A very creative, romantic and special small restaurant
A very creative, romantic and special small restaurant located near the Sorbonne. Wonderful atmosphere and service by the owner whose husband is the chef. Pricier wines brought the meal up to around a $100/pp but you could spend much less ordering more modest drinks.

A lot of food. Most dishes very inventive and tastes great. Lots of surprises and great flavor. Solid service and an interesting decor. It was a good meal. We eat fast for three people took about 2.5 hrs. Well recommended and surely deserving of the Michelin star!See my pictures for more details. Easier for things to come back to me when checking the photos.

A outstanding restaurant! We arrived at this small but charming place expecting classic Italian food but to our surprise they had a small inventive menu. We sat down and after ordering a bottle of wine plates started to come to the table. Small tastes from the chef. Amazing little taste such as a beer root meringue with horseradish cream and an egg yolk injected with mussel stock and truffle oil. Everything was so perfect and unique. My 16 year old son tried everything and he is not usually one to take food risks. The service was outstanding and totally professional. I would go out of my way to eat here again and I suggest you do.

Weightless, Amazing Flavors, Beautiful Hosts! 5 of us meeting up in Paris sought this Michelin starred Italian restaurant! The chef emailed me personally to reserve. This was one of the most amazing dinners in my 52 years of life. I live in LA and visit Paris once a year for more than 14 years! Husband and wife team took care of us, it was raining and we had the amazing table in front of the fireplace! What we ate seemed weightless in our mouths, yet so much flavor..... that picture on the internet with what looks like an egg yolk on a spoon is a tease... when we swallowed that bite, the 5 of us looked at each other and could not believe what we were eating! It just got better from there! Come and be amazed by this authentic Italian restaurant, we already reserved it for our next visit!! Samuel, you are an amazing talent and wish you and your family an amazing future!!

.. DO NOT eat at Ciasa Mia. Seriously, don't. Overpriced, awfully rude service and the food was not only served cold but it was not good at all. As a matter of fact, none of us liked our food and we all ordered different things. Our server, who happened to be the owner, refused to make suggestions claiming it was "very dangerous" and she was really bothered to have to explain the menu. She kept talking back and making rude remarks. I wish we had walked out when we had the chance... Maybe the fact that the she wanted us to wait for our table outside in the rain was a sign of what was to come... Never coming back!

There are meals that you start to sense the moment you walk in the door. They have all the hallmarks of a great meal, but the experience begins before the first plate, before you've fully absorbed the menu. That's Ciasa Mia. I've been absolutely paralyzed into indecision when eating in Paris, comparing review site after review site, and we were lucky enough to stumble onto Ciasa Mia by chance on TheFork.com [that's right, online reservations, same night - how?!]. A quick cross check showed them a TripAdvisor & Yelp favorite, and before I could look anymore, we committed. So amazingly lucky that we did. The tasting menu for 4 courses is 41 euros - our menu offered: Appetizer: Smoked Salmon [3 ways] with a horseradish cream, brioche soaked in oil with rosemary onions Plate 1: Bread Pasta [think Italian Matzo] with cuttlefish, smoked duck, in a kidney bean ragu. Plate 2: Caramelized scallops aromatized with pine, presented with oyster mushrooms, artichoke, polenta and truffle salt-infused baked potato Dessert: well, the pre-dessert was a poppy seed pull apart bread with vanilla sauce and dessert was an Austrian sugar bread with grape puree and vanilla ice cream In between each course was 1-2 other dishes and small bites. There was nothing - not a single item - on this menu that was not perfected by the chef and served exceptionally well by the staff. The textures, combinations and flavors were unique and stunning, and without hesitation I would recommend this restaurant, with the wood beams on the ceiling, soft candle light, dried flowers and compelling wine list, to everyone looking for that "great" Paris meal. The dining room was small and cozy, and YES there were French people there [that seems to be the big ask on the boards]. Ciasa Mia is a rare find that borders on perfection, and will likely only become more perfect in my mind as I relive that meal.
