THE brunch in Doha
Best food, view, service and value for money in Doha. Excellent and attentive service from Tyrese. We didn’t book it as a birthday surprise for my husband but Tyrese picked up on it in conversation and delivered an exquisite birthday cake for him. Thank you for a wonderful day.
Friday brunch at Nobu - a must!
We visited for Friday Brunch. The starter buffet with all kind of sushi and sashimi is outstanding. Everything is very tasty and super fresh. Our waiter Tyrese was very attentive and served us very well. Headchef Andrew Bozoki recognized us from our last years visit and took some time to chat to us. As a main we had Black Cod and sirloin beef - both very specially seasoned and again very tasty.
Best Japanese Cuisine
This place has the most amazing Japanese cuisine with a Qatar twist. The Sushi was fabulous, the service brilliant and the setting beautiful
Great food as always
We’ve been going to every Nobu in whichever city or country we’ve been, and I’d say, never dissapoints. The foods are always amazing and the staffs are very friendly and attentive.
Go for the views only…
We decided to give Nobu a chance despite the previous reviews on our first night in Doha. It’s almost on site and considered a part of Four Seasons where we stayed. To be brief, service was non existent. It took 45 minutes to sort out our first round of cocktails. We had to find our waiter to place our food order and he never checked back on us to see how things were. We had to flag another staff member for a second drink and she brought us our check. The food was good, but for the prices, it was nothing special or at any level above ordinary. Certainly not up to Four Seasons standards of quality and service.
Average because of entertainer deal maybe?
After a luxurious shuttle (5series) from the main hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff and decided to have some happy hr cocktails in the lounge area before proceeding to the terrace area to eat. Unfortunately, the food on the Kaiseki menu was geared up for entertainer menu and both the entre and main dishes were very average. The starters were very greasy. The main was very average. Rolls and sashimi were beautiful and dessert was also good both made for the best parts of the meal. As we were not very pleased with the quality of the dishes they offered a nice raspberry sake to finish the meal. Nevertheless, would not recommend the Kaiseki entertainer deal. Overall Price way too high compared with quality
Go for the view!
We had a lovely time here over Christmas. The top floor bar is a must visit, with incredible views from the outside terrace. The inside of the restaurant is quite cool, and the outside dining area is lovely (a little cold but they provided blankets). Service was good and the food was delicious. The nasu miso and cod were stand out dishes.
Visit to Nobu Doha in December 2023
My experience at Nobu Doha was a bit mixed. While the ambiance and cuisine were undoubtedly noteworthy, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the service. It was noticeably slow and lacked the attentiveness I anticipated. Unfortunately, I also encountered an issue with missing starters, which impacted the overall dining experience. Despite these setbacks, the flavors of the dishes I did receive were exceptional, showcasing the culinary prowess Nobu is known for. With a bit of improvement in service efficiency, the restaurant could truly offer an outstanding dining experience.
I wouldn't recommend. Many better options around in Doha.
Wasn't a fan. Black Miso Cod was good but overpriced but similar to other major cities. There are other restaurants in Doha that do the same. Caviar tartar was atrocious. Definitely would not recommend. Beef tenderloin skewers are so and so. Very unclear on Entertainer pricing as well.

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
