Fantastic, fresh and flavorful
Just as amazing as always. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is always fresh and flavorful. Nishiki is our go to place for special occasions because we know Cindy and Queena will always take care of us. Fantastic!
Be the first to ReplyFreshest Sushi with the best wait staff in the area!!
We have just moved into the East Greenbush area and sushi is our favorite food for dining out. We were concerned that we may not be up to finding a sushi restaurant that would meet our more demanding expectations. But Nishiki Sushi far exceeded any of our expectations and has already become our favorite sushi restaurant ever. The menu is extensive, the sushi the frestest around and the chefs are masters of prepartion and presentation. The owner/manager is exceptionally friendly, helpful and attentive…always available for assistance without being intrusive. The pricing is exceptionally reasonable and take out is available (and popular)…but eating in is also a great experience. We’re so excited that we’ve found this wonderful jem and have already made it our “go to” restaurant went we want to eat out. Definitely eat here and enjoy!

So how has Nishiki not been reviewed for so long? Don't know. Our experience tonight was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Rock Shrimp and Age Tofu appetizers were wonderful. The "Sushi for 2" was amazing. Service was friendly and efficient. One of the best sushi places in the area.

My wife and I visit a couple times a month. Food is fresh and the place is immaculate. Great service from hard working staff. Try the teriyaki Salmon. Yum

A bit pricy but if you want good sushi you pay the price for freshness! Very good food and friendly service
Be the first to ReplyPretty tasty sushi for a strip mall
My daughter and I go to lunch here or get takeout regularly. It is clean and reasonably priced, and the sushi is fresh and skilfully prepared. Service in house can be spotty in house and compared to other places the roll selection is a bit plain and limited. But overall a pretty darn solid spot for sushi in E.G,

Looks very simple, as it's in a strip mall, but Nishiki is a winner. Great creative menu, wonderful food, and surprisingly inexpensive. As a business traveller I ate in, but most people were taking out. Plenty of seats. If you are in the area, it's really good.

We visit quite often for Japanese food. Their food is always fresh and really delicious. They have a wonderful menu and have the best sushi in town.
Be the first to ReplyDecent sushi option in the local area
Set in a strip mall on the main road running through East Greenbush, this is a decent option for Japanese food, whether to eat in or for take out. The decor is nondescript, but the service is attentive. We popped in for lunch, and later in the week called for take out dinner. The lunch specials here are a good value for a couple of maki rolls and soup. The nabeyaki udon was a large portion and also good for lunch. For dinner we ordered a wide array of 10 different specialty rolls, all were delicious but expensive at @$13-15/roll. The sushi platter for two was huge and contained plenty of fish but sliced much too thick. Sushi and sashimi should be slivered not in chunks. The teriyaki chicken breast was spot on. All in all, this restaurant serves decent quality food at decent prices and is conveniently located if you are looking for a local place in East Greenbush.
