Si! Mon Los Angeles Reviews
Was really disappointed by our bday celebration here.
As other reviews say, it is extremely dark and noisy, but so are other restaurants. We cared less about this and just wanted some yummy food!! The menu looks better than the taste of the food. We got the hamachi- rubbery and flavorless; scallops- oka
Amazing food, great ambiance, and exceptional service.
Exactly what you want in a nice restaurant. Sauces and flavor profile for all the dishes (Bragada, miso aged duck, pork chop) we got were great. The nance sauce on the pork was simply amazing. Both desserts were nice touch at the end. 10/10 experie

Was it loud, expensive and made me feel a tad old, yes.
But did the incredible food, drinks, service and overall style and ambiance more than make up for it, also yes!

I actually had a reservation here 8 months ago but my dining partner (my mom) went to the wrong restaurant accidentally. And then had a reservation that ended up not happening. So they say the third time is the charm. To drink I had the Cloud Forest
Very nice dining experience.
Food was top notch. We got the coconut ceviche 10/10, Cesar was unique in flavor and the greens were fresh. We also got the pupusa which was served very hot with a sour cream, salsa, and cabbage. To finish we had the hangar steak which was amazing. O

A few of their dishes have gone downhill though I still love coming here. They appear to have changed the recipe for the shrimp dumplings and the steak skewer over the summer. Both are more bland now. The steak had a super bright Central American coa

Taste of South America in the heart of Venice Beach
Si! Mon is an exploration of what it means to be a Central American restaurant in Los Angeles. It means a menu that offers chef Jose Carles' personal interpretation of the culinary history of Panama and its neighboring Central American countries

Been here three times, and now I'm finally done.
Kinda surprised I got there for the third time, but friends really wanted to go and I said OK. I got what I deserved. First I have to give credit: the food is very good. Maybe not LA-top level, but definitely good. Of course, they are within like a

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Si! Mon Los Angeles at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Si! Mon Los Angeles page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* CompellingStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* CompellingStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to CompellingStation67 for any questions Peter may have as CompellingStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* CompellingStation67 now uses their connections at Si! Mon Los Angeles to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If CompellingStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, CompellingStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to CompellingStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Si! Mon Los Angeles!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
