My ABCDining group went to dinner last evening at OhLaLa French Bistro. There were 26 of us, the food was wonderful as was the wine and the desserts, all made there, we're amazing. Richard, the owner definitely has many new customers to his great restaurant. The staff is very friendly and on top of service no one wanted for anything. It's a small restaurant so the ambiance is wonderful as well. Go enjoy this wonderful restaurant . Five stars Richard to OHLALA French Bistro. Jeannie Tully.

We had dinner last night and the service was great!! Our table was ready when we arrived on time. We had the escargot and roasted beet salad both dishes were FABULOUS. We tried the duck with a mustard sauce on the side. This was the BEST duck we've had in Las Vegas!! The owner came to the table after each course to make sure we enjoyed the dish. Can't say enough about the service .... everything arrived at the right temperature and great presentation. We will be back soon as we are so happy we found this place!!!t

Was visiting Las Vegas for the President's day weekend and like to try something off the Strip. This place came up on Yelp and their menu and photos were pleasing to my eyes. We came here on a Saturday for lunch and it did not fail. There were 4 of us and we tried their escargot, beef tartare, Royal charcuterie, Moules Marnieres,, Brie burger, Flank steak and salmon pasta .The escargots were so good with their garlic butter, so we kept dipping bread in the sauce . The beef tartare was ok according to my son, since it was a bit too rare for my own taste . The Royal charcuterie board was this wow effect on us . There was so much to share ! My favorite was the smoked duck. There was so much food on this board that it seemed everyone kept picking on it throughout our meal. we ended up sending our guest home with a box of the leftover .The Moules Marineres was ok, but maybe the mussels were slightly over cooked . The sauce was delicious however and more bread went in for a dip.The Brie burger was impressive and big. My son thought there was too much cheese, but I took a bite and Ioved it !! Just the right amount of cheese for me .I think the best dish was the flank steak with the red wine shallot wine sauce . So juicy and flavorful! Our guest had the salmon pasta and she said it was good . What I thought was a very generous portion , she finished the whole dish ! So I guess this must be good .We were pretty full , but opt to share their chocolate mousse in the end. It was good, but maybe we were too full to finish the whole mousse .Definitely a place I would like to come back again next time we are in town .It was some very tough decisions to pick the dishes because there are so many dishes I would love to try ....
Be the first to ReplyI was very curious about this particular restaurant.
I pass it daily when I make my Starbucks run. A group of friends and I went to brunch there on a Saturday. The decor is beautiful, it's not reminiscent of old France but of Las Vegas with elegant swing. The food was lovely and great flavors. I had a salmon croissant with bottomless mimosas. My friend had the escargot and quiche, she enjoyed both. The service was epic. They were very attentive. I say this is a beautiful place to go for a date or just a lovely brunch.

All the food was excellent and service was wonderful!! We had a party of 4 and all thought everything was wonderful. Is a small restaurant and the ambiance was perfect. It was easy to visit, not too loud. Was worth the drive from the Las Vegas strip. We will definitely return when we go back to Las Vegas.

Was going to be in the area and was looking for a place for lunch. What a hidden gem this is.We were so pleased to have found Ohlala for lunch. We had french onion soup on the agenda, and it did NOT disappoint. Ended up also ordering the beet salad and a couple of brie burgers. Let's just say, we'd make the drive from Henderson back to here for another meal.Place is very unassuming from the exterior, but was a delight in very sense once inside. Reservations are recommended, can't wait to go back and try their brunch. They even do bottomless mimosas. Alex was a terrific ambassador of Ohlala.

A little hidden gem!My husband and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary at Oh la la Bistro, and Brandy was our server, she was very sweet, efficient and knowledgable. Our meal was delicious, I started with the special of the night appetizer, Gorgonzola stuffed dates on a bed of arugula with lemon vinaigrette dressing, my husband had the Escargot and they were delicious as well. For our main course I chose FILET MIGNON SAUCE POIVRE VERTBeef filet mignon with cream green pepper sauce and mashed potatoes. My fillet was cooked to perfection! My husband chose BAVETTE a L'ECHALOTTEFlank steak with red wine, shallot sauce and french fries. It was also cooked to perfection. They brought us a crème brûlée after dinner ( a gift from Brandy for our anniversary) and it also was very tasty.Overall it was a wonderful experience and we'll become regulars.I highly recommend you visit. You will not regret it.

Wow! Richard; the Chef truly helped me out of a jamb! After a miscommunication on my part he suggested a solution and then went to work at 4am the next morning to accommodate my party of 26. The food was fantastic, all of my guest thoroughly enjoyed each of the dishes he prepared. Richard is very kind and knows how to provide the best possible customer service. Go there for brunch......soon!

Pros: Great friendly staff that are passionate about the food.Very reasonably priced menu and wine.French Onion Soup was quite good.Carbonara was delicious.Cons: Wifes Cornish hen was very small portion and "OK"Front entrance needs some serious redesign. It is odd and unwelcoming but also creates a big draft if windy.Overall I will be recommending this place to my friends and plan to return soon for another great experience.

I ordered the steak frites as takeout and it was mouthwatering and one of the best dinners! I can't wait to dine in person.
Be the first to ReplyWent for lunch with 2 girlfriends, hoping for a lovely meal.
I've been to dinner here with my husband, always a top-notch meal.We were 3 of only 5 people in the restaurant (mid-week, 12:30). Server was very rushed, clearly wayyyy too much caffeine. She walked away in the middle of my order and returned with 2 entrees, not having 'heard' mine (my gf confirmed I clearly stated Shepard's Pie)-- how does this happen? Slow down, Abbie** Listen to your customers' meal order.Warmed Goat Cheese was not warm, not even close--yet the pistacchios made up for the temp. Shephard's Pie delicious and a friend's Salmon Sandwich very fresh. We ordered desserts-- all different ones-- the choc mousse was like a hockey puck--I took 2 bites, that's it. Terrible. My friend ordered the Creme Brulee and said 'at a French bistro, you'd think they'd get Brulee right?!' Another disappointment-- bottom half almost frozen, top hot and burnt. Abbie was def off her game-- mid-meal, before dessert, the table was so wet, actual pools of water (from 6 glasses of iced drinks)--I actually had to ask her to wipe down the table before bringing the dessert. She did so with an ice cold look. Whatttt? No, I did not enjoy having to ask*If the owner would offer Customer Service Training to Abbie, perhaps it would not have been such a disappointing visit. She would have returned to the table to check in after serving. Often the server makes all the difference--we agreed we would not return for lunch. Both service and food were 'off'*
Be the first to ReplyI love French food and wanted to get it for dinner for one
I love French food and wanted to get it for dinner for one of the nights I was in town. My party and I didn't have extreme high expectations for this place since we had a bad experience from the last French restaurant when I visited Vegas last...but boy this place did not disappoint at all! It exceeded our expectations. Everything was so good and tasty! We also went on a Sunday night and didn't know their wine bottles would be half off! We ended up ordering 2 wine bottles for the table. My party ordered their French onion soup, escargots, royal board, warm crusted goat cheese, baked brie, beef tartare, duck magret, and sauteed salmon. We asked to refill our bread basket so we can spread some of the food we ordered on it. The must orders are the French onion soup and warm crusted goat cheese. The pate that the royal board comes with is really tasty as well. I wasn't a huge fan of the baked brie or sauteed salmon - I would skip ordering those next time. Everything else was delicious! It was very filling for 4 people. We had to stuff ourselves in order to finish it.

Small but Quaint. My friend and I just had Appetizers Everything was great. The pistachio and goat cheese was awesome. The entrees look great next time I will try the Sole heard it was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is amazing.
We all ordered the French Onion Soup and thought it was wonderful. I ordered the Bavette and it was tender and perfectly cooked with a bright and tasty shallot sauce. My friends ordered the Sole, which had a lovely brown butter sauce, and the Duck, which had a delicious mustard sauce. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful in suggesting menu items. Also, the ambience was wonderful - it was simple, elegant, and intimate. We will absolutely be returning!
Be the first to ReplyWow!! What a hidden gem.
Strange strip mall setting is deceptive. Inside is all cute bistro. Mussels in cream sauce were a generous portion and yummy. My dinner companion loved the sole. Chocolate sundae type dessert was the "best he's ever had". A little disappointed with the lemon tarts, been in the fridge too long. Found great French wine list. We'll be back. Server Hend was charming.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice restaurant in Summerlin.
Great food, cozy atmosphere and a nice wine list all without paying strip prices
Be the first to ReplyWonderfully quaint bistro.
The owner/chef is very attentive to the customers. Multiple times he was noted to be rounding the restaurant and inquiring of the customers as to their experience and the food. He also mentioned that there were multiple regulars there the evening we were there. We started talking to the couple sitting next to us who were originally from France and have lived in Las Vegas for 28 years. They frequent the restaurant and had wonderful things to say about it. I think that says a lot about the excellent quality of a restaurant when that happens. Would highly recommend the restaurant if you are looking for some good quality French food and a nice evening.

If you're looking for some good French food with a nice presentation, good ambiance and good prices then this is the place :) I also had a pate plate but I forgot to take a photo of it!

Pros: The French Onion Soup was absolutely delicious as was the Lemon Tart dessert The service was very friendly and efficient. Cons:The chairs were metal and uncomfortable. We both order a hamburger but unfortunately we both only ate 2 bites because the hamburgers were room temperate (not even a little bit warm) and tasted like they were maybe frozen and steamed? Unfortunately we won't be back.
Be the first to ReplyIt was my first time there tonight.
The food and service is amazing. The owner is there and understands that food, service and value are everything. I would recommend this bistro to everyone. I will be back!

Doesn't look like much from the outside as a restaurant but walking in and you see this cute dining room of 40 seats (6 of which are the bar) very straight forward menu with some good options to choose. Started with the beet salad with orange and goat cheese and the Brie croquettes with baby arugula salad. Both had really good taste, refreshing and flavorful. Followed with French onion soup, small beef tartare and smoked salmon on a toasted croissant with crème fraiche and lemon. Tartare was on point with flavor and the sliced warm baguette bread was perfect. Onion soup was very flavorful and just enough Gruyère with a cheese pull! Finished with their creme brûlée. Pure indulgence. Can't wait to come back and try some of the entrees and other appetizers. I'll be back for sure
