Great tasty food, nice ambience, fast service.
Best pizza in the neighborhood, highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyI didn't shut up about how good their pizza was.
It's that good. You won't shut up about it. Waiter was helpful. Good atmosphere, too.

I'm new to bed-stye and my friend and I came across this place. I usually don't leave reviews but the service had me so surprised. Our server, Maya was extremely attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and genuinely kind. All of the staff was very warm and welcoming, and the food was outstanding! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

bury me in saraghina brussel sprouts and i will be more content in the afterlife than i am any living moment i am not ingesting saraghina brussel sprouts (also all the staff are great and the hot coppa pizza is sick) (those sprouts tho)
Be the first to Replya large spacious italian restaurant in bedford-stuyvesant.
it is fairly busy to walk in, but they have a bar area where you can sit and order food. the food came out so fast. we had the tuscany skin contact wine and the chianti by the glass, the fennel sausage pizza, cacio e pepe and mixed salad to share between two people. this is definitely a place for their pizza (it is first on the menu.) they had a diverse list of pies.

Ordered a pizza and the misticanza salad. Looks good from the description right? I went to pick the items up. Pizza looked fine. Salad was a handful of mesclun. Nothing else. No cheese, nuts, seeds, anything. $16. Appalled. The pizza was $20 and quite overpriced but what can you say, everything is in NYC these days. BUT THE SALAD? HELL NO!

Bed-Stuy proved to me there is a fighting chance that it can have good pizza. I have eaten at a few pizzerias in this neighborhood and have always come up short or felt disappointed. This is a game changer. This pizzeria offers your breakfast offerings but the pizza is the main draw here. It is done in Neapolitan style, which means that they are setting the bar high. They set the bar even higher with their offerings in toppings, and their specialty pies, which if you know me by now, I got two. Go ahead, make my pies. The Breakfast pie was one I had to go with, along with their Margherita, which is a good baseline for trying any Neapolitan pizza. The first pie is an insane flavor concoction. The egg, the meats, all taste terrific. It is an out of bounds pie; once it cools it only makes everything taste better. The Margherita pie is what it is. Nothing flashy but nothing terrible. It can very easily be polished off by a hungry diner, but you will want to save some slices for later. I did this. The service is very good too. My server, James, was intelligent and provided great service. Most servers simply do the bare minimum and he went above and beyond in his work. Thank you James for a fun experience. Props to the hostess too. She was great as well. Knowledgable and inquisitive with a yearning to do better. I like that in a restaurant employee. Finally Bed-Stuy, things might be looking up for you after all.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice pizza- one suggestion for the vegan cheese.
It has too much coconut flavor- there are plenty of vegan cheeses without this inappropriate flavor. Thanks
Be the first to ReplyI love this place and location.

Be the first to ReplyI visited on a very cold almost snowy evening.
The bar was cozy and the bartender was friendly! Moved to the restaurant when my friend arrived. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was the delicious. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. No photos of the pizza because we were too busy eating! But I really liked the COPPA & CARCIOFI. Looking forward to visiting again!

Be the first to ReplyBrooklyn for a day.
..stopped into Saraghina! Great atmosphere and chill vibe. The pizza was the best I've had in awhile. Back to try the brunch soon!!

Returned for brunch on a Sunday at 12 and waited about 15 mins for a table for 2. I started with a drip coffee, then my boyfriend and I shared the seasonal ortolana puzza (awesome), omelette of the day (it had mozzarella, spinach and caramelized onions and was decent), and the ricotta and tart cherry pancakes (these were the highlight).Deducting a star because our server was really bad, which put a damper on the experience, and because the food was solid but not amazing. Overall I'd say this place is no longer worth the trek from where I live in Queens, but the bakery next door is, and you may as well hit up the restaurant while you're in the area.

The quality of food has seriously gone down hill, you can tell they've cheapened there menu. Idk what they've changed since the new year but I'll no longer be returning. if you do go here get the pizza, it's still amazing. Beyond that, none of the servers even seem to know what's on the menu or even know what's going on

4.5 stars - Tldr great food would recommend Came here at 5:30 on a Saturday and was seated immediately outside (indoor table was a 20min wait). We started with the half liter red-wine, very good deal for a $29 half liter that came out to 6 glasses.Food very very solid but not blown away. Rigatoni was yummy, worth getting. Short rib was very tender but could've used more salt. Olives tasted great. Ricotta cheesecake was unique and enjoyed the taste Would come again to try the pizza and sit indoors!

Delicious and affordable brunch! My friend and I popped over for brunch. We wanted to go to a place that didn't have too long of a line on president's day. We didn't have to wait long at all. I got the o omelette of the day which had truffle and spinach. My friend got the Norwegese which she said was delicious. Overall great meal! The coffee is also from La Colombe which was an added bonus.
Be the first to ReplyThe pizza is amazing.
The service is fine. I enjoy the outdoor seating in the summer. The indoor seating is a little weird to me...something about the layout just doesn't seem right.
Be the first to ReplyI am born and raised in Brooklyn.
I have been around all types of people my entire life. I lived here when it was unpopular in some respects. And, now popular in others. But, one thing I will NEVER tolerate is disrespect. That is, but for the gender of the classless Caucasian manager Emily from Sereghena earlier an unnecessary escalation may have ensued. Why? Here are the facts for your review. 1) We entered there around 7:05 pm earlier.2) We added our name to their waitlist3) We waited at the bar, drank and then closed the tab. The bartender was professional. 4) We were seated, enjoyed our overpriced meal/desert and then the night turned for the worst irrevocably. Drinks were priced average. 5) Why you say?6) The petulant manager came out of no where to our table and said 'you have ten minutes left since there is a 90 minute limit on eating] and then she abruptly departed. She never introduced herself. She never asked us how our meal or separate dessert was. She just walked up on us, interrupted our meal to advise of an alleged policy neither the host, the venue (a purported sign at the entrance) or the server told us about up front. 7) In shock we looked at each other and stated the following to each other: a) there was no sign at the entrance or beyond that said there was a 90 minute limit. b) we do not concede that we exceeded that time limit or that it matters if we did or not c) no hostess or waitress advised us this alleged policy d) I observed several other White couples there prior to us that did not receive the same harrassment e) if the waitress knew of the policy why did she offer to sell desert to us when I indicated I was ready to go after the meal f) I paid the bill and gave no tip for the bad service g) I attempted to track down and speak to the problem manager and she brushed me off h) I followed her and she seemingly had a disconnect with reality advising me where I could address her a few feet away from the initial contact as if I needed her permission to do anything i) I explained to her that she was unprofessional, inappropriate and needed to learn how to speak to different people in this community which was predominantly Black etc. j) I only mentioned race since it was clear there was overt and/or implicit bias in her unilaterally focusing on us when other Whites were there longer that we observed. Emily the so called manager was recalcitrant in her ignorance and unprofessional when I spoke to her afterwards. I won't waste another dime there. And, the plethora of groups that used to frequent there under my control will no longer frequent there as well. When they notice a 10% + decrease in business perpetually know that I was the impetus. Ignorant Emily has no clue who I am and how I can affect this business long term. She should have apologized when her staff told her we ordered desert and were good to stay as long as wanted. She not only screwed the waitress out of a tip, but she smeared the name of the business. So called managers like Emily are a threat to their own business and the community at large. Learn how to treat ALL people. Not, some people. Since they ruined our Valentine's Day date the public has been warned accordingly. Ironically, note the following:A) I've frequented this business years ago without issue. 5-10 years ago maybe. Maybe this new 'manager' is the sole problem and not the overall business. B) The server was fine overall. She didn't deserve to get caught up in the drama, but she did fail to tell us the alleged time limit up front which led to the issues in part. C) The hostess as we left attempted to be accountable for not stating the policy as we walked in. But, then she also was concurrently subtly defending the manager unnecessarily. While I am loathe to mentioning race there really is no other logical reason why the manager acted with such disdain towards us and said nothing to others. And, the specific things she said were just off. She should get diversity and/or professionalism training if she wants to last long in that type of business. How do you have a restaurant, but not have a sign that says the table time limit at the door? How do you try to retroactively enforce an unknown policy to a patron? What happened to grace and courtesy to be afforded all customers? Why not deescalate vs. incite conflict? The hostess and the server both had more leadership skills than the manager so maybe they should switch jobs. MC

Amazing cacio e Pepe and pizza was authentic and had the best cheese. Waiter was nice and we ordered a tea at the end because the vibes were just cute. Would recommend if you are in the mood for some great pasta!!
Be the first to ReplyLovely place, great vibe.
They gave us complimentary prosecco due to a longer wait than usual. We had some whipped ricotta with focaccia and the prosciutto mushroom pizza, and our friends got the margherita pizza. Everything was pillowy and delicious. I was stuffed. Fabulous service as well!
Be the first to ReplyCute little place in Brooklyn.
Decent options on the menu. Staff was friendly and we were seated immediately! Pizza was delish!

Went here with a crowd with special dietary restrictions (gluten allergy and Vegan). This place was so accommodating! The food was amazing and the dessert (chocolate mousse) was to die for!!
Be the first to ReplyOrder was 30 minutes late for pick up.
Usually food is spot on but get it together guys or at least treat your customers well instead of sorry we're just busy. Not a good experience at all.

We haven't been to the restaurant, but the delivery was perfect. We loved the pies; the crust and pizza was well-seasoned and not too salty, the crust was crispy and it was still hot when it arrived. We loved the funghi pie, and the brussel sprouts side. We can't wait to visit the restaurant next.
