Rumi's sets the bar for Persian food in Atlanta for a reason! This last trip we feasted on the grilled shrimp, hummus, falafel, cherry rice and more. Ended with their pistachio baklava (with hints of orange) that was the best I've ever had. Attentive service and a beautiful space. The noise level is quite raucous as but that just adds to the energy the place has.

!!!!! Came here on a Monday evening with my church group. It was a group of 13! Our server AJ was very accommodating & swift with our order. His knowledge of the menu & details of every dish was quite impressive. It is very obvious that Rumi's Kitchen train their workers well. Parking was complimentary valet .. but of course you always leave a tip for the kind valet drivers. :)The ambiance was very nice & balanced. Upscale, but warm. Intimate. Loved the atmosphere. Romantic for date night. Portion sizes were huge.! I love that they had options to "taste" or "feast". Feast plates come with a huge side of rice of choice. Being such a large party, we decided to "feast" 10 of the entree's amongst the table. Taste: We ordered the corn, kale salad, wings, smoked salmon hummus, lamb hummus. Feast:We ordered 2 smoked salmon, 2 chicken barg, beef barg, lamb kabob, shrimp, roasted vegetables, 2 Chilean sea bass. The FOOD WAS AMAZING.!! Everything was well seasoned, well balanced, well cooked, well plated. Ugh, the Sea bass was the best I've had in a while!!!! No one, in our group of 13, had a complaint! Only compliments to the chef , the server, & bartender! :))We had plenty of food to take home.! Dessert: we tried the creme brûlée & the white chocolate cardamom cake + ice cream.! Both were very yummy.! I definitely will be returning to Rumi's.! I highly recommend you give this place a try! Totally worth it!!

What has happened to this fabulous spot for service and food!!!??? Waited 0 minutes for .... Water!!! Service was .. okay... wasn't. Food, not usual fabulous fare. Not sure about salad or other food but both of us sick in the afternoon. What has happened. So sorry for this response . Used to love the atmosphere, food, service. On to other restaurants.

The ambience was very nice for a date night or girls night out. The food was good, but could use more flavor in my opinion. My favorite was the shrimp appetizer.

Nothing compares! Their service is impeccable as is the decor.

Oh my stars! Everything was so delicious, and you tell the quality and freshness of all the ingredients. AJ was my server, and he was kind, patient and knowledgeable. Absolutely will be back!

On the recommendation of a colleague, we visit Rumi's for lunch. The food was very tasty: we had hummus, falafel, salmon, and a chicken dish. I also appreciate that the complimentary water was a choice of either still or sparkling. One suggestion - share! The portions are very large. One "feast" plate is definitely sufficient for 2 adults. It's a pretty classy place. Would be great for a date night. One thing I find annoying - I really dislike being forced to valet park - especially when it's not busy and bustling.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous Mediterranean food and service.
Fresh and wonderful. Great service and two locations . Looking forward to going back soon.

There was some smell in lamb ka and. Service was slow in the beginning. Later got better but first impression wasn't good for service.

We had a dinner reservation for a party of 10 + 1 baby at 5:30 pm on 2/18/23.The bread and sabzi that comes out before the meal is always sooo good. The bread is fresh and warm. The feta, mint, radish, and walnuts are the perfect thing to whet my appetite. We split 5 appetizers (tastes), 7 entrees (feasts), and subbed one rice for grilled vegetables. Subbing the rice, at the suggestion of our waitress, was the move because 5 rices would've been too much. The grilled vegetables gave us the perfect ratio. Here's what we got:- Tastes: Labne ($10), Shirazi Salad ($11), Falafel ($14), Kashk Badenjoon ($14), Lamb Hummusiya ($14).- Feasts: Chicken Barg ($29), Roasted Salmon ($34), Lamb Kabob ($35), Soltani Kabob ($37), Shrimp Kabob x2 ($37 each).- Rice, in order of my preference: Adas, Shirin, Zereshk, Baghali. I would actually not get the Baghali again. I would sub the Adas or Shirin for the Baghali.I got the Passion Fruit Homemade Soda ($3.50) and wasn't impressed. That's the only other thing I wouldn't get again.Everything was delicious, as always! You can't go wrong at Rumi's. It's pricey, but it comes with so much food. Go with a big group so you can try a lot!
Be the first to ReplyConvenient valet parking.
Waiting area limited. Flavorful food lends to an enjoyable group experience.

Valet parking rude and unprofessional! They don't care about anyone except making tips. When you call them out on their bad behavior (like one of them saying to F**k off and the rest laughing), the valet manager does nothing about it. Not worth the parking mess.

Service and ambience are great, food is just okay, too pricey for what it is. I would say that the food lacks soul and needs more flavor. Drinks were good, nice bartenders. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would but not 4.
