Good for lunch and evening, prices are Central London prices but the food quality and service is good, I had the duck which was lovely

Margaux, our waitress, could not have been better. My daughter and I have multiple food allergies, so eating out can be difficult. Margaux was so helpful and made sure we were safe. The food was delicious! My daughter had the steak and I had the lamb-both were very good. I also highly recommend the grilled artichoke appetizer-so good!!

We were seated quickly but the service was so slow we had to ask the hostess if we had a server. We ordered an appetizer that was forgotten then our food came out. I had the pasta with crab that tasted like the kitchen had run out of crab and poured clam juice over pasta . It was a crime scene that Iโll never return to!

I was sitted by Denise and served by Denise! Honestly the best experience I have ever had! I went there for dinner with my friend and she helped us picked the food and helped with wine pairing which yeah best combinations ever! We had the market fish and we loved the wine! She is just amazing! She introduced us to the disloyalty and made us come back! Well done Denise for your hard work and dedication! She is an example to everyone!

I thoroughly enjoyed my patronage at the Hoxton in Holborn, Uk. The ambience is really great, and the servers, especially Denise, are super attentive and welcoming. Denise introduced me to the Disloyalty membership program, which after thorough consideration made a lot of sense for my specific needs. I had a great night with my girlfriend. The tables are spaced and have candles to enlight the dinner. I recommend to start with a London Calling as a cocktail. The food was great, with good taste and textures. They have a good selection of wine. It is quite affordable for the experience. We had the chance to be attented to by Albert, who was amazingly nice and welcoming. We trusted him on his suggestions, and he always got it right!

One of the best restaurants that Iโve been to. Staff were extremely friendly especially the Denise who served me and made such everything was perfect. She constantly checked to see anyways was needed and gave a recommendation when asked . She recommended Duck with broccoli and spinach as a side which I can say hands down was very flavourful and prepared well. Look forward to visiting again .

Hoxton is amazing! Did not know anything about the menu , but lovely looking waitress named Denise , helped me with this and she recommended a really good cocktail called Sticky Fingered Fizz which was amazing! 5 stars for the food and 10 stars for Denise , which is very charming and hard working girl. Well Done!

Great buzzing atmosphere on arrival So we were looking forward to a good working lunch We Ordered light as it was lunchtime but the dishes did not match expectations on taste or description to menu I ordered the potato and crab starter - the potato straws were smaller than match sticks and the white crab as non existent which for ยฃ13 was a rip off Wish I had asked for the lobby menu instead โฆ Also the fire alarm went off while we where there and we were unsure whether we needed to leave our table or not . There was no reassurance or communication from the waitresses until the alarm had been sounding for a few minute which was disconcerting and we felt ignored Sadly wonโt be returning in a hurry

This relatively simple restaurant serves some decent meals including the polenta. However, the Reubin sandwich (with no bread) was not very good. The meat was tough and a bit gross. The chips were good. Service was fine.

We visited Rondo in error (we were booked into a different restaurant). When we realised our mistake, we couldnโt have been treated with more kindness. So much so that we will definitely be back!

I have no idea why this place is rated so low. I booked a late lunch here as it was close to my office and convenient for a business lunch. I wasn't expecting too much due to the low reviews here but I was blown away.
Its not cheap but you are in central London at an up-market hotel so its not really surprising.
We had the sole fillet, roast chicken and crispy polenta with sides of broccoli, potato wedges and cabbage. Everything we had was really delicious.
Fresh ingredients, innovative, really tasty and attentive friendly service.
When I have a bit more time, I would definitely go back for a full three courses

Detail below if you're interested - but essentially being treated like commodities not guests is not something we ever return to. There are so many other places that get the balance right. The management ethos here is not very enlightened or guest experience focussed. Some lovely staff but undermined by ridiculous, unnecessary and counter-productive behaviour. Having worked in the industry for many years in the past this is not how you build a good reputation, attract guests or retain staff.
Detail: After a meal out, and on our way home, we dropped in for a drink at 10.45pm, the bar looked cosy and inviting. After being invited to take a seat by a lovely member of bar staff, another staff member then asked us to to sit elsewhere (not sure why) but we complied. Unfortunately sitting in the window was uncomfortably bright, spotlit by outside lighting so we found another more comfortable seat and politely asked if we could sit there instead - a begrudging yes followed. All very odd.
Our drinks order was taken, delivered and paid for in about 10 minutes - drinks good but expensive.
At 11pm the music was abruptly turned off and the lights put on full blast. No explanation, no communication. Many guests including several that arrived after us (ie very close to 11pm) looked around pretty confused, incredulous and then annoyed. The doorman then went round telling everyone they had 15 minutes to drink up. Whilst we appreciate there maybe licensing restrictions or hotel policies this is not how you implement them if you want guests to feel welcome, valued or return. We assumed there must be another bar for hotel guests but it seems they got the same treatment as us - just awful. We left as soon as we could finish our drinks as the atmosphere was pretty toxic and uncomfortable.
Expensive, not that good
We visited the bar of this hotel which does table service via an app you download using a QR code, due to COVID. What is not made clear is that the advertised bar prices are then subject to a 12.5% service charge. Also, if you order a pint donโt expect a full measure, 9/10โs of a pint at best! Atmosphere compromised by a lot of singles sitting around engrossed in their laptops.
