I was looking forward to some fine dining but got mediocre meal with lots of bread and desserts. Dining room is nice and comfortable but nothing fancy. My Girlfriend and I opted for the Grand Tasting 9 course menu $295 and we started with the Beet Root which is a Red Cabbage Gazpacho. It's super tiny maybe 1-2 bites and it tastes ok. Second course was the Caviar Composition which was the best dish with scallop and lobster. Tiny portion but delicious. Third course is Abalone which wasn't so good. Kind of chewy and nothing special. Didn't enjoy it at all. They do bring out a bread tray with different choices for each course. Fourth course was the Langoustine which was presented nicely and tastes excellent. Good to dip your bread in the broth. Fifth course is the Wild Turbot with Swiss chard, mushrooms and Truffle Emulsion. The Turbot was dry and uninspiring and anyone can cook a better piece of fish at home. Big disappointment! Sixth course is Chapon which is fancy word for Chicken roasted with Foie Gras. This tasted like a can of Costco chicken and was barely edible. Seventh course is a Citrus w/ silky lemon cream, grapefruit compote and clementine sorbet. It's just Sorbet can get anywhere. Eight course is Chocolate & Coffee Entremet which is a fancy chocolate cake and tiny scoop of Espresso ice cream. By now I've had too much Dessert and can't finish it. Ninth course is the Mignardises Cart which is a Dessert Cart with lots of chocolates to choose from but so full that they pack you a small container to take home. We also had a French White Wine $105 which was pretty good and tip included on bill 20% for total of about $900. Overall the dishes were quite small and only enjoyed Caviar and Langoustine. The others weren't good quality and last 3 courses were desserts . Not sure how they can justify $295/person for this menu. Service was great which is why 2 star and not 1 star.
