Red Ash Austin Reviews
Great service.
Great vibes. Great food. It's expensive and needs a reservation, but it was pretty easy to book. For my bday weekend, my sister picked one fancy restaurant Friday night, and I picked one Saturday night. My pick was Red Ash, and my pick won by a

Amazing food! Service is not the same standard we expected from their sister restaurant, J Carvers, but still better than most. A great date night experience.
So loud not enjoyable.
Food was good but hard to talk to then people at your table because of the noise.

The food was delicious.
Both the crab pasta and the seafood pasta had a generous amount of linguine and seafood. One of my clams was closed (you can't eat a clam if it doesn't open up as it means it was dead before it was caught and can make you sick.) I was a lit

I had the pleasure of eating here this last Saturday and this is the 3rd time I had dinner at Red Ash. I will say the grilled sourdough and burrata appetizer is really second to none. If you like a garlicky, perfectly toasted piece of bread with your
Hype
Dang it. Red Ash crushed it. I mean, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. We have been passionate supporters of Vespaio for over two decades and it has always been out special date night/celebration spot. Now the conundrum is when we are downtown
Must try Italian spot!
This place was amazing. We didnโt have reservations but they were able to squeeze us in. Valet $15, but street parking was available. We chose the garlic bread flown in from NY for appetizers. We also did the bolognese, spaghetti, aged steak from C
Epic Dinner
We have been trying to get into Red Ash for almost 2 years now. I can say it was worth the wait! We had a wide variety of dishes that we shared. The standouts were the Halibut, Steak, and Blue Crab pasta. All were amazing. The carpaccio and burr
Exceptional experience
Excellent cocktails. Superb wine list . Exceptional quality of ingredients in well prepared food of international Michelin star standard . The service from arriving to departing was top notch!
Best Steak in Austin... Maybe Anywhere!
Wow! I heard this was good, but this was REALLY GOOD! The wood-fired steak melted in your mouth. The handmade pasta was fresh, slight chew, and well-done. This is a great restaurant-- if you can get in. We made reservations 3 months in advance.
Excellent.
I enjoyed the clams and bone marrow. Will definitely go back to try more of their food. I did feel cramped and could hear every conversation to the left and right of me because we were jammed together so that really needs to be remedied.

The food really yummy 6 start if I could.
Service clean and great. Love the potatoes from here. Just don't love how some of the cooks look dirty, and how the waitresses drink during the job or while closing with the male employees. Armando, a former employee would be involved with all the gi

Another visit to Red Ash and another fantastic experience.
Food was outstanding and the service exceptional. Gold standard of a dining experience without question.
One of the best restaurants I've had ever.
I tried dishes that I would normally never even think about (they do come with a price tag) but so worth it. Book wayyyy in advance because this place is insanely good and everyone knows it.
Snagged a last minute reservation on OpenTable at the bar.
Our server/bartender was very nice, helpful when it came to helping my vegan boyfriend find options. He wasn't originally coming with me but my sister couldn't make it. We knew the menu did not denote vegan options so we hoped they would accommodat

Wonder
Best Italian Steakhouse ever. Donโt miss the bone morrow. Chef is wonderful, overseas all food as it prepared and before it is served. Food is fantastic and service is great. A bit loud, but itโs everyone talking about their food. Temporary
I've been there twice (before it closed due to fire).
The food is excellent, and in another environment I would frequent it, especially if it were more accessible-- without reserving a table months in advance. Some of the tables are crammed together making it seem a bit claustrophobic and overcrowded.
The food here was phenomenal.
Came with a large group of coworkers and we all enjoyed our meals and shared appetizers. The wine selection and cocktails were also top notch. The Tagliolini with blue crab was out of this world. It is quite loud and crowded in the dining area, but t

Excellent food and service.
Always enjoy it. Always crowded so make a reservation. Beautiful environment.
Always amazing.
MUST - the tomato's and burrata. This is my favorite thing on the menu hands down. Absolutely incredible. Meatballs as well! So juicy and truthfully the best I've ever had. Everything at red ash is good. You will not go wrong with anything in there
Great food, always crowded.
Noisy, but fun! It's well-worth the price and the wait! I've been here many times and always had a great dinner!
Best meal in Austin? Absolutely.
Visited on a Thursday night without a reservation, but lucked into a table - highly recommend booking ahead! Started with the hot and crispy country Italian bread, which was good but skippable if you're watching carbs. Red snapper crudo: Incredible!
An amazing experience
We went to Red Ash for dinner It was recommended by a manager at our hotel. From the minute we entered the building we were greeted with a warm smile. Soon thereafter we were guided to our table. Our server Brandy was warm engaging and informative .

So yummy!
Fantastic spot! Every appetizer and meal was spot on. Kinda pricey but worth it. Wish they had a kids menu.
Fantastic Experience!
We were absolutely blown away at how incredible the food was at Red Ash. We were in Austin for a family vacation. Based on the reviews I knew it was going to be good, I didn't have any idea it would be that great. If you're considering this restau

Service fee gouge alert.

Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Red Ash Austin at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Red Ash Austin page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Red Ash Austin to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Red Ash Austin!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
