Riccio's Steak & Seafood Palm Springs Reviews from The Last Year
What a great restaurant!! Priced well, the food is amazing.
If you're in Palm Springs I highly recommend it.

We were driving by on our way somewhere else and decided to give this place a try we were not disappointed everything we ordered was delicious. As an appetizer calamari. The kids ordered the chicken Alfredo and Spaghetti with meatballs my boyfriend ordered the New York with lobster and I ordered the Vodka Penne with chicken for desert the New York Cheese Cake and bottle of Rabble Red Wine . Our server Oscar gave great recommendations. Next time we visit Palm Springs we know where to go for a great Italian dinner.
This restaurant is located at the end of the strip in Palm
This restaurant is located at the end of the strip in Palm Springs. Restaurant gives off an older feel, I'll assume it's been around a while. The staff are very friendly. Bread basket is given at the start of your meal, bread was not warm and it was a bit hard. I ordered a cocktail, my current favorite a Negroni. I was not impressed with the presentation of the cocktail, I believe in a nice presentation and the orange slice was a bit too much. A nicely orange peel twist would've done the presentation well. The taste was okay but the ice was a bit much A nice, square ice cube, rather than a bunch of small ice cubes would've made this cocktail better. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs(not pictured) the sauce and meatballs lacked flavor. The Greek salad was delicious. Table linen seems to have gone through many decades of service. Unless your palette is okay with unsavory dishes, this place will work for you.
Nice restaurant at one end of the strip.
This feels like the start of the main street downtown Palm Springs. So you can start here and then make your way down the main strip. The food was good and we enjoyed the dinner. My main issue and reason for 4 stars is the service. To start, we didn't have reservations but wanted to sit outside. There were plenty of open tables but they said the only table available was this table in the corner, which was directly in the sun. We asked for another table but they said no. I understand if someone had reservations and was going to show up, but the table was empty even when we left the restaurant.....so thanks for the worst table. Second, they kept messing up the order. I ordered a drink which never came out, so I asked them to cancel it at the end of dinner. There was an issue with some of the muscles in the Paella, and it took so long to fix we asked them to forget it and they brought it out as we were leaving. Service could improve but it's a nice restaurant with good food.

I just don't understand the good reviews this place gets as the food is mediocre at best. I had the chicken marsala and I found the sauce bland and the marsala must have been on the breath of the cook who prepared it (it certainly wasn't prepared by a chef by any stretch of the term). The vegetables were so overcooked that they were favorless and turned to mush when cut with a fork, only the potatoes were acceptable. This restaurant may be owned by an Italian family, but the food is far from authentic. I myself, make far better Chicken Marsala at home and any Il Fornaio restaurant (located throughout CA) offers food that puts this to shame. This was definitely a one time experience that will not be repeated. In the future we will go past Palm Springs and straight to Palm Desert or La Quinta where there are many fine dining choices that do not disappoint.
So I will first say that we were very excited about this
So I will first say that we were very excited about this restaurant. The appetizer and French onion soup was great! Then came our entrees.........the presentation was lack luster at best! Now to the food it self, the vegetables look as if they were boiled in water and tasted the same. Reminded me of the food we would eat when we had dinners with my grandfather at his nursing home! ZERO flavor! I order a filet and my husband the pork chop. Not sure how they did this but the inside of the chop was crazy hot and the rest was luck warm at best. My steak was smothered in a broken mushroom glaze that tasted like it fell out of a can. The steak itself again had ZERO flavor! I'm not sure how you do that at a steak house. Sent the food back and they did not charge us. Would recommend In and Out over this place any day!

I usually don't write bad reviews but our experience was very bad. I went to Riccio's with my family earlier this evening and we ordered few pasta dishes, salads and a chicken parmigiana. First, the bread they served to the table was stale and seemed old. The salad wasn't seasoned and didn't taste like much, but the worse part is the main dishes- All of the pastas came extremely watery and it felt like I'm eating a pasta soup, the chicken parmigiana was chewy and a little raw, It had hard pieces I couldn't chew in it and overall didn't enjoy any of the dishes whatsoever. I will definitely won't eat there again and won't recommend it to anyone else.
Have given this place repeated opportunities as a co local.
The food can be quite good, but the service on EVERY occasion has been rock-bottom. Most recently I found myself completely forgotten between dinner and dessert when a party of ten completely consumed my alleged server's attention. With so many other quality Italian choices available, it's best to move on.
Riccio's is a terrific restaurant! The food is always great
Riccio's is a terrific restaurant! The food is always great and the service is top notch! We always have to go here when we come to Palm Springs. The vacation is not complete without a Riccio's visit!
First time here and was an ok experience.
The service was good. We were seated immediately per our reservation. Enjoyed the cocktails and then for dinner I opted for the sea bass and asked if pasta could be substituted for the potatoes. This was done and was delicious! My dinner mate had the clams and pasta. She was disappointed as the flavor was bland with no seasoning. There was way too much juice and was more of a soup.
