Great place for dinner.
Food was exceptional and the staff was extremely helpful and prompt. Owner was there and was intent on making sure everyone was completely satisfied with their meal. Will certainly go back again.
Be the first to ReplyGood food and good service.
Nice steak house with some Italian dishes also. Pork Chop was nicely prepared.

I got the steak new York it did not taste anything like a dry aged peace of meat tasted like a choice steak and don't get me started on the cooking process looked like they boiled it then put sear marks on it. The potatoe were burned and the portion was ridiculous potatoes don't cost that much cheap fucks then they give you a big ugly steamed peace of broccoli and I don't know what the fuck to call the carrots both were cold could of stayed in the water longer Chef. Only thing that made the steak good was the package pepper corn sauce. And the service was horrible waiters were not attentive to me as they were to their other guest could it have been that I was wearing a green big jacket and a black hat so they thought I was going to eat and dash or could it be that I didn't have big bling on or I wasn't old and rich honestly don't know it was not busy and you can't even fit more that 100 guest in that small restaurant. Then they serve you bread with no butter you have to ask makes no sense. Honestly if your old like to get drunk and are easily pleased and don't mind what you eat this make a great spot as for me I never go out to eat this occasion justifies my reasoning. As a cook cooking 12 year in kitchens would not recommend I was wearing a big green jacket black hat sat outside table of 1

Hubby and I were planning to order steak, but then Chicken Marsala was served to the table next to us. We swiveled and were glad we did! Our serving of the chicken Marsala and chicken Piccata were full of flavor, cooked perfectly and huge. Each of us had a glass of house wine and it was good. In fact we noted them in our wine log for good everyday wine. Price point for the high food quality, service and ambiance is a steal in the customers favor. Can't wait to go back and try their steak but the chicken might win....

Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I have walked and driven by this restaurant
My husband and I have walked and driven by this restaurant for years, planning to try it some day. Yesterday was the day, and now we wonder why we waited so long to have a delicious steak dinner and salmon dinner at this locally owned restaurant that has been in business for over thirty years.Parking is available behind the restaurant or along downtown Palm Spring's main drag. Inside tables are available, but the great flat outdoor patio is perfect when my husband's foot is in a cast.Service was great, and my salmon was moist and flavorful, not overcooked, while their garlic mashed potatoes were perfection. We won't wait long to return here.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a find! Wonderful, quiet, romantic Italian dinner.
We walked by one evening and saw the outside lights on the patio. Decided to come back for an early dinner a few nights later and boy are we glad we did. We decided to sit inside and Oscar took great care of us. Friendly, courteous customer service. Food was outstanding. Clams linguine and eggplant Parmesan. If you are looking for a great Italian meal, check out Riccio's. We'll be back.

I ordered the Mediterranean Seafood. The crab legs were definitely off. They had a very distinctive fishy flavor and the meat was grey. Our server was quite unhappy switching it out for me. Then he added the price of my original meal into the price of my husband's and charged us $120 for the surf and turf in addition to charging for my second meal! We had three meals and two sodas, no alcohol for over $200. While the other meals were good we will not return and will tell others of our bad experience.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service! We arrived on time.
We were seated on the patio (no choice given). I was freezing and they refused to move us to an obviously open table! They did not offer to add another heater or apologize. It was New Years Eve! We were forced to scramble to find another option!Terrible service. Happy New Year Riccios!
Be the first to ReplyWe were looking forward to a nice dinner tonight.
We had high expectations for this place. Unfortunately, the fillet mignon was dry- needed a sauce. Surf and turn and veggies needed seasoning. I just wonder how a place like this with a chef that probably went to culinary school could miss those details.
Be the first to ReplyI was out working in the area so I stopped by for dinner.
It was a party of one. I opted to order a few things, since I didn't have any plans for the evening might as well pig out. Street parking is available.I had a warm welcome to be seated, my table was facing the busy street so I had a nice view. Complimentary bread and olive oil was brought out. Ordered a cocktail and started with calamari as the appetizer. The appetizer comes with lemon and a nice calamari sauce. Perfectly cooked and so tasty. Next I ordered the ravioli, it was so delicious - I loved the pink sauce. The ravioli was cooked just right. I basically finished this whole plate. Finally i also ordered the salmon plate, which was a miss for me. The salmon tasted over seasoned, it was a bit salty for my taste. The entrees took a little bit of time to be served but I didn't mind since I had the appetizer. Overall, I'd recommend this nice restaurant. I appreciate the pleasant service. I'd be happy to return.
Be the first to ReplyPro: Clean family joint, sweet server.
Cons: Food overpriced for both quality and taste. House wine was a no go; cocktail was also lackluster.
Be the first to ReplyWe really love this restaurant.
We came here for my daughter's birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. Their service was really good, polite servers, we enjoyed our meals. I got the salmon, my girls got the steak, chicken Alfredo and penne vodka. And definitely would recommend the drinks. I got the Bellini which was actually quite strong and my daughter got the pink taco which was delicious but she claims was not that strong but it was still good. Anyway really nice to sit on the patio with the misters and the food was really delicious. We highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyThe food was AMAZING.
Oscar was great. I'm from New York and the steamed mussels and clams took me back to when I was a kid
Be the first to ReplyWe arrived early and without a reservation.
They tools us right away since it was 4:30. Definitely recommend a reservation if you want to eat at a normal time. The food was quite good. The cocktails were also good. I was most impressed with the fact that they had a decent kids menu. We ordered the shrimp and fries for kids and it came with 3 huge shrimp - same size as the shrimp cocktail shrimp. Our seafood was cooked perfectly. We had: surf and turf (filet mignon and lobster tail), roasted salmon, broiled scallops, mixed green salad, herb crusted calamari appetizer and shrimp cocktail appetizer. Can't complain about any of the food. Service was excellent. The surf and turf was "market price" and ended up $110 when the rest of the entrees were in the $30 range so that was quite a surprise when the bill came. They included 20% gratuity in the total bill which was totally fine. All around excellent for an impromptu family meal. I just wish I took more pictures. Will update this review if I can get pictures from the others around the table.

After reading some of the negative reviews I have to say that I don't understand the criticism. My husband and I ate here for our 20th wedding anniversary during our vacation to Palm Springs. Â The service was impeccable and the food was to die for.l! We shared the calamari as an appetizer, which was delicious, and I also enjoyed the lobster bisque before our meal. Â Again delicious!!!As for our entrees, I enjoyed the Pear Field Greens Salad and the Lobster raviolis. My husband devoured the Filet Mignon with herb butter! Â No complaints on either side! As a treat they included two delicious dessert cannolis to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Â Definitely added to our list of our place to eat when visiting Palm Springs!!!
Be the first to ReplyMy husband & I had an early dinner here.
...made a reservation ahead of time & had a good experience. Â We were told that it has been host to many celebrities over the years. We sat inside since I read some of the reviews of those sitting outside & could see where both the walking traffic as well as the vehicle traffic could be a nuisance.I had the paella & he had the stuffed chicken breast. Both were nice servings & very nicely presented. The wine & cocktail list were very good as well as the homemade cheesecake that we shared for dessert. Our server Oscar was very attentive without being overly so. A great place!

With so many choices in Palm Springs you have to have your A game if you're going to charge me $42 for a rack of lamb. Yes it was terrible but I get it that happens. But what led to my review was the sloppy presentation, under cooked veggies and potatoes that were inedible. Just a very poor experience. For $75/person it has to be better than this. Go elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyIt was merely ok.
Waitress was really nice which was probably the best part of our meal. Filet was not very good. Flavor was bland. Carrots were under  cooked. There were many other restaurants we passed walking to Riccio's that looked and smelled so much better. We sat inside and I hate to say it feels dated and a little run down. Definitely not a bad experience but I was not wowed with food or atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyPlease don't order the filet mignon here.
I've eaten hundreds of filet mignons in different places and this was not, in my opinion, a tenderloin of beef.  It was a very tough and chewy cut of meat. Maybe a choice sirloin but can't be sure other than I don't believe it was tenderloin, again in my opinion. Other items and Italian food were actually quite nice.  But can't positively rate a place that serves steaks like that.
Be the first to ReplyHad an AMAZING dinner at Riccio's on Thursday afternoon.
Came into Palm Springs to explore Thursday Nights Village Fest and decided to have dinner before exploring the various booths and displays. Found great parking behind Riccio's and walked right up to be seated in their beautiful patio overlooking the main drag!Oscar was our waiter and he was FANTASTIC! We ordered two martinis and they came out quickly... and were Delish. I ordered the Espresso martini because I needed a little jolt and it was probably the best espresso martini I've ever had!Our meals were prepared to perfection! And the portions were very generous! We would have had desert but wanted to walk off our dinner and try desert at Village Fest. Can't wait to come back again!
Be the first to ReplyThank you Riccio for a delicious dinner last night.
Cannelloni was finger licking good. Risotto was a garlic delight. The ambiance was lovely. And our server has fun and light, just what we needed.
Be the first to ReplyWe decided to try a different steakhouse here in town.
We started off with the oysters, which tasted fresh. I really enjoyed the greek salad. Unfortunately, the steak lacked any flavoring. I rarely, if ever need to add salt and pepper to cooked steaks in restaurants, so for that I must deduct stars. Otherwise this is a lovely family owned business, perhaps one of the seafood items may be better to try.
Be the first to ReplyUnfortunately, I did not trust my instinct when booking at
Unfortunately, I did not trust my instinct when booking at Riccio's Steak and Seafood.  Namely, what restaurant of worth in Palm Springs has a last minute opening on a Saturday night?  I ordered medium Cowboy (ribeye) steak.  It was well.  Sent it back and 30 minutes later received medium.  I preferred no sauce admittedly (precisely so as not to cover up the authentic flavor of the steak), but, still, it was flavorless -- bland beyond what salt and pepper could salvage.  Before ordering, I asked the server, Oscar, whether the steak was grilled over open fire to which he replied, "yes."  Not a chance; it tasted microwaved, not even pan cooked!  Or else they used a bic lighter!  Also, I like vegetables cooked with a slight crunch, but, the rosemary potatoes were hard to the point of still raw in the center.  Carrots and broccoli I thought were cooked perfectly.  However, all vegetables were absolutely flavorless, also beyond what salt and pepper (and butter) could fix. My friend ordered filet mignon, rare, and he said it was "tough and flavorless," and that he "bet I would not be coming back to this place, again."  I tasted it:  He was right on both accounts.  My other friend ordered the Chicken Riccio.  He was impressed with the mushroom sauce but commented the chicken was "tough and rubbery."  I tasted, and true enough. He said, his "carrots and broccoli were overcooked."  I was surprised since my potatoes were practically raw.  I tasted and concurred:  They were stunningly overcooked!  By the way, the menu on Riccio's homepage appears spectacular with cornucopia of choices.  The menu provided at the restaurant I could have fit the options in a thimble with room leftover.  What a disheartening setup.  The drinks!  I was designated driver so did not order, whereas my friends ordered martinis.  Presentation was spectacular -- large martini glasses filled to the brim plus little glass or acrylic carafes on ice with the extra pour.  Drinks sucked!  I tasted both martinis; could taste the water through the vodka.  Speaking of presentation:  The bread was served warm (Congratulations!) and the balsamic  vinegar and oil were in a clever looking split oil/vinegar pour bottle.  It had to have been the least aged, cheapest balsamic vinegar I had ever tasted.  When I removed the tiny cork stoppers it occurred to me how many hundreds of fingers / week touch these non-cleanable surfaces, both ends of the corks.  Gross!  I don't know what the Chef has over the owner/investor(s) warranting continued employment.  But, as I scrawled on my receipt (leaving 0 percent tip first time in my life), "Chef should be fired."  Next time, I hope I trust my instinct.
