Best Thai restaurant in London!
From the moment you walk in you know you’re entering an authentic Thai place. We were warmly greeted by Apple who showed us to our table. The décor is intimate and truly exhibits Thai culture. The menu is extensive and everything looked delicious, making it hard to decide what to order. The food is beautifully presented and tasted amazing (as good as Thai food gets outside of Thailand). What really enhanced the whole experience was the attentiveness of the team. They really delivered an exceptional service and the manager Noy came towards the end of the dinner to ensure that we had a pleasant time. Well done to Noy and her team! I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely have to go back to try more dishes! Best Thai restaurant in London by far!

We are regular customers, visiting every time we are in London, and always get a warm welcome from Kaseam or Noy - a couple of dedicated front-of-house professionals. And last but not least, the food. The Head Chef, Sanguan, is just real-deal. If you want to eat genuine Thai then this is the benchmark - right down to the fresh pea aubergines!! I love this restaurant……

Amazing!! Looked after by the wonderful Noy. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal.
Be the first to ReplyAppalling service, food mediocre and manager incredibly rude
Went to this restaurant for mothers day (19th March 23) and it was a massive disappointment. Decor lovely but service appalling. Incredibly slow and not attentive at all. Food average. At the end of the night was given someone elses bill. Then we were given our bill with several extras on it which we did not have. Revised bill came which still included three bottles of water instead o f two and manager (who spoken incredibly loud) said we had 3. We were prepared to just pay for them to save any further embarrassment and could not wait to get out of there. Would not recommend at all as there are much better Thai restaurants, its over priced, service appalling, manager rude and food at best mediocre. Go to Thai Square.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful restaurant, excellent staff, excellent Thai food
Our second time eating here. The staff and service is excellent, food was beautiful, surroundings are exquisite.
Be the first to ReplyAverage food very poor service
Arrived on a Friday night for our reservation. We’re seated by a nice gentleman who took our drinks order. We ordered a 2009 Dom Perignon at £195, the bottle was slightly cold not child and the glasses were warm and had to be changed. We ordered a mix, roughly 12 starter dishes. The food was ok, not fantastic and was not that hot just warm. We then ordered about 8/9 main dishes and this was the real problem. 2 dishes came out then nothing for 4/5 minutes then 3 more dishes then another 4/5 minutes for a couple more then 5 minutes later the Rice arrived. So by the time the rice came out the other food was stone cold. We had to repeatedly ask for more drinks and it was at least 20 minutes after finishing our food that our plates were cleared. Our bill was over £600 for three people and honestly hand on heart I would say the food was was average at best and the service poor. We love Thai food and this was the first time visiting this restaurant but will definitely be our last time. When we went to pay the bill we had cash on us so I counted it out in front of the lady taking payment to which she then said it’s card payment please. I asked why card payment not cash and she said we like card payment. I said can you not take cash. She then said we can but can you please pay by card. I informed her that I had drawn cash out earlier for the meal and would be paying with cash. She walked away, she never said thanks while taking payment and as we walked out she completely blanked us and no one said good night or thanks for dinning with us. Really poor all round

My 2 friends and I enjoyed a great night here whilst down in London for The Calcutta Cup ( that`s the Calcutta Cup we won ) we chose one of the set menus and wine pairings and enjoyed down to the last grain of rice. Very friendly and welcoming staff and well led by one of London`s best Restaurant Managers - Kaseam

Authentic Thai food in a 5 star setting over looking Hyde Park. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to in the world.

We arrived and were greeted and seated promptly by friendly welcoming staff. Our Order for food and drinks were taken in a timely fashion and we didn’t have to wait for either to arrive. Every table was full but is was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was lovely and we fully enjoyed our 3 courses. Couldn’t fault the portions sizes or flavour.

I visited this hotel for a meal at their elegant Nipa Thai restaurant, followed by drinks at the Lounge Bar. The Thai food was authentic, and tasty and the staff were friendly. I really felt like I was having a meal at a nice restaurant in Thailand. I cannot praise the staff and chefs highly enough. I will definitely be back soon! Thanks to the team.

We enjoyed the CHIANG MAI meal in June 2022! Fantastic food, excellent service, good value for money. We will certainly be back!!
Be the first to ReplyPleasant meal in hotel restaurant
We had a good meal here but I have to admit from the reviews on here I didn’t realise this restaurant is situated within a hotel. Which of course means it is top end prices. Staff were polite. Restaurant was busy, slightly lacking in atmosphere, food was good but have to say I’ve had better at our favourite Thai in Maidstone. And yes it was expensive!

2nd time bac here again, the restaurant is beautiful and food is amazing. The staff are very attentive and help you create a memorable evening. Would definitely go back again.
Be the first to ReplySuperb food, welcoming staff and great location!
We visited last week to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The food was exquisite with each course being beautifully presented with wonderful flavours. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very warm, welcoming and relaxed. We had a lovely window table in the panelled restaurant overlooking Hyde park. Following the desserts my husband was presented with a taster plate of cakes with a candle whilst they sang Happy Birthday to him. This was a love surprise because it hadn’t been requested! Wouldn’t hestitate to recommend Nipa Thai - we will certainly return! Superb!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing service. Our business dinner was a success
We had private hire for a business dinner - 30+ people. It was a real success as we received so much great feedback from our guests. I would like to thank the team for looking after us on the evening, amazing food and hospitality.

Be the first to ReplyAmazing Hotel, But…
Amazing stay. Hotel rooms where so beautiful and the view and sun rise in the morning was almost like we where on holiday. I would have given it 5 stars but the Nipa Thai restaurant really let us down. The atmosphere and food was very average, it almost ruined me and my partners mood and experience. The restaurant definitely needs more staff as the one lady seemed very stressed and not as attentive as I expected from a restaurant of that standard. I returned my first main and swapped it for something else, but unfortunately I was still unhappy with what came. We paid quite a bit of money but the standard did not match the price. However, the hotel was amazing and the male staff at the Cafe afternoon tea was absolutely amazing. He certainly made our stay feel much better and was very bubbly and welcoming. The door man was very kind and would greet us every morning and open our doors with a smile. Thank you for the lovely experience despite the negative review on the NIPA Thai restaurant.
Be the first to Replyi know Thai food, and the experience here was truly authentic!
I felt like I was still in Thailand, from the graceful service, to the authentic Thai menu. Restaurant is cosy, so make sure you make reservations in advance, to avoid disappointment

We visited Nipa Thai at the Royal Lancaster recently, to celebrate my Sister in law's birthday. To say we all had a fantastic evening is an understatement!
The dishes we chose were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented (my mixed seafood curry was outstanding). We left at the end of the evening planning to return - and soon.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with wood panelling, authentic carvings and
decor, and the staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. The service was excellent.
Highly recommended.
Best Thai in London
Our party had a superb dinner at Nipa Thai to celebrate our daughter's birthday.
4 vegetarians and 2 carnivores all loved our choices - the herbal seabass and coco scallop curry got particular rave reviews. Service was friendly and efficient.
Thai colombar wine was a first for me and perfect accompaniment. Wonderful evening
Mum’s 70th Meal
A great evening here-a special place that made my Mum’s birthday!
The place is divine, feels really posh without being ridiculously expensive. The host and staff went out of their way to make it Special for my Mum.
The food was tasty and the ambiance was great too. 100% recommend!
Lovely service and food
We were staying at the Royal Lancaster and dined here one night, wonderful service from very attentive manager and fantastic food.
Definitely worth a visit.
