Pizzana Silver Lake Los Angeles Reviews from The Last Year
Stunning! Always wonderful.
Service is attentive, food is absolutely scrumptious. We have brought friends for dinner there and it never disappoints. The pizzas are cooked to perfection. Pastas and apps are cleverly divine. Salads are fresh and crisp . The restaurant is small and cozy so I would recommend a reservation. But we have become forever fans and will continue to spread the word to our foodie friends! Well done!

Just stopped in for the padrino sandwich and it was as delicious as advertised, but the best part of the dining experience was Danielle. She is the manager, and everyone in customer service should take a cue from her service....the food was excellent and Danielle made the dining experience even better!!
LOVE Pizzana and would definitely recommend! As a New
LOVE Pizzana and would definitely recommend! As a New Yorker in LA, I'm always looking for good pizza & pasta spots and was so happy to find Pizzana. We ordered online so I can't speak to the dine-in experience but the food was fantastic. Margarita Pizza, well cooked, perfectly doughy, and a crisp bottom. Perfect to share between two people. Creste alla Vodka Pasta, amazing sauce, al dente pasta, would definitely order this again! Broccolini, cooked perfectly! Simple as. Overall I recommend Pizzana and will definitely order again!
This was a lovely, pizza & salad sort of meal.
The only reasons why I can't give it a full rating: - the music was WAY too loud. For such an intimate setting, I feel the loud music is unnecessary - no valet parking. Street parking is hard to find in Silverlake - only one bathroom makes it challenging! The inside of the restaurant is small and intimate. A great date spot or place to hang out with some friends. Service was attentive and food came out relatively quick. This is what I ordered: - Caesar Salad with added chicken - I'm not usually a fan but I was drawn to this one because they make the croutons out of pizza dough. The pieces are a bit larger than usual, but I quite liked it. Chicken was well-seasoned with a hint of rosemary. A great appetizer! - Pepperoni pizza - if you're a fan of classic pepperoni pizza, you'll likely like this one too. Nice ratio of pepperoni to cheese/sauce, and the fresh dough makes this pizza a solid winner. If you don't like too many fancy toppings on your pizza and you want to stick to the classics, order this one. - Vodka pizza - I made the mistake of ordering a fancy pizza and didn't quite like this one. The toppings sounded appealing, and I've never had vodka pizza before, but it just didn't do it for me. Perhaps one that likes vodka sauce would like this more. - Panna cotta with pretzel bits - YES this was good! It was very rich, so enjoy it slowly with a single espresso. A great way to end a nice meal. - Chocolate olive cake - so so, just tasted like regular chocolate cake to me. Nothing spectacular. Will be back!
Got to try this place with a good friend of mine.
We decided to just try two different pizzas and the two that we ordered were recommended by our waiter. The first one we ordered was the Cacio E Pepe. This pizza is really good, although I think it had too much black pepper on it. It took away from the flavor of the pizza, unfortunately. The second pizza we ordered was the Corbarina. This pizza has Marzano Dopp, squash, blossom, burrata, cherry tomato, gremolata. This pizza was very good! I would come back just for this. The price of their pizzas are pretty expensive but the service was great which made up for it.
Can I give them 10 stars? I am in love! The best gluten
Can I give them 10 stars? I am in love! The best gluten free pizza I've ever had. I love that they have organic whole grain milled grains, organic ingredients from Naples and the taste was phenomenal. We ordered the gluten free crust, pepperoni with mushrooms. It was so light and delicious. Usually when I eat gluten free pizza, I have a hard time digesting or it's too heavy. This was absolute heaven, light, fluffy crust, perfect amount of tomato sauce, perfect amount of pepperoni and mushrooms. Thank you! We will be back soon!
Solid pizza with great service and a fun, casual atmosphere.
Really enjoyed the pizza and look forward to coming back sometime soon.

In the culinary cuisine world there is lot of paste, but once in a while you find a diamond. The chef and pizza at Pizzana are gems. I had the Cacio e Pepe and Vodka. They were sublime.
Pizzana is literally one of my favorite pizza places in LA.
I got the carnivoro and it brings 6 slices. The servers and the service was really great & the place was nicely kept. The only thing that can be tricky is the parking situation, other than that, an easy 5 star. For a pizza and a drink I paid $37.
Pizza was great.
I had the margarita which I really enjoyed. The service was also excellent, my Diet Coke never went empty! Even though they were super busy they didn't rush us out. Parking is definitely a challenge.
Cacio E Pepe Pizza
Cacio e pepe pizza is interesting. I loved the crust and the pepper taste. However, the pizza was severely lacking texture. Despite its look with the charred crust it had zero crunch to it. Definitely flavorful but I need the bottom to a bit crunchy. Good price. Medium pizza was $16. Also the Cacio e pepe needs one additional topping like mushrooms, red onion or some shredded beef to make this pizza complete.
All time favorite pizza
The pizzas are PACKED with so much flavor. These are the best pizzas one can have. I truly have never loved a pizza more then the pizza they serve here. You will never be dissatisfied when you come to pizzana. TRULY THE BEST PIZZA EVER.

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
