Enjoyable evening
We went to celebrate our friends anniversary. We had excellent service from Carlos. We all had a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional. The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection. We all decided we would have the Scotch Egg again.

We had a great special occasion dinner here. The food is incredibly delicious and portioned just right. Loved the crab cake and beef Wellington. They offered a complimentary toffee cake for our anniversary. It is very pricey and we made reservations over a month in advance, so I’d save this place only for rare occasions.

Spent a Birthday dinner at GRK with my spouse. Ordered Caesar salad. The romaine was wilted and it had roughly a quarter cup of blob of dressing un-mixed in the bottom of the dish-- it appeared to me the salad had been pre-tossed some time earlier and was waiting to be sold. The next dish was tagliatelle w/ butternut squash-- we added lobster tail. When the dish arrived I could see that the noodles were laminated together. Upon my first bite there were gummy noodles and crunchy noodles-- the pasta was well under al dente. The lobster tail was tough. My spouse then looked at me and asked " is this pasta undercooked". At this point we sent the dishes back-- this would be three dishes we returned to the kitchen. After another wait the FOH manager delivered the re-fired dishes. The manager was a bit confrontational asking whether I was sure it was the pasta or the butternut squash. The comport shown conveyed annoyance. I said the chef should try the first pasta dish we were served. The manager then offered a dissertation on COVID and how that was not possible. To which I replied " As sure as you are about COVID, I am equally sure the pasta was undercooked, the lobster was over cooked and the salad was haphazard." To me it seems a reasonable trouble shoot to pull a noodle from the dish and try to test the texture with a kitchen implement w/o consuming. It is not an enjoyable experience to send three dishes back. It involves waiting, involving the waiter which has no control over the dish and awkward conversations with managers. I left feedback through an email I received from GRK the day after the meal. I left all the information I have in this review and requested a partial refund or credit for a future meal. The response was " Hope you will dine with us in the future"-- seems the indifference is a feature of this establishment rather than a bug. Caveat emptor!

First time there. My sea bass was very thin and served with the skin on. My asparagus was ultra thick and under roasted. My coffee tasted as if it had been in the pot for 4 hours. My bill came and for $240.00 (tip included) I was more than disappointed. Won’t be going back. Way too expensive for what you get. I personally cook and eat better at home!

OMG. This was an awesome experience! I traveled from San Antonio, Tx for my son's birthday and we had reservations for his birthday. The restaurant is very elegant and has a upscale Industrial style. There was 7 of us in the party. We ordered an order of Parker rolls for the table. I ordered the Harvest Salad and added grilled shrimp. The salad is HUGE and very delicious. My son, DIL and BF ordered the Beef Wellington - they said that it was cooked to perfection. My grand daughter ordered the fish and chips. My DIL's friends ordered the RK burger and his wife the steak. All of the food was fantastic. The entire experience was amazing. The server was attentive and very friendly. They even brought my son a complimentary Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert for his birthday. I truly can't say enough great things about this night and the experience.

We scheduled a dinner reservation for New Year’s Eve. We wanted to try several things that we have seen from Hells Kitchen episodes. We both had deserts. My wife the Crab cake that she said was the best she had ever had. I had the shrimp scampi that had very good flavor. Our entrees consisted of beef Wellington with a turnip purée and scallops/pork belly. Sides of truffle fries (outstanding) and the grilled Brussels sprouts. We couldn’t pick anything that wasn’t very tasty!

Second visit and will never be back. They were out of numerous menu items. They didn’t tell us until we had already ordered drinks. Once we found out we couldn’t even order the dishes we wanted, we told the server that we were going to walk next door to Uncle Julio’s. I told her to tab us out for the soft drinks and water we’d ordered. She said that she would need to get a manager. After 20 minutes wait, I left a $20 and we walked out. This place is all hype.

Where do I begin...Well, I called before arriving and asked about walk-in service at the bar, and the lady informed me that the bar was fully committed along with reservations for the evening. I decided to go anyway. Once I arrived, the bar was empty. There was no one at the bar and no wait for reservations. Interesting. I ordered scallops and potatoes as a side to my meal. The potatoes were COLD. The scallops were tiny, I mean very tiny and overcooked. My friend ordered the sticky wings, and they were COLD. The manager brought out more wings, and they were RAW. The manager said it was bone marrow, and a blood vessel popped while cooking, but they were done. The manager said she would not eat them. It was a very disappointing experience. The One Last Kiss drink was delicious.

With great anticipation we made a reservation and went to the new Ramsay's Kitchen for dinner. We ordered drinks, salads and entree's. The server was very precise in accepting the order she said to insure that the dinner elements were delivered properly. The drinks were delivered after about 10 minutes. The entree's arrived at almost the same time as the drinks. We informed the new server that salads had not been received yet, and they said sorry, put the entrees in front of us and walked away. About ten minutes later another sever began wandering around tables in our area searching for the people missing salads. Finally she figured out that it was our table an plopped them down and promptly walked away. Several minutes later our original server stopped by to check on us, and responded to the late salads by explaining that "sometimes that happens". At the end the server offered a half-hearted apology for the issues with the dinner. The lack of care demonstrated by the three servers earlier cannot be erased by a weak apology when the bill is delivered--the issue should have been corrected when it occurred. The salads and entrees were good (scallops and beef Wellington), but the dinner sequence was unsatisfactory. The server staff did not seem to care that the dinner was not served correctly and did nothing to rectify the situation. In retrospect, we should have sent the entrees back to be refired after the salads were complete. I think the staff needs to be required to watch Hell's Kitchen to understand the importance of the sequence of service, because they don't get it at Ramsay's Kitchen. I guess reality TV shows and reality do not match at all. There are many fine dining restaurants in the metropolitan area that provide top tier food and service. It takes both good food and good service to justify the meal cost and earn a return visit. The Ramsay organization sent a survey a few days later. Feedback similar to the above went unanswered.
