Sasa Sushi Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! My husband and I came in a few hours
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! My husband and I came in a few hours ago for lunch. It wasn't the first time but it will be the last. They have a serious roach infestation. My purse was on the chair next to me and when I looked over there was a baby cockroach on my purse. I swatted at it and then couldn't find it. As I was freaking out checking my purse, it ran across my foot. I was wearing flip flops!! I started looking around and there was another one crawling next to the bar and another that had been stepped on. I made my husband stay to pay the check and I ran outside. AGAIN.... DO NOT EAT HERE!
We've been there for AYCE lunch.
It's okay but nothing special. Was disappointed with their nigiri and rolls. It seems like the tempura is ready made and cold. It's clean and perhaps better for dinner. It's not a place we will go back to,

Been a long time customer (though admittedly I haven't been here in a while through no fault of their own), and unfortunately it's quality has slipped in some key areas. I hope that they're able to tweak things to get it back to its former glory. 1. The menus and soy sauce bottles were sticky and filthy. My wife's menu had fish bones stuck to it when they handed it to her. That's just gross. Cleanliness has always been a high priority here so I hope that they get back on top of it. 2. The rice to fish ratio has gotten insanely off kilter. You still get a decently sized cut of fish, but it resides on a giant hill of rice that is just very unpleasant to eat and impossible to do in one bite. I had to cut half of the rice off of every piece of nigiri to get it where the ratio is standard for most AYCE places. To their credit, I wasn't given any hassle or charged extra for doing so. A lot of the good stuff is still there. The appetizers are great, the place is still cozy and not noisy like so many other places, the staff are still friendly, and most importantly the fish quality itself (outside of the imitation crab in one of the rolls) was really good and served at the right temperature. So, Sasa folks, if you read this, please take it as constructive criticism, and I look forward to being back once these issues are nipped in the bud.
Disappointing Experience and Unprofessional Response.
I recently visited this sushi restaurant with high expectations, only to be met with a truly disappointing experience. The wait time for our food was egregiously long, far beyond what one might consider reasonable even during peak hours. When our order finally arrived, the disappointment only continued; the food was underwhelming and did not meet the standard one would expect from a sushi establishment. Following my visit, I left a one-star review to honestly share my experience, hoping it might encourage the restaurant to address these issues. Instead of taking this feedback constructively, the restaurant chose to ban me, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and an unwillingness to accept and grow from customer critiques. This response is not only unacceptable but also reflects poorly on the management's attitude towards customer satisfaction and feedback. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience or value for their time and money. There are numerous other sushi places that not only offer superior quality and service but also handle customer feedback with the grace and professionalism it deserves.
One star is too generous for this establishment.
After a genuinely disappointing experience marked by subpar service and less than satisfactory food quality, I felt compelled to share my honest feedback in a previous review, hoping for improvement or at least acknowledgment. Instead, my attempt to provide constructive criticism was met with outright service refusal on my subsequent visit. It's disheartening to see a business not only ignore customer feedback but also retaliate against customers for voicing their experiences. This approach to customer service is unacceptable and showcases a lack of professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend a restaurant that prioritizes ego over improvement and customer engagement. There are plenty of other establishments that value and act upon customer feedback to enhance their service and offerings.
I was craving chicken or pork Katsu for lunch today.
Ordered chicken Katsu to go to as time was limited. It was a very short drive from my location of less than ten minutes. The disappointment when I opened my container to find out that sauce was poured over the chicken and rice. This made the food nearly inedible as the chicken was soggy and the rice mushy. Boy was I sad as this was not what I had expected. So once I tried it boy was I disappointed! Food rating for me was a one. On the bright side was the hard working waitress who was covering the three tables plus our to go order which seemed like a long wait. The atmosphere was adequate although the choice of music was interesting since we were at a Japanese restaurant.
Best place for all you can eat.
.RICE. Service was okay, rolls were okay..but the NIGIRI... 85% Rice, 10% Sashimi and 5% hope that you can eat it all. Walked out with heart burn.
I asked for the all you can eat dinner, which is $32.
99. I ordered a miso soup, which had no miso, it was broth and seaweed only, ordered a seaweed salad and that was good, the vegetable tempura was good, it had sweet potato, broccoli and zucchini, I then ordered a playboy roll, this was good, it was deep fried, I ordered a twist roll and it was bad, the octopus was chewy, it really feel like I had to chew like 2 minutes before I could swallow it. The service wasn't the best, one of my friends ordered a Lisa Lisa roll and she never got it. The Japanese lasagna took like 40 minutes to come out. Then, we asked to get the check split, but they were charging us an additional $7 each, we had to show them the bill was wrong, which they fixed. I needed up paying $42 for dinner and it just wasn't good.
Love coming here they are for sure a hidden gem, who ever
Love coming here they are for sure a hidden gem, who ever is on the aux know what theyre doing and they have yhe freshest nigiri ive tried in the city so far.
WARNING We ate here last night.
Since waking up this morning I have felt absolutely horrible! I've experienced loose BM's and feel hot but have the chills at the same time. I almost puked about an hour ago. I am wholly convinced that I am experiencing food poisoning. I plan on reporting this to the Health District. Stay far away from this place! Additionally, and in my opinion, there are way better places to choose from here in Vegas. The sushi was not good!
