Rude Staff
The manager is super rude, low quality service. I do not recommend it at ALL. Someone was choking and instead of helping him, they asked him to leave.

Worst dining experience in my life. Greeted by saying you have a 2 hour dining time. Waited 1/2 hour to even order. Brought wrong water. Filet mignon was cold. Salads for other couple with us brought 15 minutes after our soup was delivered. Our soups were tainted and we were sick all night. Manager was trying to correct mistakes by compensating with extra wine and free dessert. Extended our dining time due to all the delays.

Located in Caesarโs Palace, this steakhouse is not to be missed! The portions are huge and delicious! The meat was so tender. The highlight was the side of Lobster Mac and Cheese. While our group ordered a variety of items, everyone was beyond pleasedโฆโฆsalads, meats, and sidesโฆ..to top it off, the eight of us all worked on a single piece of (huge) chocolate cake that was mouthwatering. The service was also 5star! Several in our group ate there another night while we were there. We will be back!

Old Homestead at Caesars Palace is a great place to go for quality steak and much more. I really like the location and everything that they have available here. A really memorable experience every time I have been here. I really like the desserts here too.

Not a marbled steak. Over done, skinny, price to high The couldnโt say what kind is steer. Wine oysters asparagus lobster made dinner. Donโt go for steak.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointedโฆMediocre meal
Very disappointed. I donโt mind paying high prices for a good quality meal, but this place fell flat. Filet mignon is my go-to steak; a good quality steak doesnโt need much seasoning and is succulent and tasty. The filet at Old Homestead was lackluster and bland. Iโm not sure how they messed it up but they did. The asparagus was also thick, stringy and boring, along with an over cooked baked potato. The only good thing about the meal was the service. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We spent a lot of money and left feeling like we needed to find a midnight snack to make up for the mediocre meal. Donโt waste your time or money!

Things went sideways the moment we sat down. Imagine having a reservation for 2 people at 8 pm on Saturday night and being sandwiched between 2 tables of 8 people each. Imagine now that there is a 3 foot distance between your table and the ones on either side. Now imagine that you are close to the edge of the restaurant and it butts up against the casino with no wall or barrier between diners and the public. One casino goer belches as he walks past. Another draws in the entire contents of his nasal cavity and empties it onto the casino carpet 4 feet from your table. Appetizing right? Now imagine the dining room manager adding 4 seats to one of the tables next you telling you "I'd advise you to take another table because this is just going to get worse. They are expanding their party" Wow. So apparently we are going to sit on each others' laps? So we were moved...into a corner...facing the corner. Irritated, we only ordered 2 glasses of wine (5 oz. each) and a dozen oysters. We got out US$ 114 lighter, hungry and angry. I can't speak to the rest of the food and I never want to.
Be the first to ReplyYes it is costly for a reason
The only restaurant I go out of my way to enjoy in Vegas. Jose and Rocky were my excellent servers. Price has gone up considerably after Covid and they now charge for bread (seriously?). Still the best

The homestead is a competent steakhouse with reasonable steaks (we had the 10 ounce filet and New York Strip) and creamed corn as a side. The steaks were adequate and the creamed corn bland but very edible. We had the shrimp cocktail - it was seriously overpriced but tasty though not outstanding. The key lime pie was tasty, but in no way outstanding. The wine list was adeauate and no more. The prices were surprisingly high - our cost was comparable to a much better steakhouse located just down the strip. I will eat here again if convenient but I could not recommend seeking out the Homestead given the robust supply of restaurants and steakhouses on the strip.
Be the first to ReplyWaiter was great but they don't know how to cook a steak.
After travelind we decided to splurge for good filets. My wife and I both asked for medium stead andhers came out just right. My filet came out well done. When the runner delivered it we were not asked to check it out. For $79.95 I woild have expected that but thankfully the server said that is overdone and I will get it done right. THe next one came out very rare and he saw that and said I will get it redone. I let him do it but my wife was done with hers so I just ate the exterior. The waiter then said there would be no charge. Thankk goodness for him.

WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE TO EAT AND WOW THE SERVICE!!! Jose was hands down phenomenal in our fine dining experience, from suggesting meal ideas to his prompt attention to detail. Seriously hands down an asset to your establishment. My husband was so impressed that he hugged him at the end of our night. Thanks Jose and we will be back to see you again! Sincerely, Jay and Tracie Big Bear, Ca

We were wandering for somewhere to eat and decided to try this place. I wasnโt super hungry and wanted something light and simple. I had a Caesar salad (which was huge but nothing special) and French onion soup (which was really great)โฆ but both were ~$17 each plus a small appetizer of bread and butter ($10). My friend had a side of asparagus ($13 I think), a single crab cake appetizer, a Blantonโs ($24) and a coffee. It was like $130+. For that I kinda wished Iโd just ordered a steak. Moral of the story - this is very upscale high end so Iโd youโre going to eat here get something good and enjoy it!

Found myself in Vegas for a night and was hungary. Did not what the fast food at the food court, so went for a burger at the Old Homestead. The "OH Burger" was cooked to a perfect medium rare and tasted great. Great service at the bar seating. Need to go back for the full steakhouse experience.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious anniversary meal
We visited Old Homestead one of the nights we were staying at Caesars Palace. We were celebrating a big wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate that night. From the time we were seated until we left, everything was fantastic. I can't remember our waiters name but his wife was retired from the airline industry. He was so helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked as specified. We asked for the filet well done, it was perfect. I would love some more of that lobster mac and cheese as I am typing this review. It was delicious. To end our meal, our waiter brought out a most delicious piece of chocolate cake. Oh my.... it was so good. This is a more pricey steak house but it is absolutely worth it. We would definitely recommend and if we go back to Las Vegas, we would go back here to eat.

I've dined here many times and my group decided to sit at the bar. Great move. Service was exceptional and we even met a billionaire. Wow. Food is always good and cocktails were great. Enjoyed one of the best shrimp cocktails and a filet. Prices are high, its Las Vegas in 2022 not 1980, but the experience was excellent.

We had the pleasure of having NIGEL as our server. Primo top notch service. Nigel is a great guy, happy & very personable. We all had steaks & all were excellent. Thanks! LoRusso
Be the first to ReplyOver cooked meat; no more complimentary basket of bread
I've eaten at Old Homestead for years with usually positive experiences. Last trip though was different. Service is average. Instead of complimentary basket of bread with delicious pumpernickel buns with salted butter, now you have to pay for the bread and it was bad. The $85 wagu steak was overcooked. This restaurant is not worth the prices anymore.
Be the first to ReplyBest crab cake I have ever tasted
I have ate my share of crab cakes while traveling and most the time you can only find bits of crab. At this restaurant in Caesars Palace you get huge chunks of crab meat that is lump crab. The seasoning was perfect
Be the first to ReplyBest filet mignon I've ever had.
This was the place that we decided to eat our Christmas dinner. Five of us ordered the large seafood tower, 4 filet mignons, scallops, 2 baked potatoes, asparagus, and 2 creme brulee. The seafood was fresh and tasted great but the star of the show was the filet mignons. It was hands down the best steak that I've ever had, extremely tender. The baked potatoes were..well...baked potatoes, just larger than normal. Everyone left full and happy ๐
Be the first to ReplyTerrible experience
When you are spending 590$ on a meal for four you expect the best seating and service. We received neither. Be careful going here, they switched the wine menu from what we saw on their website, could not get an average wine for less than 150$. Average service and food (donโt even know how to bake a potato and we had to ask for horse radish with our steaks and mint jelly for our lamb) criminal that they get away with this , will never return
Be the first to ReplyAn average steakhouse
I was very much looking forward to a special meal. There were five in our party. It is crowded and noisy. I chose the most expensive beef on the menu. Being from the Midwest, I'm interested in the quality of the beef throughout the US. It was fine, but not worth the $150 or so for 4 ounces. The truffle mashed potatoes were as expected.
The service was average. The table, which they made into a five top from a four top, actually collapsed into the lap of one of our party. I will not return.
Unbelievable Experience
This exquisite steak house, located in Caesars Casino, delivers 5 star experience, from Michael our sever, his wine recommendations, the restaurant staff, to the amazing meal, this was truly a 5 star experience. With so many choices in vegas, it's hard to choose, you won't go wrong here.
Steak Superb
My first Wagyu. Tender, rich & flavorful. And, I love mushrooms. Husband had lovely surf & turf. Finished with decadent chocolate cake. Before & after dinner cocktails were on spot. Service was incredible. I would return.

My fiancรฉ and I had dinner here after being disappointed at another steakhouse earlier in the week. Our steaks came out hot, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The truffle fries and creamed spinach were also wonderful. Our service was excellent as we never had an empty water or wine glass. They were very attentive. Highly recommend.
