Amazing brunch!
My family and I had an amazing brunch outside at Pardon my French. Food was delicious - eggs Benedict as well as croquet monsieur with bottomless mimosas! Our server, Brian, was attentive and courteous! Definitely a hidden gem in NYC!!

Fantastic brunch with my family today! Delicious food and outstanding service. Big shout out to our sever Sabrina! Outstanding job guys; we are coming back again!
Be the first to ReplyFrench tapas and fine mixology drinks
A small place in the LES where there are lots of creative dining / drink options. Specialty drinks are a highlight. Dining options are creative and French - inspired: seared scallops and the escargot along with charcuterie among our favorites
Be the first to ReplyGreat cocktail. Best duck !
Went for dinner last Saturday. Cocktails are quite interesting and delicious. We tried the squid/calamari salad as well as the duck magret and tarte tatin. The food was really excellent. The magret was perfectly cooked. Rutabagas were so tender. Wine was okay for a French restaurant, I was expecting a more interesting wine list/selection.
Overall it was a great experience!
Great food and ambience
Went here for brunch and had four of us at the bar for price-fixed menu (with mimosas). Server was very attentive and the food was fabulous. Great hidden NYC gem.

This si a narrow cocktail bar connected to a French restaurant (the menu looked great). We only tried the cocktail bar, repeatedly. There is a kind of high table with stools looking out onto the street, a constantly changing, interesting vista! You can also sit at the bar or at the couple of tables at the back if you're feeling like being incognito or intimate. The staff are friendly and chatty, and let us try one liquour we hadn't heard of. Lovely cocktails

Decided to stop by Pardon My French last Sunday around 4pm, at first we were just going to have a drink by the bar and go elsewhere for dinner but then decided to stay. The bar here is as good as any for date night or a solo dinner, while the rear garden is one of the city’s most under-the-radar outdoor dining spaces
modern riffs on French bistro classics. Very cute patio!!
We were seated by the end of the bar and all waiters decided to stand around there to argue about who is staying after brunch. There was 3 or four servers standing there with a stack of cash ready to start counting and telling each other “Im not closing brunch” or “who will be on the floor?”. After what felt like a very long time someone was forced to “close brunch”. Seems like peace was restored so we asked if we could move to a table to have food (and also move away from where seems to be the waiters HQ). We were informed there was no food till 6pm when the kitchen reopens for dinner.
Alright, another drink it is then! Finally 6pm comes around and we can order dinner…the anticipation was making me even hungrier. I guess not hungry enough to look passed the bland food. I had the confit duck and it was OK but nothing even near OMG THIS IS VERY DELICIOUS kinda duck. My friend had the burger and said was ok but come guys it’s a BURGER!! If you mess up a burger than we are in trouble right?!
Many bars and restaurants on the East Village have familiar elements: model-like bartenders in possibly ripped jeans, waiters with stylish looks (some trying way to hard!), a drink list that features some kind of “exotic homemade” cocktail, I get it, you’re cool!
PMF is exactly that, “cool”…maybe too cool to even pay attention to its customers or God forbid try harder with their food.
Bottomless brunch? Um HELL YESS
I was so glad this place did not disappoint after recommending it for a close friends birthday brunch. It is a great deal for brunch since it is one price for both an entree and bottomless mimosas. AND BOY did the staff do great job keeping the pitchers of mimosas coming for the full 2 hours, we were never left without a drink. The food was also fantastic, between the group we probably all ordered something different and were all happy with our meals :)

Group of six - graduation dinner - sat in back patio which was charming but interior also very cool - dark but hip lighting with great French club music at perfect low volume - we tried a lot of things and every item we ordered was excellent - house cocktails delicious - wait staff was good - owner/manager Anton was very impressive and (rare for French?) quickly realized my wife was the sommelier/food industry vet and dealt directly and respectfully with her - we had a great dinner - have eaten all over the world and would happily go back to this restaurant!
