Got showered with espresso martini
My friend hosted a large private dinner which was all going fine until the waiter spilled 2 espresso martinis on my coat and jacket, which were completely destroyed. I was frustrated but didn’t want to ruin the party so just went home and brought the garments to the dry cleaners. December coincided with the Christmas period, so I only found out abut the damage this caused and the price for the clean in January when I reached out to the restaurant who was completely ignorant of my problem and denied any responsibility, confirming that none of the waiters who worked on the evening remember the accident and that CCTV footage has been already deleted. Awful experience, now I have to pay more than the price of the whole dining experience to get my coat and jacket fixed and I didn’t even get a proper apology or compensation from the restaurant.
Very good time to spend around good Italian products.
The place is quiet and well located in the Belgravia district with a high terrace with plants which gives you a summer feel even in October. We were well received and advised on wine. You will not be disappointed by a delicious “burrata” and fish en papillote. Too bad we didn't find a "tiramisu" on the dessert menu!! Very good address (.-)
It's not okay to steal from your customers.
Stealing is never okay. The place is nice, the food is good and the waiters are kind, especially the Italian waiter. Also the wine list is interesting. Why 1 star? They added 45£ to our bill (2 people) for "13,5% service". The prices on the menu (42£ for a seabass fillet) do not say that there is another charge on top!!! In many countries the practice of adding extra charge without declaring it is ILLEGAL.
Amazing food and service.
Great service, amazing environment and nice location. Lady called Angi was our server, she was very nice, friendly and very professional. Provided great service and the resturant was very clean. All staff was polite and friendly, very welcoming. Food was delicious and the Maki rolls were incredible. I highly recommend. I came with a booking for 6 on my birthday and Angi made it special and memorable.

Disappointing
Disappointing on all levels. Poor food and small portions, very poor service very expensive wines. Only good thing was sitting outside on the terrace which was lovely.

We came here a few years ago and the menu was much more exciting and inspiring. The service was good but otherwise the experience was run of the mill with Belgravia prices.
Terrible service for the price
We arrived at the restaurant exactly on time and whilst walking to our table we were told that it had been taken by another party. We were instructed to wait at the bar whilst another table was found, the bar staff were all distracted or facing the opposite way so were not asked if we wanted a drink for the 5 minutes we were there. Once we eventually got our table it was positioned next to a large private standing party at one side of the terrace, they were so loud and we were so close to them that we had to shout at each other the entire meal to hear ourselves. The most disappointing bit was the service we received, the staff were very disinterested and not attentive to our group - not asking us for our orders for a long time and didn't return to our table for at least 20 minutes at a time whilst we were constantly trying to get their attention to make orders (what was hoped to be a quick dinner took 2.5 hours for two courses). The staff's attention was clearly focussed on the bigger party and completely neglected our group. The food was also very disappointing - a number of the items we initially tried to order (both food and drink) we were later told were not available and had to order again (surprising for a 7pm booking). Two of us ordered the lobster linguini which when it arrived wasn't very warm and the cream sauce had a skin over the top as if it had been sat on a waiting pass for some time. The points above amongst other things made us leave feeling really disappointed with the overall service and experience after spending over £300 on a dinner.
Bad Experience
Was really looking forward to brunch here. The setting was nice but the view was nothing (tops of buildings), the service was terrible and the food was bland. Waited over 15 minutes just to have someone take our drink order. After we received our food nobody stopped back to check on us. Had to flag someone down just to get salt & pepper brought to the table. For the prices they charge, you would expect to have salt & pepper on the table. There are so many other fabulous places to have brunch in London - with views and great food. Would definitely skip The Roof Garden at Pantechnicon.
Stylish, discreet roof terrace in busy Belgravia
Chose this spot hoping for a discreet roof terrace in a busy area and it didn’t disappoint. Visited for the first time for a celebratory dinner. Tom and his team managed to accommodate our outside terrace request and service was efficient but attentive. Lovely touch to offer a couple of glasses of bubbles as we were celebrating. Food was delicious and overall reasonable. We’ll be back.

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
