Authentic NY Pizza!
Handling some Immigration business at the USCIS District Office, we decided to do a night on the town! Loved Ray's Crispy pizza & Manhattan in general was exciting! Proud to be an American! God Bless the USA.

Our family and friends really enjoy our medium pizzas... (to us they seemed very large) It was well worth the short wait. The staff were sharp but really funny and helpful.

I have been a fan of Rays and ate their pizza exclusive of all others for many years. I think itโs gone downhill. Hereโs the rub. There are now better. Primary issue: my slice crust was thicker than the competition and not only that it held up in my hand instead of having to be folded to eat. The old school Rays was much softer and much more chewy. Too firm now. Finally the sauce way too sweet. Almost tasted sugar added. Sorry Ray, Joe has you beat. You had a great run.

Friendly staff and great food. Real old fashioned Italian style eatery, do great calzone too. I would definitely stop by again!
Be the first to ReplyNo pepperoni slices??
We came from all over the country..we asked for Pepperoni pizza slices and they said โnoโ...I guess it is not popular anymore...we were so bummed.. they did not offer to make a whole Pie...so we just took what they had and it was not as good as I thought it was going to be. So sad

We visited Ray's Pizza on a Tuesday evening for food, I had a Chicken Parmasiana with a drink and my wife had a Philly Cheese Steak with chips and a drink all the food was extremely tasty with great portion sizes and at only $30 including taxes great value.

We stumbled on Rayโs walking around and decided to go in for a bagel and coffee. We were impressed with the bagels and the pizza and most of the rest of the food looked good. We kept it in mind and went back for a mid afternoon piece of pizza. It was excellent. I canโt vouch for anything else but it all looked very good. Itโs a very busy place and the service is fast.

I heard this place was iconic so we tried their pizza. They serve on a per slice basis. I must say that one slice is extremely large, it is already filling. Taste was really yummy. This makes for a very satisfying meal in the Times Square area.
Be the first to ReplyRays is the place for pizza & subs!
Wow, this is good pizza & meatball subs. It was my 3rd visit to NYC so i've tried alot of pizza there, usually go to Joe's but then discovered Rays. It was absolutely delicious and my daughter said her meatball sub was delicious too. It will definitely be my go to pizza place on my future visits

My husband wanted to get pizza whilst in New York, we were walking past and decided to get a pizza here.
Pizza was very tasty, my husband made the mistake of ordering a whole pizza for just two of us... I say mistake... He was very happy with his decision until he saw the size of the pizza when it arrived. HUGE!
Needless to say we couldn't finish it all, although we gave it a good go, and gave the rest to a group of teenagers who were there having some dinner (think they may have been locals) they seemed really grateful which was nice.
Light crust
Walked in here while wandering the east village expecting a standard nyc slice. I was surprised with a fantastic slice of pep and sausage with a very light crust with just enough crunch on the outside
Be the first to ReplyHorrible!
While visiting New York, me & my husband was looking for a good pizza spot in. I read the reviews & thought to give it a try. The pizza is horrible. We are from Chicago and was expecting something on the same level if not better. It is flat & tasteless. Frozen pizza tastes better than this. Never again!

New York style pizza. Great quality. Big Slices and cheap in NY standards. Craved going here a few times.
