waiters were very attentive. Recommend for a special occasion.

It doesn't get any better than this place! After reading all the reviews our dinner and service was Eblen better than I expected - and I expected a lot. My Martini was perfect, my NY steak was flavorful and just the way I ordered. The accompanying Caesar salad was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and our service couldn't have been better.
Be the first to ReplyA Hollywood classic and always worth the visit.
I love the martini's and every dish is yummy. I urge everyone visiting LA to get a table here because it is legendary and delicious. Locals already know what a treasure it is. Make reservations - tables are quickly taken.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have had the pleasure of dining at many fine establishments throughout my career, but none quite compare to the timeless elegance and culinary mastery of Musso and Frank's Grill. From the moment you step through its hallowed doors, you are transported back to a bygone era of glamour and sophistication. The walls are adorned with photographs of Hollywood's elite, and the red leather booths exude a sense of comfort and luxury. But let us not forget the true star of the show: the food. The menu is a celebration of classic American cuisine, with dishes like the bone-in ribeye and the lobster thermidor leaving an indelible mark on my taste buds. And the service? Impeccable. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, attentive, and always happy to offer a recommendation or a witty quip.In short, Musso and Frank's Grill is a true gem of the culinary world. It is a place where memories are made, and legends are born. I urge you to experience it for yourself.
Be the first to ReplyThe history is rich here.
Jacketed, surfers, excellent, cocktails, and old school food and ambience.
Be the first to ReplyFirst, the service was great and everyone was very nice.
I knew we'd spend money and I was fine with that. But there's a point when a restaurant crosses the line and you feel like they're taking advantage of you. That was the case at Musso and Franks. I was ok paying $16 for a martini, $49 for rib eye steak (it was just ok), and $13 for a backed potato, but when they charged me $8 for a very small side of steak sauce, they crossed that line and I felt taken advantage of. I knew we'd spend money, but I did not expect to feel taken advantage of. That is the reason why I do not recommend this restaurant.

They could only sell cheese sandwiches and it would be worth it for the history and ambiance.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is delicious, beautiful and a piece of history.
Musso & Frank never disappoints! The Original Fettuccine Alfredo is literally chef's kiss!!! The sourdough bread that comes with it is the cherry on top! Everyone is so nice here! I will be back every time I'm in Hollywood!

The Original Fettuccine Alfredo is the best you'll ever have! Ask for the sourdough bread that they bring to be heated up on the grill....its awesome! Nicolas is a great server, if you get him you won't be disappointed! Everytime I visit Hollywood, I'm coming here for dinner!

Last night my husband and I were at Musso and fFrank's for dinner. The food is always impeccable. The service has always been impeccable ...until last night. We were seated back in one of the beautiful new overflow, party rooms. The rooms are very nice and they fit well with the decor of the restaurant. The waiter we had was reasonably accommodating and pleasant at first. He took our drink orders and brought them to us while we looked over the menus. My husband ordered a glass of wine with dinner and the waiter did not even ask if I wanted anything at all. When he came back with a glass of wine, I asked for a coffee. the bus person promptly removed the empty plates and asked if we would like to see a dessert menu. Not once during our entire meal, did the waiter check back with us to see if we were enjoying our food or if there was anything else he could bring to our table. This was a first for us. Moments later our waiter returned and just literally dropped the dessert menus on the table. Leaving not even a comment that he would be back to take our dessert menu...nothing. At the end of the meal we did not even get so much as a thank you. This is not the type of service that we have been a custom to over the past six or seven times we've eaten at Musso and frank. Hopefully this poor service is just an anomaly.

Musso and franks is till going strong! Had a delightful evening, was seated immediately at the counter and enjoyed a delicious ribeye! I recommend sitting at the counter; you really get to see the artistry at the grill!!

If you want excellent service and friendly staff, (and are in Hollywood) I highly recommend. Their food is also great. Pretty much everything on the menus is delicious.
Be the first to ReplyClassic Hollywood restaurant with a menu of classic dishes.
The menu includes daily specials as well. Can't get a booth or table? The full menu is available at a counter and bar food at the bar. Waiters are classically attired, of course, friendly and efficient. Some may think it's a bit touristy but even for locals it's a fun night out. If you're a fan of the character Harry Bosch in Michael Connelly's novels, this is Bosch's favorite watering hole.
Be the first to ReplyBest steaks, classic blue cheese wedge and baked potatoes
Best steaks, classic blue cheese wedge and baked potatoes in the city, all served in a fun, 100 year old, historical landmark restaurant to compliment the food!Honestly the best martinis in the city and you get a another pour with a shaker side car they serve with it!A must try for a taste of old school Los Angeles!!
Be the first to ReplyMusso and Frank is a classic for a reason.
Their attention to details. The quality & taste of their food and drink is superb. The waitstaff have been there forever and they are the absolute best at what they do. You feel pampered, cosseted, and supremely satisfied with every aspect of your experience. The setting is old school Rat Pack chic. Clean, spotless table settings, sparkling glassware, subdued lighting to make anyone beautiful, and background music that only seals the deal. A special occasion at Musso & Frank is just that, a one of a kind occasion to remember and talk about for years.Yeah, this review is a love letter but there couldn't be a more deserving recipient.

We were prepared to be disappointed and disillusioned since it's so legendary, but the service was excellent (the waiter doted on us) and the food was tasty and satisfying. Real old-style restaurant but not shabby, just nicely burnished and historic.
Be the first to ReplyI have been dining at Musso's for over 45 years.
Domingo is my 3rd chef at the counter during that time. The flannel cakes are the best! During the Pandemic, they closed for lunch on Saturday's & never reopened. I called one day to ask why they never reopened for lunch & the gentlemen claimed that the offices weren't open in that area, they never were on a Saturday. All I ever saw were the regulars that had been coming there for years. I was given a $500.00 gift certificate that I refuse to use until I can once again have my flannel cakes! Sincerely, Karen M.
