Pastis Miami Reviews from The Last Year
Absolutely love this place, one of my favorite restaurants
Absolutely love this place, one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. Great bar, excellent French bistro food, and top notch service. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are great, always full of people so very nice ambiance. Highly recommend it.

My family (Mom, Dad, Brother and Myself) went to Pastis for Mother's Day. The restaurant was quite busy but since we had a reservation we were seated immediately. Our server was Micheal and he was FANTASTIC. He was extremely attentive and went the extra mile to make my mother feel special on Mother's Day. As well, he must've had at least 6 other tables but he didn't miss a beat. He was there for water and drink refills just as we needed them and was always checking to see if we needed anything else. The food was great, eggs cooked perfectly. Now I will say the prices are a bit high but that's to be expected for Wynwood. All in all it was a great experience and I would go again!
What a phenomenal restaurant.
There is a massive outside patio area. This French restaurant feels like you could be transported to Paris. The staff is very attentive. The food is excellent. I got a steak frites sauce au poirve (pepper sauce) with a New York strip instead of the filet mignon. If you are getting dessert the chocolate mousse is the best I've ever had. Will have to be back!

This spot has been on my list to try for a while, and it didn't disappoint. Nestled in Wynwood, this restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating options, each offering a fantastic ambiance for dinner. The outdoor setting, in particular, exudes a vibrant and attractive vibe, making for a memorable dining experience. The service was excellent, with our food arriving promptly. Our favorites included the branzino, steak tartare, and the pasta dishes.... let's not forget about the profiteroles--I couldn't get enough of them. Easily one of the best-tasting desserts I've had in a while.

Really fabulous! A WONDERFUL AMBIANCE BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE IN THE BEAUTIFUL TERRACE. Staff so impressive, efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and charming. Karma was serving us today and she is exceptional. The food is always superb. We have visited here 5 times in the past 6 weeks! ONe really does feel one is at a Bistro in France! We are delighted Pastis came to Miami and look forward to many more meals there!

All I have to say is it brought back childhood memories of going to Pastis in Manhattan! Home away from home!
Great place for girl dinner.
Burrata, fries and a salad with le jardín cocktail . Really gorgeous inside and waiters were great. I'm vegetarian and felt like I had enough options although not many vegan options.

This French restaurant is located in Wynwood, it has a nice patio with a bar and outdoor seating. Our reservation was for a small party and we were there on time but we had to wait to be seated. The hostess was busy seating other tables so we waited about 10-15 mins to seat inside. The food was great, we ordered the steak tartar to share and then the crepe, oysters and eggs Benedict. Everyone was pleased with their food and the service was pretty quick. Would love to go again and seat outside.
An amazing grapefruit creme brule, great place for dinner.
Very nice, pleasant service.

Just phenomenal.
I've never been to Pastis NY, but I'm a big Balthazar fan and this is the same energy - feels like you've just stepped into a gorgeous but approachable brasserie on a random street in Paris. The garden terrace and entire venue are just beautiful and authentic. Went with no reservation on a packed Saturday night and they were able to seat us in about 40 minutes. Server was kind and everything we ordered came out quickly. We to Brasserie Paris in Paris last year (not the same family of restaurants) and it was very reminiscent of the vibe. Loved being back in Paris for a night in the middle of Miami!
Great find in Wynnwood.
Plenty of outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating as well. Quick and friendly service. And the food was delicious. Feels very much like a New York Parisian, Style Spot! Came here for lunch during the week, nice vibe busy, but easy to get a table. Had the steak Frites, and it was divine 10/10 will definitely order again. Hubby got the chicken and said it was delicious. Finished with an espresso, which was perfect
Pastis is definitely a spot worth trying if you want some
Pastis is definitely a spot worth trying if you want some delicious, classic French cuisine. Between the beautiful, dimly lit indoor/ outdoor space and delicious food, I definitely recommend giving it a try. We ordered the Eiffel Sour and the Belle de Nuit to drink. The Eiffel Sour had an earthy but fruity taste and was very unique. The Belle de Nuit was good as well, but had a pretty straightforward fruity taste. To eat, we ordered the crispy artichoke, onion soup, and moules frites to share. The onion soup was some of the best I've ever had. It was rich in flavor, cheesy and decadent- everything you could want. The artichokes were yummy with a fresh lemony flavor. The moules frites were truly incredible- light and lemony but rich and buttery at the same time. The portions were very generous and could definitely be shared amongst a few people. The service was also good and our server was friendly and attentive. All in all, I definitely recommend Pastis Miami. Whether it's for a group dinner or intimate date night, they are definitely sure to please!

Incredible dinner spot the food was AMAZING the bread and lemon pasta were 2 favorites on the menu!

Pastis is located in Miami wynwood district who is known to be the Art neighborhood of the city. Pastis has a very unique European atmosphere , cozy and very warm. We were seated right away and the hostess was very nice. We went for brunch but we decided to also try some main from the regular menu. Our server took a little bit to bond with us but she was sweet and knowledgeable. I would have expected a little more from the food ... I am an egg Benedict lover and unfortunately the English muffin was overcooked and the presentation was not the best however it's a good option and I am sure the Norwegian version is very good. The avocado toast was disappointing ... bread was burned and there was so little avocado spread that we really did not enjoyed it. Cappuccino was absolutely delicious made to perfection. We ordered 'la grand aioli' which is a mix of shrimp salmon crudités served over ice and with dressings and it was very good and we enjoyed glass of rose brut. The profiteroles are delicious as well, very good portion for $16 with very good ice cream and great quality chocolate fudge. I will definitely go back to try more things.
This was my first time trying Pastis.
The interior of the restaurant was really lovely and intimate. The outside was cute and quaint. The service was decent nothing extraordinary but not the worst either. The food was delicious however a bit overpriced. I would HIGHLY recommend the crispy artichokes as they were packed with flavor. The burrata was delicious and tasted fresh. The ribeye was good and the fries were crispy. The crème brûlée was a great way to end this delicious meal. I must say that the chocolate milkshake was probably the best milkshake i've ever had so I definitely recommend getting a milkshake! They have a valet but I found it pretty easy to get street parking during the week, parking on the weekend may be a bit more difficult. Overall a place worth trying out at least once.
Great menu, deep wine list, and exceptional bar.
Both dinner and brunch? C'est magnifique! We tried the French onion soup, and the trout, on our first visit, along with some wonderful oysters. In our second visit we had the butter shrimp salad and the lamb shank. All was perfectly prepared. The warm shrimp, with a hint of saffron was spectacular. The bar offers exceptional craft cocktails paired well with the food offerings. Valet parking is the same price as the overpriced Winwood garages, so VALET! Definitely a discovery worth finding yourself. Reservations are highly recommended. Miami has already discovered this hidden gem!
I had quite high expectation being french and hoping to
I had quite high expectation being french and hoping to finally have a great french restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not happen. I went twice before I write this review.. thinking the first time may be one off. I went twice for lunch. I ordered a truite amandine.. bathing in a burnt butter bath , topped with burnt almonds. Also too salty very disappointing The second time went for a bouillabaisse.. small and so salty It was difficult to finish. Otherwise the service is spotless and the ambiance is nice. I won't be back but I would bet the ambiance is much better for dinner. Finally , you have much better options in Miami for this price.

Finally experienced Pastis ! And if was a dream come true, after hearing so much about it, I couldn't wait to see if it lived up to the hype, and I can confirm without a doubt that it absolutely did. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was charming and inviting. Not a single empty table , and it was 9:00 pm on a Friday night ! There was not one dish we got that we did not like , everything was bursting with flavors. However, the only hiccup was the steak, which arrived slightly undercooked for our liking. But, the moment we mentioned it to our waiter, they handled it with impeccable grace and brought out a perfectly cooked replacement in no time. That's what I call exceptional customer service, and it truly elevated our dining experience at Pastis. The drinks we're on the small side but delicious none the less. I can't wait to come back
Wow
Outstanding burger. It was delicious onions pickle cheese sauce perfection. I don’t recommend the mushrooms too oily. Service was great thanks to Ricardo!
Just like NY's brother
With the same feel as the excellent Pastis de NY, relaxed, good music and great food, the same decor style, it is one of the best options in Miami. The service leaves a little to be desired, our waiter was a little impatient and the valet closes with the customer still in the restaurant!? (23:00) The food was very good, fois gra, steak tartare, fried artichokes, scallops, the dish of the day was duck in tin sauce and the meat is good too. This is a characteristic of the menu, there are very diverse options. Normal prices for the standard. Great variety of drinks. Quite tasty. Place deserves any Miami itinerary
Patis Miami - GREAT French bistro food in Wynwood
Patis Miami in Wynwood is Stephen Starr Group French bistro concept (in NYC, Washington D.C. et cetera) is a popular, very good, fun to dine at (nice decor, ambiance, & vibe) restaurant. There indoor, and outdoor patio seating. We’ve been here before (& will certainly return!), and on this visit enjoyed: Very good cocktails (house Margarita, and house Manhattan - both very good) Artichoke entree - split as an appetizer - yum! Warm Shrimp salad - delicious Chicken paillard topped with chopped olives and a small salad - very tasty! Pomme frittes side dish - tasty fries! Sticky toffee cake & ice cream dessert - yum Start-to-finish, a delightful French bistro dinner! Patis Miami in Wynwood - try it you’ll like it!
Miami location isn’t it
Horrible experience. We had an 8:45 outside. Checked into the hostess stand and we were told to “check in with them” after 20 minutes because outside was really busy. Even though our reservation was for that time outside we felt like a walk in. Sat down, someone ran by and said which water can I get you because I’m passing by …SPILLED my drink in the process, and left me with a wet menu placemat. Had no idea it was the server. Took 25 minutes to be able to ask him for napkins so I can clean the mess. The food we ordered was so salty almost to the point where you could t eat it. Escargot however was phenominal but it came out within 1-2 minutes after we ordered it? Took forever to order another drink or be acknowledged that we need another drink and then they never came…throughout the entire experience…even after part of my drink was spilled in the beginning . We finished our entire meal and then we got a “don’t worry I took those off the check sorry everyone else is waiting too”. Then an attitude when we asked for change. Just the whole experience was bad. The ambience was a 10. Everything else not so much. Maybe we came on a bad night? NYC location is beyond better!
Surprises at the Bar
I’ve always loved this restaurant in New York, and I have to say that the Miami one has copied the location and the quality of the food. However, recently, I had a little bit of a surprise at the bar. I asked for two drinks “neat”. To my surprise, I was charged a surcharge because I had asked for the drink meat. I was told by the management that this is “a thing”. Insinuating that charging more for serving a drink without ice is more expensive. My only issue with this is not the price, it is the fact that it’s not published anywhere on the menu.”a thing” insinuated, that the customers not sophisticated enough to understand that there is a surcharge for a drink without ice. A very confusing message to someone who has traveled the world, and has always asked for drinks meat. Never, ever ever, was a charge more. Let me highlight that I left the bartender a 30% tip. it was not about the money it’s about being surprised with additional charges. So Miami. My advice to people going to this restaurant is enjoy the food, if you use the bar, make sure you itemize your bill.
Great French Bistro for Miami
Great ambience for a Monday Night, we sat in the patio very nicely set up. The food was great. and so was our server.. Highly recommended.
Pastis Miami - new and recommended kn the Wynwood District
Restaurant like in France. Well made Food and good service. Large location close to Wynwood Walls. A little noisy if full booked.
TOO MUCH EXPENSIVE , TOO MUCH BUTTER, TOO MUCH NOISY
So noisy, you could not even listen what is your part saying. I wanted to get out immediately after we got in. The take us to a table just in front to the kitchen, the next one was not nic … the third one was acceptable. Unbelievable after 2 week of waiting to get a table (why are people so stupid to wait 2 weeks to get there?). We ordered food, and… BUTTER, BUTTER in the bread, in the mussels… we didn’t have coffee and dessert, i was scared to find tons of butter there too… The NY strio 49 USD + taxes and tip (are we kidding? So expensive) was butter taste and a bit hard to eat.French fries were nice… I’ll better have taken my GF to have dinner to 5guys or Mcdonald to have nice french fries… Onion soup 19 usd should have been amazong ahahhaha We’ll not get there anymore The have given us a card at the end, there was written these words: the secret ingredient to a special holiday???? To much BUTTER and to much NOISE, this is my answer
Awesome experience!
When I travel, I like to research restaurants that really offer a different gastronomic experience. I found Pastis, and I confess that I loved every detail. From the location, to the decor, and the food was spectacular!
Good option in Wynwood
Nice place with a more elegant touch than what you get in the area. Excellent food and very good service. If the weather permits, the terrace is the most recommended.
My new MIA favorite
food is wonderful, service is authentic.
The only thing (they can't change!) is the location is a bit 'special'
