Sacha Restaurant Madrid Reviews
We met up with a friend that lives in Spain and made
We met up with a friend that lives in Spain and made reservations for this place for us to try. The restaurant is beautiful and intimate. Service was amazing and the staff is very helpful and speaks English and Spanish. Dishes seemed to be French Mediterranean Spanish fusion. Huge selection of wines to choose from. Bread baskets are on all tables already. After each dish new plates and utensils were brought to try the next dish. 5/5 Fried artichoke was thinly sliced artichoke that's fried and paired well with all dishes. Lightly fried and not oily and so crispy. This was a first for me and it was amazing! 5/5 Tortilla De Trufa is a must try! Basically a thin egg omelette with thinly sliced potatoes and blood sausage. Green chilies compliment the dish well. This dish as the server called it was a lazy omelette since it cooked quickly just on one side. 3/5 white artichoke was decent but a bit too creamy and heavy for a vegetable starter. 3/5 steak and potatoes was mediocre. Not tender for the price so I would pass. However why come to Madrid and have basic steak and potatoes when there are so many other dishes to try. Overall it's a very expensive spot and portions are decent but sharable if you want to try a bit of everything. It's not American portions and remember you're visiting a different country. It was a once in a lifetime experience for myself and a good spot for a foodie to try.
Great food and service, the lamb shanks were amazing.
The deconstructed lasagne wasn't my favorite, but it was still fun to try. They didn't have an English menu, so make sure to bring a phone that can translate if you don't speak Spanish.
King crab lasagna was my favorite, rich and delicate.
Tortilla with mushrooms is good especially if you like your eggs runny. The tomatoes dish is so simple but so fresh and delicious.
Cosy retsuarant
Cosy, unpretentious restaurant with a great staff. Good food and good service with a good wine list make it worth a try.
For me ? Perfect !
For me β¦. PERFECT Jason did an excellent job of helping me choose those dishes that were βspecialβ. The omelette with potato and blood sausage was excellent, with eggs that were only cooked enough so you knew it was an omelette. Accompanied by a side of very thinly sliced asparagus with a slightly acidic and spicy dressing. Next, the skate; RICH, TENDER, BUTTERY β¦. DELICIOUS And finally(as I was full) β¦ a whole pigs ear ! an explosion of flavor AND TEXTURE in your mouth. Crispy Skin + Soft Skin + Chewy Cartilage + Soft Fatty bits = AMAZING All washed down with a glass of cava and house red. Sacha introduced himself and suggested I would enjoy the asparagus better if I used my hands π Iβll be back in Madrid in June and will try to re-visit.
Amazing restaurant.
One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. From the fantastic food to the perfect service and the beautiful garden terrace it was just perfect. A must if you're in Madrid and can snag a reservation.
