THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!
This place is definitely a 10 out of 10 👏🏻 I had never had the experience I had at Nossa Omakase before and what a wonderful experience, honestly from the entrance of the place to the dessert at the end everything was impeccable!!! The service without words, the food a total spectacle and the atmosphere was something that I definitely have to experience again in this unique place! Grateful to the chef for his incredible wisdom about each dish I ate and to the staff for paying attention to every detail throughout the night! The truth is that I highly recommend them because they are simply the best 👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you very much and see you next time!
Be the first to ReplyThe best Omakasse by far!
Until now I have not had a better experience. The place, the food, the music, the hosts, the care of every detail. From the secret key to pass through the small door at the end of a hidden corridor, passing through the carefully lit room, the pleasant and intimate conversation with the chef, the hostess and the other diners, to the succession of moments that overflow each of the senses. Each dish became my favorite!!

An amazing experience. Every bite was special. The chef himself is entertaining and the meal is a show. Have your camera ready.

Nossa Omakase Miami Beach Faux-makase! Fake Omakase Faux-makase! (Fake omakase) is exactly what it is. Self proclaimed “non traditional omakase.” Also know as slow-makase. I was recommended this restaurant by my hotel concierge. Had a horrible experience here. Should have known since they require pre-payment online via tock then they will ask you to pay a ridiculous and mandatory 20% service charge plus tax after your “meal.” After payment, you will receive an email which says “The day of your reservation you will receive an email with instructions to access to the speakeasy bar.” However, I never received any email. I put nossa into google and it took me to the filthy, run down Hyatt centric hotel. I went inside and asked where the restaurant was and they took me through a stinky alley next to the hotel trash room said to knock the door. This made me extremely uncomfortable and almost decided to just leave. Little did I know the horror I was about to experience. I knocked the door and a lady asked for the password so I gave my last name on the reservation. She didn’t open and kept asking for a password. I demanded she open the door and gave my last name on the reservation. She said I should have received instructions on a paper from another restaurant on the other side of the street which I was not informed of. She said I was late and that they already started so she showed me to my seat. The room felt like a sewer with too many people crammed around a dirty scratched up bar. I was in group 11 which means there were at least 20 guests there. The music was horrendous and unbearable. The ambiance was very creepy. I was offered a welcome drink which I opted for a sparking water which was not sparking at all as it was flat without bubbles so they brought me a bottle instead. They didn’t ask about any allergies and handed me the first course which I had to spit out because it contained alcohol which I don’t drink. The chef kept inaudibly shouting out the descriptions of the dishes for each course towards different corners of the room in an attempt for everyone to hear but you only hear and understand the words which were said in your direction. All the ingredients were old and not fresh. The food did not taste good. The portions were tiny so don’t think you’ll be full when you leave here by any means. The place is extremely unsanitary. The chef even wipes your plates using the same towel as the previous groups one after another. I was absolutely disgusted. Finally the last course came and again I was served alcohol without being told what it was. Luckily the chef caught it before I could drink it and replaced it with iced tea. I asked if we’re were finished and she said yes. The experience was a complete waste of time so we were happy to walk out and leave. The lady chased us on our way out and said there was an additional payment to be made for gratuity and tax. I asked if this was mandatory and she answered yes. Mind you this was never communicated before. She also said she didn’t have a wireless credit card machine so I gave her my physical card to go swipe and come back. The chef came out, handed me my receipt and credit card then asked: “Is there a reason why you’re unhappy.” I answered: Yes, I didn’t enjoy the experience. He shrugged his shoulders and replied: “I’m sorry but unfortunately not everybody does, I guess” I was shocked and just stormed out. Exit left next to the trash room, literally.
Be the first to ReplyIn this Case believe the Hype !! Its a delicious experience.
It’s definitely an experience, we had the pleasure of joining chef on a Tuesday for our date night. My wive is a huge fan of nigiri and we decided to try the nigiri menu. The range from saba to uni, aged tuna and other goodies. All the preparations were perfect no complaints there i could have used more edge on some dishes but the manu was tailored that night without edge on purpose for a guest of the chef. Ultimately its a recommended experience. The sous-vide egg is absolutely mouth watering delicious. Ps. Add a Moscow Mule style drink.

Fantastic! In our opinion as good as Masa (in New York) in Miami; and maybe better. This is Omakase with a twist. Not boring. What an amazing surprise dinner. Something like 17 small courses of the most amazing food. Service spot on. Ambiance spot on. Not easy getting a reservation, but plan ahead. You will happy you did.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely phenomenal start to finish
I have had the privilege of eating at many amazing Japanese restaurants, around the world as well as in Japan. Nossa Omakase is right up near Narisawa in terms of how amazing it is. The food here is unique - you won't find anywhere else like it. For example, one of the items was "Jidori cream chicarron with caviar" - who would think of such a dish? The service was flawless. I loved the "secret entrance", having to wait in the speakeasy bar, then when you enter the dining area everyone sits at the bar around the chef. All of the ingredients were absolutely top notch. The restaurant is absolutely focused on providing a great experience. If you can go here, do so.

My husband and I went here last night for our anniversary dinner and were absolutely blown away! It was so much fun to get our private letter at the sushi restaurant out front with a description of how to find the “hidden” door and the password to get in! Upon entering we were taken back to another time, the bar has prohibition era movies playing on the walls and the bartender poured us the smoothest sake I’ve ever had. The staff was wonderful and welcomed us with open arms and made sure we understood what the night entailed.we became quick friends with the 2 other couples we were sharing our experience with. Once it was time to head to the main dining room we were escorted down a hall to a sliding door that dramatically swooped open to reveal a “stage” a kitchen, artistically decorated dining area, and our master chefs. Every dish was delicious work of art, masterfully crafted before our eyes and described in detail by our chef. There were spices I had never heard of and kitchen appliances I had never seen. It was not just the best dinner my husband and I have ever had, it was a show that rivals those you would see in Vegas. The staff even made sure to add special features to celebrate our anniversary. We left with full hearts, happy bellies and stories we laughed and relived the rest of the night. We can’t wait to return here on our next trip to Miami!
